Chapter 56 - Chapter 53: Quidditch Match: Lions vs. Serpents

It was morning and Harry was at the Gryffindor table being cheered on by his classmates. He was nervous because of his first match, so much so that he couldn't eat anything.

"You've got to eat some breakfast"

"I don't want anything"

"Just a bit of toast" wheedled Hermione.

"I'm not hungry"

At that moment, the boy felt that someone put their hands on his shoulders and began to squeeze him in the form of a massage, at the same time that he felt calmer and became somewhat hungry. When he turned around, he realized that he was the supposed twin brother of his best friend.

"Red?" asked several curious people.

"Potter, feed yourself, you have a big game ahead and I'm sure you'll win" I said to the confused boy while continuing to apply [Blood control (Calm) and (Hunger)], as well as discreetly using my blood magic to cure any damage to your body.

"Why are you supporting him? You're not supposed to support your house," Ron asked. At this point our relationship improved, it's not good, but he no longer yells annoyed when he sees me. Our time apart with our own friends, as well as a few adventures, helped us a lot.

"Here there is no house or distinctions, it does not matter if we are Gryffindor or Slytherin, before us, we have Potter and his great victory and that is what matters" I said as if it were a great speech, but all the lions were more confused than encouraged.

"Yes, who cares that he is a Slytherin? he's still family" Fred said

"He's rooting for us, so that's fine, plus he's been fixing up the Quidditch pitch for us," George continued.

When they heard that they all accepted it too, although I couldn't do much there were still some parts where I worked, for which the fans were grateful.

"Fred, George, I hope you take care of our champion" I said to my brothers.

"Of course"

"Nobody will touch a hair"

They answered me, but I still secretly sent them a message letting them know that the Slytherin might get a little rougher with them, so they should be careful... and save Potter.

"Why do you have so much confidence in me?" Harry asked confused, as far as he knew he didn't have a special relationship with the boy who kept massaging him.

"Because even though we didn't start in the best way, you are still a good friend of my brother and a nice young man. I have seen you during the stadium repairs, and you have real potential, I believe in you like all your friends here."

"Yes Harry, he's right. It doesn't matter if we got on badly at first, he's right about what he said, we're all rooting for you here," Hermione said, getting the sentiment of several lions.

Harry felt good about that, he didn't expect my support, but that of his classmates did give him encouragement, but also the pressure of not wanting to disappoint them. Things went on like this until the end of breakfast, Harry ate a little at least and then left. Left alone with Hermione, she asked me.

"What about all that?"

"With what?"

"Your support for Harry is not normal, and even if it was, you wouldn't be so insistent" Hermione said, clearly doubting my attitude.

"Could be...thanks for humoring me. It's not really that I want to encourage him, just out of good will"

"And why did you do it then?"

"Because if he loses I'll castrate him and make him eat his own balls" I said with a very serious expression as I walked away, leaving the girl behind me with wide eyes hearing me say such things.

The day went on as normal until 11am, where almost the entire school seemed to be gathered around the Quidditch pitch, both teachers and students set up in the stands waiting for the match to start.

Hermione, Ron and the other Gryffindor used a sheet that Ron's rat had ruined to make a charmed banner that said "Potter for President" which I didn't understand why. I was with binoculars in the Gryffindor gallery with Hermione, my brother and other lions, my hair matched well with the place, but still highlighted the fact that I was from another house. Curiously, the most annoying were the Slytherin, but after today things might start to change muhahahaha.

I'm not going to say that I didn't want to be in the Slytherin grandstand to see Gemma's face when she lost, but I was afraid that everyone would jump on me angry about something, not that I was afraid, but if because of the disturbance the match was canceled or something like that would want to cut my balls off.

Meanwhile, in the locker room, the members of the Gryffindor team were changing. Oliver Wood was cheering on his team with the same speech he gives every year, but at that moment, when the twins were interrupting his speech, which they were tired of listening to, a voice was heard.

"You don't need a speech to stimulate yourself, since they will even win without it"

"Red!" x3

"How did you get in here?" Oliver Wood asked, although he wasn't too worried about the boy being a Slytherin, since he had already heard a lot about his brothers and knew that he was trustworthy.

"I work here almost every day, I know this place like Katie's ass cheeks" I replied.

"What!?" Katie Bell yelled in surprise.

