Police investigations were carried out but there was no green light or any progress. Haera's neighbors were all taken to the police station for investigations as everyone was asked to narrate their own part of the story and what they saw.
Cynthia was the only one who was kept as a prime suspect to the kidnap case. Her departure without informing Haera and the sudden kidnapping that took place after she left made her to be suspected as she might have collaborated with the kidnappers.
Cynthia cried and begged that she knew nothing about it and they should let her go but there was nothing she could do to change the law as she had no evidence on her.
Cynthia was bitter with Haera after she had explained it wasn't intentional that she left her son and house without informing her.
Haera felt sorry too for her but her son was her major priority and she would do anything to get him back.
