In the secret cave...
Eleanor was having nightmares and repeatedly calling for Zane's name. The woman in the white gown wiped her brow and fed her a few drops of purple elixir.
"Mm…" Eleanor licked her lips and murmured, "Water."
The woman next to her grinned as she slowly poured water into her mouth. "Wake up. Your wound is healed now."
"Mm…" Eleanor whimpered once more when she heard a faint voice. Her eyeballs moved left and right, and her eyelashes trembled as she tried to open her eyes. She could see a bright light ahead and was trying to move forward as the voice called her again, "Eleanor, wake up."
She took a step forward, stretching her hand towards the light. But she felt as if something was pulling her back into the darkness. She struggled to break free from that invisible force that was stopping her from moving ahead.
"Zane…" she murmured and tried harder to break free.
"Wake up…" The voice was louder and clearer this time.
