Damien and his army arrived at the Moon Keepers' border, where Zane and a few soldiers were already waiting for him.
Zane didn't bring many soldiers along with him because he wanted to show Damien that he didn't intend to fight him. They would come out if something went wrong. Furthermore, Zane believed that he, Lucas, and Eleanor could stop the entire Bloodlust Pack army outside the border.
He stood with straight shoulders, Lucas on his right and Eleanor on his left, her head bowed, her hands tied behind her back.
Zane had a firm grip on her arm.
Damien paused as soon as his eyes landed on Eleanor and raised his hands, signaling to his soldiers to stop approaching. His fingers curled into balls as the blood began to boil within him. He didn't like it when he saw tears in Eleanor's eyes.
He took a step forward and asked, "Did you hurt her?"
