Chapter 156 - 152) Time passes

The next day was chaotic. Snape sent me a message saying that something strange was happening to Lily, and Lily, after a night of rest, managed to regain her normal mental abilities and couldn't help but send a hysterical message about what had happened.

I had to go back to Hogwarts in secret, but this time, since I knew we wouldn't have sexual relations, I could send a clone, making the journey much safer.

Upon arrival, I was almost discovered due to Lily's attack on me. I had to take her to the Room of Requirement to talk. She was surprised by the room, but there were more important things to discuss.

It was much more difficult than with Petunia, and I had to use my [Blood Control] on more than one occasion to establish a mental state that would benefit me. I argued, talked, deceived, and persuaded, but at least I got what I wanted. She more or less accepted what had happened, at least until she could talk to her sister in person. I also made sure she didn't tell Snape or send letters openly discussing the matter.

I also came out on the losing side. I received her demands and accepted most of them. I would have to be careful for a while to make it easier when the time comes for her to be transported. For the next few months, I'll leave a clone willing to please Lily in whatever way possible.

...

Time passed, and I managed to make things work. When Snape and Lily finished their second year, the group reunited, but things were somewhat awkward.

Petunia and Lily talked and kept their distance from Snape and me for a while. I knew it was a ticking time bomb, so I spied on them with an invisible clone. There were ups and downs, but it would be fine for now. The difficult part will be in the future when someone else besides us knows about our relationship, but I no longer care. When I return to my time, everything will be fine.

As promised, I took the kids to Newt during those vacations. It was an interesting visit for them and challenging for me. Tina took the girls aside to have a talk with them, and I paid the price when she found out about my encounter with Lily in the bathroom, although after they had left.

The children got to know the intriguing suitcases and the many creatures that inhabited them, although Elise was kept hidden to avoid some uncomfortable situations. They should grow a little more before meeting her.

It went well, aside from Tina's sermon, scolding, and beating in the end. The excuse of "you said something, so I had to do the opposite" doesn't hold up well. Honestly, I think Tina used torture methods she learned as an Auror.

The worst part is that, in addition to Tina chastising me for what I did and the problems with Lily and Petunia, my love life became complicated due to Elise. After being with Lily in the bathroom, she had another bout of insecurity, and after much discussion, I could only try to find a way to fix it.

...

I would like to say that time improved everything, but it wasn't entirely the case. There were good things, but also many bad ones.

I was officially recognized as part of the Scamander family, even gaining access to the vault at Gringotts. This didn't sit well with my supposed siblings, who unleashed a fight with their parents when we reunited.

Having a stranger join the family wasn't something they were willing to accept so easily. They knew more about me because my activities didn't decrease, and my work with Newt continued to impress many, including Lily and Snape, who were no longer surprised to see me in The Prophet every few months.

The family seemed to have a significant conflict, at least among the adults. The children were happy and entertained to have me as a relative, especially knowing that they might also receive gifts from the magical Father Christmas in the next Christmas.

I can't say that I helped much in resolving the situation. Tina and Newt didn't allow me to use my [Blood Control] on their children. This issue will be a significant strain on the family relationship, at least for a year before we can reconcile.

I... was somewhat happy with what the elders did. Since then, in this campaign, I decided to use their surname alone, being known from that point forward as Red Scamander. That name also started appearing in our adventures, and reporters from The Prophet approached us. It couldn't be avoided, but I only gave a brief interview.

There was also Newt, who was almost finished publishing another book in which I was included. My powers and abilities had enabled both of us to make significant advances in magizoology, which the elder couldn't achieve on his own. For this reason, there would now be a new book by Newt with new information and where I would appear as a collaborator.

Andra managed to cling to Eileen almost perfectly. The witch was delighted and didn't seem to want to separate from her new wife. Yes, they got married when Snape was in his fourth year, which was a tough blow for him.

Anyway, Eileen is not only an exemplary wife for my 'aunt,' but she also works in the brothel in the administrative department. It wasn't easy, but love can conquer all, and she put aside her repulsion for that type of work and contributes to the non-sexual part of it. You could say she's fully committed, although she still hates me, especially for hurting Sev, and speaking of that...

My relationship with Sev and Lily fell apart. Over the years, Lily started to distrust me more. I spent more time with her sister, and she began to doubt my words. The fact that we still hadn't been "transported to another place," along with me hiding some things from her, made her suspect that everything I did and said was to take advantage of her.

Things got worse when Sev found out, and we almost ended up in a deadly duel, so to speak. He didn't forgive me and distanced himself further from me. We no longer went out together to the dark side of the wizarding world, and he didn't even return home to avoid the possibility of running into me if I went to see Andra. Eileen hated me even more when she found her son crying.

Well, Sev also revealed some things that only we knew, about Andra's identity and what we did, which led Lily to hate me, believing she had been deceived and violated by someone she considered a friend. Petunia was always on my side, but that only caused her to be shunned as well.

