Ethel and Damien sat on the bed, hand in hand. She began to explain gradually, "Eleanor is the daughter of a powerful witch, Marian, who had a sacred stone. Her Majesty wants to get the stone to become the most powerful witch. But Marian had hidden it in a secret cave and sealed the door with a spell before she died. To break the spell and get access to the cave, she needs Eleanor."
"I see." Damien gradually realized the whole thing. It was a game of power. That little witch was hiding herself to not get killed and to protect the stone from Ursa.
Damien was well-aware of Ursa's evilness, her use of black magic, and the innocent lives she sacrificed in the name of gaining power. He suspected that she was planning to sacrifice Eleanor as well.
That little witch must be scared of her.
