"Hey, Snurkle what kind of training is this?" Asked Mou. He and Lyra were currently lifting the giant Stone Snake Turtle who had a boulder situated on its back. The combined weight was so dubious that it had both fledglings sweating profusely, moreover, exhausted. Their muscles had never succumbed to such intense pressure before.
To answer Mou's inquiry, Snurkle told him, "This training is to strengthen your bodies, you birds are too soft."
"Yeah, but did you have to throw a freaking boulder on top?" Mou was unsettled by how roughly he and Lyra was being treated.
Lyra glanced at Mou and said, "Stop complaining. This creature was kind enough to help us get stronger. You should be grateful."
"Grateful, my foot!" Mou expressed his annoyance. "This beast is only helping us because he wants us to get him out of here."
"So do we," Lyra told him.
"Yes but…" Mou got cut off.
