Chapter 31 - Triumph

"Say yes! Say yes!! Say yes!!!" Those words were changed by their colleagues who were around during the party. The lieutenant just sat down where he was as he watched the couple who were soon to be engaged. Mary looked at Jason in the eye with watery eyes as she smiled and accepted his proposal. She stretched out her left hand to him, giving him her finger to slide the ring in as she said "Yes, I'll marry you. You've been the best thing that has happened to me, I love you Jason." Mary replied as everyone screamed in happiness and fireworks we're done. Balloons flew down from the top with colourful glitter sprays flew down on them. The congregation clapped as Jason got up from his kneeling position and replied to Mary, "I love you too." He wrapped one of his arms around her waist while he used the other to brush off her hair from her face as he kissed her on her lips, locking them with his which made the congregation to go wild with happiness.