"Just kidding, just to relieve you a bit. I'm here to give you one last pep talk, and to warn you to be careful with Slytherin, they don't plan to be 'respectful' in this game."

"Okay, thanks for the warning"

"Don't worry, we'll be fine" (Fred)

"They can be the ones who fear us" (George)

"Okay, I trust you" I said as I stood to one side of the locker room exit, "now go out and humiliate them, because if you lose I will turn all the men here into women with scissors and all the women will be punished physically, mentally and sexually, so let's win" I smirked as I said it.

"Guys, your brother's sense of humor is quite strong" said Angelina Jonshon, who, like everyone else, felt a kind of invisible pressure on them when they heard those words.

"That's not the scariest thing" (George)

"What's scary is that I think he's not kidding" (Fred)

"We know when he is playing" (George)

"but this doesn't seem like one of those times" (Fred)

"What does that mean?" Alicia Spinnet asks.

"That maybe we should win" x2

"You're running late, go" I insisted.

They ignored my earlier words for the time being and began to pass through the entrance one by one. When the boys passed by I slapped him on the shoulders loaded with my [Calm] and [Anger] skills, but when the girls passed I spanked them with the same skills, which disoriented them and if it wasn't for the fact that they were late surely they would have turned to hit me.

Johnson, being the last of the girls to leave, gave me a reproachful look and was reluctant to go through the door with me there, but she had to, since she could tell I wouldn't budge. She passed with her hands covering her butt, but when she was close to me, with my finger I touched her neck slightly using [Pain] causing her to cover the place where I applied it as if squashing a mosquito and in that time I gave her corresponding spank

Everyone were outside, the girls a bit angry, but, what could we do? It was about to start. Using my skills on them, I expected them to do their best, just as spanking was to wish them luck...yes for that.

After a few last words before the match from Mrs. Hooch, with a blast of the whistle, the match began.

The players flew around the court, as well as the three different balls. Jordan was the commentator who told us what happened, since in part it was very difficult to see everything that was happening, I did not understand how he could contemplate it to describe it.

"And the Quaffle is taken immediately by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor, what an excellent Chaser that girl is, and rather attractive, too" Jordan was heard, who was reprimanded by McGonagall.

'And she has very firm buttocks' I thought, and I would have said it out loud if I didn't have Hermione by my side, that after thinking about it a bit I said "Hermione, you must appreciate how much I love you"

My words took the girl out of her concentration and she stayed for a while trying to process and understand them, but then she just ignored it, thinking that it was another of her friend's stupid things.

"Here's Gryffindor Chaser, Katie Bell; nice flight around Flint, he's back up off the pitch and… uff, that was close" Jordan commented after seeing Katie nearly hit by a quaffle.

I think my words or maybe my skills helped, if I remember correctly Katie would be hit on the back of the head, but now she was able to dodge it.

The game continued and at some point Hagrid walked into the stands where we were.

"Budge up there, move along" The giant made his way.

"Hagrid!" Ron and Hermione exclaimed as they gave space to the giant, I was standing to one side, as the excitement wouldn't let me sit still.

"I was watching from my hut" said Hagrid, showing the long pair of binoculars that hung around his neck, "But it's not the same as being in the crowd. Still no sign of the snitch yet?"

"No," Ron replied.

"Hello Hagrid" I said, since it seems that he had ignored me in the excitement of the game.

"Hello...what's a Slytherin doing here?" he asks after noticing, he was confused when he saw me.

"Easy Hagrid, he's with us," said Hermione.

"He's my brother," Ron clarified.

"Oh...sorry, I didn't mean to be rude" he apologized, because his previous words weren't very polite, but he was still a bit confused.

"No problem"

"Shouldn't you be with the others in your house?" he ask intrigued.

"They don't like me much for being a Weasley, and here I have my friends"

"Yes, they are very bad people there, I don't know how they put you there when all your brothers are in Gryffindor" said the giant, feeling some pity for me, he had the impression that all Slytherin were bullies. Part of why I don't treat me bad now was the clarification that I was a Weasley and that I diminished all my bad auras and strengthened the good ones to overshadow them.

"Slytherin in possession" said Lee Jordan "Chaser Pucey ducks two Bludgers, two Weasleys, and Chaser Bell, and speeds toward the... wait a moment... was that the Snitch?"

