Aaron saw Clarrissa innocently staring at the water. She was kind of leaning at the deck of the boat and staring down with her hands hanging down that she almost touched the water.
Clarrissa was watching the reflection of her face in calm water when it suddenly started to look so sharp and it changed into hands and a manly face." Aaron," she exclaimed happily." I was waiting for you." she blushed.
"I missed you." he smiled sweetly. Clarrissa thought he was even more handsome than the day before.
"You are so beautiful Clarrissa," he said.
Clarrissa blushed."You are handsome too."
Aaron smiled, she liked him. "What are you reading today?" he asked.
" Come on board, I will show you," she offered him her hand to help him on board.
"I can't go," he said sadly. He was not sure to tell her, that he is a merman yet, after Will's reaction.
"Why? Did my brother threaten you? " Clarrissa's face was surprised.
"He did," Aaron nodded," But just because he loves you so much. However he will not disturb us, he went to dive with my sister."Aaron smiled.
"You have a sister? What's her name?"Clarissa was happy Will found a new friend too.
"Triss "Aaron nodded.
"How lovely, I like to meet her one day." Clarrisa clapped her hands.
"Of course."Aaron nodded. When the time comes, he will show her all his family and friends.
Clarrissa lay down on her belly facing Aaron," Let's not anger my brother then, you can stay in the water if you don't mind."Clarrissa placed the plate of biscuits between them." We can have a little picnic." she smiled and stared into Aaron's face, which was so alluringly close. Aaron felt mesmerised." She is so cute." he thought." I see you are wearing my shell again." he said happily.
"It is my favourite now," she played with it smiling.
" Because you like purple?" Aaron asked hopefully.
"No, because it is from you!" she smiled.
"Will you come to visit me one day?" Aaron asked.
Clarrissa nodded."If you bring me an invitation," she said cheekily and bit her lips. Aaron nodded and dived down under the water. Clarissa looked for him, but he was under the boat again. He resurfaced in a few minutes. He brought her a beautiful big pink pearl."This is my invitation for you."He dropped it to her palm. Clarrissa's heart fluttered. "I accept."She smiled, not knowing she sealed her fate with her innocent words." But I will have to be back on the boat before sunset. "Aaron just smiled."I will come to pick you up tomorrow." and disappeared into the water.
Aaron went to find the Triss. She was sitting in her pretty cave, looking at sleeping Will." Return the boy, for now, I got a date for tomorrow," he said to her.
"No!" Triss said jealously, "he agreed to be mine."
"But he did not even wake up yet."Aaron looked at Will."Give him one more day with his sister," Aaron asked Triss, "Nobody is taking him from you. I will make sure of that."
"Ok," Triss sighed. "Let's bring him back."Aaron and Triss carefully took Will to Clarrissa, who was getting worried."Will! What happened?"Clarrissa called when she saw Aaron carry Will together with a beautiful young woman.
"He hit his head on the cliff," she said. "We played hide and seek. I'm Aaron's sister Triss, " she smiled sweetly. Clarrissa waved to her."So nice to meet you. Thank you for taking care of him and bringing him to me. You saved his life. "
Arron and Triss lifted Will out of the water onto the boat deck.
"Would you like to come on board?"Clarrissa hoped.
"No, we need to go," Aaron said as Triss pulled his arm."See you tomorrow. "He waved to her.
Clarrissa dragged Will to his bed and covered him with blankets. She wished Triss and Aaron could stay with her. She felt a bit insecure, while her brother was snoozing off. She checked his breathing and it look normal. Clarrissa slapped him a few times. "Will, wake up, wake up!"
He opened his eyes." Clarrissa I'm tired, just let me sleep." he whispered.
"Is anywhere hurting you?"She asked."Will shook his head.
"You need to stay awake a bit after you hurt your head, "said Clarrissa.
"I do not remember hitting my head," said Will and squeezed his eyes. The picture of a beautiful mermaid appeared in front of him. "I saw something in the water though," he said.
