Chapter 29 - Chapter Twenty Nine

We were woken up by the emergency alarms from Tan's phone. We were under attack. Before i could process anything Arthur entered our bedroom his hands covered in blood, breathing heavily. "It's the hunters Boss", he told Tan, proceeding to the bathroom to wash his hands. I got out of bed and went to the closet as fast as i could, took the emergency bag as Tan was putting on his armour. I was so focused on making sure i don't leave anything behind when i was pulled to his chest, he kissed me passionately and pulled back to look into my eyes. "I will be ok, go and be careful ok?", i replied following Arthur to the car. The streets were full of panic but all women kept running to the Royal Guard HQ. We all knew the protocol for situations like these and even kids were being taught what to do and where told to report when they saw something out of the ordinary.