As Jordan said that, we all looked up at the sky at the same time and noticed the golden Snicht flying behind the head of one of the Slytherin players.

Both seekers went after it, but Harry with a better broom moved ahead and might have had a chance to catch it if Marcus Flint hadn't gotten in the way to stop him. The Gryffindor were given a free kick due to the foul, but he still wouldn't make up the points for grabbing the snicht.

"Send him off, ref! Red card"

"What are you talking about, Dean?" said Ron.

"Red card!" said Dean furiously "In soccer you get shown the red card and you're out of the game!"

"But this isn't soccer, Dean" Ron reminded him.

"They should change the rules. Flint was able to knock Harry out of the air." Hagrid was on Dean's side.

"Perhaps, if Flint had finished Harry off and prevented Gryfindor from winning the match, I would possibly have his head on a platter in the great hall for dinner tomorrow," I said somewhat annoyed.

"I think I understand a little why they put you in Slytherin," Hagrid said off to the side, a little uncomfortable at what I said, but agreeing with the intent.

As we talked, I noticed that Harry on the air was acting weird. Not just me, Hagrid saw it too, and soon everyone in the stadium noticed how Harry seemed to lose control of his broom.

"Did something happen to it when Flint blocked him?" Seamus whispered.

"It can't be," Hagrid said, his voice trembling, "Nothing can interfere with a broom, except powerful dark magic... No boy can do that to a Nimbus Two Thousand"

Hermione, hearing him say that, grabbed my binoculars and started looking around the stands.

"What are you doing?" Ron asked, somewhat concerned.

"I knew it" Hermione gasped"Snape…Look" she pointed to the seats where the teachers were.

Ron took Hagrid's binoculars and could see Snape staring at Harry as he recited a few words.

"He's doing something... jinxing the broom," said Hermione. "Red, we have to stop him."

"Go Hermione, I choose you" I told her as I extended my hand towards Snape, confusing the girl "Another me will go too, I'll stay here to keep an eye on Potter"

Upon hearing this, Hermione ran down the bleachers, heading towards the teachers. If you're wondering why I don't personally do it, the reason is... I'm trusting that there is a destiny. Potter might have won the match because of it, and I didn't want to risk over-interfering that would change it and end up losing the match. Something stupid, but why risk it? If it weren't for that, he might be ready to blow up the entire grandstand. Still, my nonmagical clone was waiting nearby with a lighter and a spray can for any eventuality.

As Hermione went to Snape, I could see how things were not going well for the Gryffindor team. The snakes took advantage of the confusion of the lions and that my brothers were trying to help Harry to score more goals, which annoyed me a lot. I could also hear my twin complain and hurry Hermione, interesting the fact that we finally have the same interests.

When Hermione got behind the stands where Snape was, she found me, well, the clone. She nodded and then drew her wand to conjure a brigth blue flame on Professor Snape's robes, which took tens of seconds for him to realize that he was on fire. Hermione, hearing him scream, quickly scooping the fire off him into a little jar in her pocket while I put the lighter in my inventory. With the work finished, we both left quickly without leaving evidence of our actions.

After our intervention, Harry was able to climb back onto his broom and steady himself. He flew towards the field of play again, as he was quite high up and on the way he seemed to choke on something. He took his hands off his broom and brought them to his face, causing him to almost lose control again, but then we watched as he pulled a small golden ball out of his mouth, as he coughed repeatedly.

The confusion of the game was very big, but my shouts of joy could be heard throughout the stadium, and after that comes the exclamations of everyone else. Everyone was confused but excited, except for Slytherin, whose players kept complaining about Potter swallowing the Snicth instead of catching it, but never mind, Gryffindor had won.

During the whoops in the stadium, I took my time taking a look through my binoculars at the Slytherin stands. There I could see Gemma who had her blue face with her face swollen from the force she made of her with her hateful expression, as well as the veins on her face protruding from her.

Then I changed and I could see Pansy close to her, looking at her with pity, and then she took a pair of binoculars and went to where I was. It was hilarious when we both saw that we were watching each other from a distance, and she quickly put down the binoculars and walked away, hiding behind Tracey who was laughing at her.

The match ended, and my clone walked over to the locker room and jumped on Harry to congratulate him, just as the other members of the team were doing. Only that after releasing it, the three girls of the team pounced on me, but since I was already prepared when their hands touched my clothes, the clone dissipated leaving them holding the air. I ran away from them during lunch, but I'd make up for them later.