"What was it?"Clarrissa asked.
"I will tell you if you don't laugh at me."Will started to sober up.
"Of course, I will not. What was it ?"Clarrissa asked curiously.
"It was a beautiful mermaid," Will replied.
"With dark blue hair?"Clarrissa asked.
Will nodded.
"That was probably Triss, Aaron's sister. Not a mermaid. You went diving with her yesterday." Clarrissa smiled.
Will shook his head. He did not remember diving with anyone, apart from chasing Aaron and seeing the mermaid."
"They brought you here unconscious a while ago. You hit your head."Clarrissa noted.
"Ahh."Will nodded. He will have to think it all over. This seemed highly suspicious to him.
Clarrissa gave Will warm tea. She tried to find the bump on his head but did not see it. "Probably the cold sea water cooled it down already," she thought.
After a tasty dinner, she let Will go to sleep. He lay in the bed and saw a beautiful face." Triss." he murmured. "Was she really a mermaid?" he kind of could not believe himself. It all seemed like a distant dream.
Wil woke up late morning."Tell me everything you know, what happened yesterday." he asked Clarrissa while she served him breakfast."You hit your head while diving with Triss, "Clarrissa smiled. "You were playing hide and seek." she chuckled. "Aaron brought you back with her just before nightfall."
Will saw a beautiful mermaid in his head. " I saw a mermaid. Aaron is a merman." Will thought in his head. "But it looked like Clarrissa is not aware at all. I will investigate some more before I tell her. I will bring her proof!"
Clarrissa smiled, "Eat your breakfast, my ocean explorer. "
Will looked at his sister. She sat next to him, munching her breakfast happily. "She is so innocent." he thought.
"Did Aaron come here yesterday?" Will asked her curiously.
Clarrissa nodded." But he did not come aboard, he was here just for a little bit, we chatted while he was in the water. He said you forbid him to come. It is a bit wrong from you, while you were playing around with his sister."
Will almost choked at his cereals. He was going to tell Clarrissa to stay away from Aaron, when he remembered, that he lost the diving contest. Also, he said he is protecting her. "If I force Clarrissa to stay away from him, he might be dangerous."Will thought."I have to do it carefully."
"Just be careful, Clarrissa. You are too young for a boyfriend." Will said.
"No worries, we are just friends."Clarrissa smiled."But feel free to date his sister, I think you are old enough to get your first girlfriend."She chuckled.
Will blushed. "You read too many romance books." he pretended to concentrate on eating his breakfast. His sister is too clever!
Clarrissa watched him a bit."I think you should stay in and rest today."
"No," Will shook his head. He had to find the thru about the mermaid who saved him.
"You have a date with Triss?"Clarrissa tried to lead the conversation carefully, so she can ask if she can go visit Aaron.
"Maybe," said Will and stood up from the table. He rushed to put his gear on.
Clarrissa clenched her lips together. She did not even get a chance to ask.
Till she tidy the table, Will was already sitting on the edge of the boat ready to dive. Clarrissa quickly put inside the oven the blueberry muffins, she started to make and came to kiss him goodbye.
"See you later," Will gave a kiss to Clarrissa on her chubby cheeks and stroked her long hair. " I love you always."
"I know," she smiled." Why are you so serious?" she asked him, it was not like her brother at all.
"Just don't worry about me. I will be out quite for long today." he jumped off the boat. Clarrissa sighed. She hoped to see Aron again.
Clarrisa went for a little swim around the boat. Then she changed and brushed her long wet hair when Aaron resurfaced again.
"Hi," she smiled sweetly. "How are you today?"
"All better as I see you."Aaron smiled. She was like a sun to him.
"Did you see Will?"Clarrissa asked.
"Yes, he went after my sister. "Aaron smiled.
"After her? "Clarrissa asked curiously.
Aaron nodded. "They still play hide and seek game."
