Ryan saw Zane and Kiera coming back together from a run. He was content to see Kiera smile at Zane. He had noticed her upset the night before and assumed it was because Zane was not paying attention to her. After seeing them together, his doubts vanished. However, the worry still gripped his heart when he thought Eleanor was in the pack. The possibility of Zane and Eleanor reconciling was high. If it happened, Zane would not go back to Kiera.
He grew solemn and walked out of the packhouse.
Zane lifted her in his arms as soon as they entered the room, a contented smile on his face. "I want you to give birth to my children quickly."
Kiera blushed furiously and dropped her head on his shoulder, a bashful smile on her face.
