Dalila rushed into Ursa's room and found her standing beside the window, peering out. She hurriedly approached her and bowed respectfully.
"My queen."
Ursa only took a long breath but didn't look back at her. Her chamber maid's quick footsteps told her she was worried about something. "What is the matter, Dalila? Why are you anxious early in the morning?" She kept admiring the lovely fountain in the middle of the backyard and fantasized about building one in her palace garden.
"An informant has arrived at dawn," Dalila informed her. "He has given Alpha Damien a letter. I can't see what is written in it, but I heard their conversation. The informant was talking about the new Alpha of the Moon Keepers. We must not forget that Eleanor is a member of that pack. Perhaps the new alpha wants to talk about Eleanor." She glanced up at her back, eager to hear back from her.
Ursa arched her eyebrows as she turned to her. "How are you so sure?"