"Ahha, "Clarrissa blushed. "That is why he got ready so fast! He must like your sister."She chuckled.
Aaron nodded."Not more than I like you."He said in a mesmerizing voice and Clarrissa blushed.
"I have a gift for you," he said.
"Yes, what is it?"Clarrissa was curious."You gave me already two presents and I gave you nothing!" she blushed.
"You gave me biscuits and your smile. You are sweeter than anything else."Aaron smiled. "And because of that, I have a song for you."
Clarrissa blushed."Ahh, wow, you would sing for me?"
Aaron nodded and picked some anciently looking musical instrument from the water. Clarrissa did not have any idea, what it was called, but it was something like a guitar or harp. It sounded more like a harp.
Aaron played softly like a dream and sang with a mesmerizing voice:
"Golden hair floating in the wind, blue eyes looking at the sky,
you are the only one I like, please Clarrissa be mine."
Clarrissa listened to the beautiful song and blushed.
Aaron continued to sing:
"Ocean waves hardly crushed the rock, don't destroy my heart,
for only for you is beating now, I can't go away from you far.
You are my water and my sky, you keep my dreams alive,
I need you more than the air above, please Clarrissa be my love."
Clarrissa blushed and hide her face in her hands. She never had anyone write her a love song before and she was so touched, that she wanted to cry. She did not even know what to do or what to tell him.
Aaron stopped singing and looked at her cute reaction."Did you like it? "Aron asked.
Clarrissa peeked out from behind her hands and nodded.
"Will you be mine then?" he asked her straight away.
Clarrissa blushed."I do like you too, but I need to know you better." she smiled. "Let's just be just friends for now."
Arron nodded with a wide smile, "You will have all the time in the world. I will make you fall in love with me." he said confidently.
Clarrissa smiled. She really liked him.
"Do you want to come to visit me today?"Aaron asked.
"Ahh, let's stay here, "Clarrissa said," I did not ask Will and I'm still kind of baking."
Aaron nodded."It is fine. I will be here in the water."
"Wait, wait. I will bring you a blueberry muffin," she said and ran to the kitchen. She was still shaken from his song.
"I still did not tell her I'm a merman."Aaron sighed in his mind.
Clarrissa came back with a plate of muffins."I just finished them, I did not have time to decorate them yet, but they taste nice.Try."She offered him the plate.
"How was Will after yesterday?"Aaron asked carefully while eating the delicious muffin.
"He was fine, but he must hit his head hard. He was thinking Triss is a mermaid," Clarrissa shook her head with a soft smile.
Aron looked at her. "You don't like mermaids?"
Clarrisa smiled."Of course I do. When I was little I wished to be one myself. I used to sit on the beach and make a tail from the sand on the top of my legs," she laughed.
Aaron smiled, she was so cute. The big stone fell from his heart. She liked mermaids. Now he just has to think about how he will tell her.
Will went back to look around the caves. He was not brave enough to go inside, but he kept looking around them. He was diving around the entrance of the cave when a beautiful mermaid appeared in the rough cave opening. Her dark blue hair were floating behind her like a veil.
Will stared. The mermaid smiled and took his hand gently. She led him into the tunnels and Will followed like in a dream. He was not scared even a bit.
Triss smiled. He definitely liked her, when he followed her just like this. She took him to one of her underwater caves and resurfaced with him.
Will stared. He was in a spacious grotto, full of treasures. Triss sat down at the edge of the pool. Will took off his diving mask and pipe. He stared into her beautiful face."Are you Triss?"
She smiled."Yes, Will. I'm Triss."Her voice was soft as the foam on the ocean waves.
"Are you Aaron's sister?"Will asked.
"Yes, " she nodded.
"You saved me yesterday?"Will looked at her mesmerised.
Triss nodded with a sweet smile.
"Did Aaron want to drown me?"Will furrowed his brows.
Triss shook her head, "No, he brought you out to meet me. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting for so long, it was my fault."She said in the sweetest of voices.