After that in the afternoon Ron, Hermione, Harry and me were at Hagrid's house, as I participated and was a clear supporter of Potter at the party they invited me.

"It was Snape…all three of us saw him, he was cursing your broomstick. He mumbled and wouldn't take his eyes off you" Ron told Harry.

"Rubbish," said Hagrid, who wasn't paying attention. "Why would Snape do somethin' like that?"

Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at each other, wondering if they should tell, but Harry decided to tell him the truth.

"We found out something about him. He tried to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween. It bit him. We think he was trying to steal whatever it's guarding"

"What do you know about Fluffy?" said Hagrid, dropping the teapot.

"Fluffy?" x3 they asked surprised. That didn't matter to me, I was more concentrated tasting the tea while I thought how I would do it to Gemma.

"Uh-huh... It's mine... bought him off a Greek chappie I met in the pub las' year... and lent it to Dumbledore to guard the..."

"What?" Harry asked nervously.

"Well, don't ask me anymore," Hagrid exclaimed flatly, "That's top secret, that is."

"But Snape tried to steal it," Ron pointed out.

"Rubbish, Snape's a Hogwarts teacher, he'd do nothin' of the sort" said Hagrid.

"Then why did he just try to kill Harry? I know a jinx when I see one, I learned about them. You've got to keep eye contact, and Snape wasn't blinking at all, I'm sure of what I saw!" Hermione yelled, "And why don't you seem interested in any of this?" she pointed me confused.

"Because I don't care, if it were true, what could we do…? Nothing! You should be more glad that Potter saved his balls" I replied smiling.

"Why saved his...? You know... why did you want he to win so much? And why are you so happy?" The girl reproached me, attracting everyone's attention, more than the two boys who seemed strange my attitude today.

"Harry helped me win a bet. From now on we're friends Potter, let's forget our initial differences, you've already made me win two bets, and I'll remember that" I said confusing the boy with the scar.

"You bet again! Was it with Parkinson? Did you ask for another hug?" Hermione complained about my gambling mania.

"No, jealous little girl" I told her, causing her to blush angrily and was about to refute me, but Ron asked before she had a chance.

"How much did you earn?" He is very interested in money.

"No money"

"none?!" x3 (Harry, Ron and Hagrid)

"Surely you asked for something very bad, right?" Hermione snorted.

"What did you gain then?" Harry asked now understanding why I was acting this way.

"Revenge against the Slytherin who hate me, I will say no more"

"I think that's fine, as long as you can teach them a lesson" Hagrid said that he is prejudiced against snakes.

"I have to go" I greeted them before leaving, the rest of the talk didn't matter to me and I had several things to do.

"Um… he must have done something wrong if he doesn't want to tell us" Hermione complained annoyed.

The others ignored me and Harry, still curious, asked Hagrid again about what happened on the Quidditch pitch and about Snape's guilt, his friends supported him at the time.

"I'm telling you, you're wrong. I don't know why Harry's broom reacted that way... But Snape wasn't going to try to kill a student! Now listen to me, all three of you, you're getting into things that don't concern you and that is dangerous. You forget that dog, and you forget what it's

guarding, that's between Professor Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel... "Hagrid clarified accidentally.

"Aha! So there is someone called Nicholas Flamel who is involved in this right?" His Excellency Harry.

Hagrid seemed furious with himself for not being able to shut his big mouth.

...

At night in the Gryffindor common room, the members of the Quidditch team were gathered together with other lions who came together to celebrate it, at the request of the Weasely brothers, who had been asked to hold this meeting.

At one point Hermione had received a message and went to open the door of the common room, when it opened I could be seen entering with a cart full of desserts and drinks (non-alcoholic). Several were surprised that I showed up and were about to kick me out, since it's not normal to enter someone else's house, but after explaining that I brought food to celebrate, they accepted it.

The girls from the team wanted to take it out on me when they saw me, but after an explanation that what I did was for luck and seeing that they won the match they forgave me, or rather they forgave me because the desserts I brought were extremely delicious, since I made them has ordered with the merchant.

Once I put things away I went and let them eat. The team was happy, my relationship improved, and I received forgiveness from the girls... it ended quite well, not forgetting that I won my bet.