I tried to fix it, but even with my powers, it would require a great deal of emotional manipulation and possible memory modification and/or erasure. I decided to give up at a certain point. I didn't want things to escalate like this, but wouldn't try too hard either. I already got what I wanted, fucking Petunia and Lily when they were both at 100% favorability. When I return to my world, these events will never have happened, and I will have versions of both shortly after they have.

Certainly, I can no longer go to the Evans' house. Lily warned me that if she sees me near her house, she will reveal everything to her parents and teachers, which would ruin the reputation I has gained and possibly send me to Azkaban. It was good that she had some consideration for our past friendship, at least. Now, I can only meet with Petunia outside her house.

Another person affected was Gigi, who also failed to see Sev again and was very depressed. In addition to my experiments, I used Gigi to satisfy Snape's needs and screw him, and she had developed affection for him. But now she can't even get close to him without him raising his wand against her.

Tina and Newt were a bit worried about the calmness I displayed, but I didn't tell them the whole truth. I just told them not to worry. Although Tina still scolded me with "I told you so" and "you're a jerk."

There was one other good thing in all of this. My research has progressed a lot, and though it's not perfect, I have almost completed it entirely. Andra no longer has to hide her appearance with magic. I have rejuvenated almost her entire body to the point where she looks like a slightly aged milf. However, I'm confident that in one or two years, I'll be able to make her physically young again. If I succeed, I will have achieved a way to indefinitely prolong a person's life and youth, immortality...

That change also helped make our sexual practices more bearable. Andra fulfilled my command and taught me a lot about sex. I practiced with her, some of her prostitutes, and a few captured Muggles. After a couple of years of effort, I achieved:

[Sexual arts (Minor)]

An ability that causes minor automatic corrections in my actions during sexual interactions. It greatly improved my potential in bed, and it was evident in how some of the prisoners who were practically being violated began to enjoy sex at least 20% more when I had that ability. I hoped to develop higher levels of this skill over time.

...

At night, in the Hogwarts library, the headmaster walked alone, illuminated by the light of his wand, stopping in one of the aisles formed by bookshelves.

"These are not hours for reading, curfew has already passed," said the headmaster in his usual elderly voice, without expressing any particular emotion.

"Curfew is for the students, not for me," I replied without taking my eyes off the book in my hands.

"I never understood why not. Newt hoped you could come and learn, interact with other children... I would think you would like to come to Hogwarts with young Evans and not have to sneak into the school as you did in the past. Although from what I understand, your relationship seems to have become complicated," Dumbledore continued speaking as if it were a very normal and everyday conversation.

"If I had come to Hogwarts, I probably wouldn't have learned as much as I did with Newt, which I consider more beneficial for me. And as for the others, I would prefer if you didn't meddle in my personal life without my consent."(Red)

"I hoped our first meeting would be more friendly, but I see that you still maintain that attitude of keeping away from me. I would like to know why, if you don't mind, young Scamander."(Dumbledore)

"For the same reason I keep away from almost everyone else, tranquility. Involving myself with you is the opposite... I hardly talk to other wizards besides Newt and Tina. I don't want to have a bad relationship or offend you in any way, and I apologize for my previous attitude, but I still want nothing to do with you."(Red)

"But at this moment, you are here at Hogwarts, reading an advanced book on Transfiguration... in my opinion. I'm not against young people being interested in books, but I would recommend starting with a simpler one," Dumbledore said as he adjusted his glasses and looked at me seriously in the eyes, probably trying to glean something from my mind, but I knew it would be futile.

"I have read many of the books here, although not all of them. I wanted to come and see if I could find something that could help me," I (Red) explained.

"Help you with what?" Dumbledore asked.

"Hmmm..." I paused for a moment while I thought. "You were a Transfiguration professor, right?"

"Yes, in the past, before becoming headmaster," Dumbledore replied.

"Do you know any magic that can turn a magical creature into a human?" I asked.

"For your unicorn girlfriend?" he asked with evident interest.

"Hmm, I knew Newt told you things, but I didn't expect so much of my privacy to be revealed," I complained weakly. "Yes, for her. Our relationship has some difficulties, and the conversion of a unicorn into a human is the solution we're seeking. But from what I've found, it's easier for me to turn into a horse than for her to become human."

"Unfortunately, I don't think I can help you. A unicorn is a creature of high magical power, transforming it completely into a human would require a great deal of magic that few individual wizards would possess, in addition to being a temporary measure..." Dumbledore explained, providing some information about the transformation that I listened to attentively, but he didn't reveal anything particularly relevant that I didn't already know.

"That's what I thought, but I will continue searching... I hope you don't mind if I continue coming here to read. Few places store as many books as this, many of which can no longer be found elsewhere. Oh, and I will also start exploring the restricted section," I said, dispelling my clone without giving him a chance to respond.

My search would continue. Although I had countless rituals, many of them were lengthy, costly, or risky, and I wasn't going to take any chances. Elise is everything to me, and I won't put her at risk just for a quick fix. I prefer to proceed slowly and safely. We will achieve it at some point.
