Chapter 1 - Prologue

On that day... From behind the horizon, gray, large clouds filled the entire sky, capturing the sun. For a moment everything was quiet and then a cold wind blew sharply. A blinding flash of lightning lit up the sky and thunder rumbled frighteningly. An avalanche of rain hit the dilapidated walls from above. Like a whip, it whipped over huge blocks of stones.

In the air, there was still a ferocious aura had happened, ending in the death of the most powerful villain in the world.

On the wet ground there was a countless disfigured number of corpses. On their faces forever frozen expression of bewilderment and pain. Rain, huge drops, fell on the pale bodies, erasing the congealed blood.

In this quiet and gloomy place, only the sound of trees could be heard. And then a man's voice sounded in the silence. "Is it all finally over?"

Among the enormous piles of stones seemed a tall young man in places torn and bloodied dirty brown tunic. There was a slight blush on the sunken cheeks of the guy. Every time he breathed, a jet of steam escaped from his pale lips. Rain trickled down his long white hair.

"I am tired…" The guy lowered his head, pressing his palm to his forehead.

Feeling a sharp pain in the abdomen, he staggered.

"Tch, it hurts." The young man admitted, lowering his right palm to the profusely bleeding wound next to his right rib.

His eyes were drawn to the motionless body of a man opposite. Black hair was scattered on the ground and mixed with mud. Eyes the color of blood was wide open and raindrops fell on them.

An ominous smile froze on his dead pale face... Even in death, he continued to scoff the whole world.

The young man frowned.

"Do you think… Defeated me?! My death is just the beginning!.. Hahaha!!!" The ringing voice of the black-haired man sounded in his head.

The villain said about this before he died and even in the last moments of his life, he looked intently and evilly at the white-haired man. This look made its way to goosebumps.

The young man turned away and shook his head, throwing an obsession.

"No, Lucifer. This is the end. For you, and for me..." Came the cold graceful voice.

Feeling a strong burning sensation in his throat, he coughs. Trying to stop it, he pressed the hand to his lips. The young man felt something warm on the fingers and saw blood clots.

At that cold moment, a sharp, harsh wind blew. Sinuously, like a little snake, he played with the hair, scattering them in different directions. Bringing a feeling of cold and emptiness, the wind left quickly, as it appeared. Brushing his hair off face, the young man looks around. A dead, destroyed, rotten place, among which there was only one person alive.

A bitter and unpleasant realization came to the young man's mind. It arose through his mind every time he was exposed to the brink of life and death. A short laugh escaped his lips, it was hoarse and quiet.

"I have always been alone. I will die alone. Ridiculous." Thought the young man with a crooked bias.

All of a sudden, everything begins to darken before his eyes. Nausea rose up in his throat. It makes him feel severe dizziness.

"My body is so heavy, I can't... hold it. I really want to sleep... Maybe at least in the other world... I will feel calm? Fading thoughts flashed through the man's head.

He closed his eyes completely. The sound of rain subsided and was replaced by a long-awaited silence. The body of a young man suddenly became so light and weightless. All thoughts and experiences disappeared, the mind came into the void.

And then... A bright flash of light lit up everything around, as if someone used magic.

The heaviness in the chest, which the young man had felt before, gradually began to weaken. Feeling the weight of the body again, the mind cleared. He clenched his hand into a fist

"Am I not dead? What's happening?" Thoughts flashed through his mind one after another.

Gloomy, gray, thick clouds disappeared, and instead of them there was a clear night sky with millions of stars shining like jewels. The rain had finally stopped and the wind had subsided. There was almost no noise around... All that could be heard was how beautifully and peacefully the crickets were chirping.

The young man was surprised when he realized that he was not in ruins. He found himself in the middle of the night forest and next to the fire. The flame flaring up from time to time threw quick reflections beyond the line of that circle.

It was a mystical and incredible picture.

"Where I am?" He thought to himself.

The young man shuddered when he felt a strong, commanding aura in front of him. It was so unbelievable that it made him tremble with fear. Surprised, he looked up and saw a tall young man in front of him, showing long, red hair pulled back in a high ponytail. His facial features looked rather rough, but he could be called handsome. But the most striking feature that this man had was his burgundy eyes, deep as lakes. Or rather, the look with which he looked at the white-haired young man.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Thought the boy, frowning.

And then… The red-haired man abruptly grabbed his hand and pressed guy to him. The young man was cold and trembling all over. The man hugged him gently to his chest.

"Lin! You won't die! I will save you!" The red-haired man took the young man's face in his hands and looking into the eyes.

Strange feelings swept over Lin. His heart was beating fast, his breathing was ragged.

Lin understood that these were the words he had never had enough of, they could be trusted.

"Yes, save me." And a slight smile blossomed on the ash-gray face.

And a new story has begun.
