Toronto, Ontario. Canada
A province in Canada, a sports car with a super engine made in Italy, managed to travel no more than one kilometer from the airport. The car belonging to a prominent person in the city turned slowly as the gate opened, and what made the metallic silver thousand horse powered car look stylish when its owner came out wearing an all white outfit. The man with a height of 7.6 feet took off his glasses and then he left while telling his men to immediately do their work.
Robert walked effortlessly, as he entered the main door of his mansion. Then the man with a thin mustache immediately smiled broadly when he turned to where his wife, Persia, was already on the sofa sleeping and still sleeping with a beautiful face. Robert seemed impressed with the Indonesian woman who had become a part of him, but Robert quickly dismissed the thought. Robert doesn't want to rediscover what a relationship is, especially a love that will surely bring him down like one day ago.
Robert's first step was greeted by a middle-aged woman who became a confidant to fulfill Persia needs while in America. The pale English face smiled.
"I have prepared everything for, Mrs. Persia!" said Shandy Jackson.
"Including a wedding dress and... ,"
"He'll be awake in ten minutes! I'll tell you what else to do!" Robert cut off the conversation.
"Yes sir!" Shandy agreed then left.
When suddenly Persia's body squirmed, Robert could not look away and continued to pay attention to the appearance of a beautiful face without make-up. Although Persia beauty did not take long to captivate Robert's heart, the man who was grinning at the time tried not to care. Hilda's name always resonated, especially when her late wife's face stretched to fight fate, but could not survive because the crash of a Persia car killed Hilda in a matter of minutes. 'Fuck!' Robert's mind denounced as well as repeated the sad testimony.
Because Persia's face was too torturous and took Robert's time to prepare for the wedding, he left without taking his eyes off even though Persia's face was getting further away. Robert then forcibly pulled the cell phone hidden in his trouser pocket. Robert looked for the number of digits of his mother's cell phone number, then with a beaming face Robert waited for an answer.
The response of the soft and melodious voice had succeeded in suppressing Robert's emotions towards Persia. He smiled happily because his mother answered Robert's call.
"Hi boy, how are you? Oh... Two days like two decades I haven't heard your voice, have you arrived? Oh, I'm getting ready to fly to Canada and... Do you think you will get a welcome from Mother's daughter-in-law who must be very beautiful huh?!" asked the woman over the phone.
It's always been like that. Robert liked the part that Evelyn cared about him so much. "Mom, you will choke on air if you keep asking!"
"You brat! You don't know that mom has been waiting for a call from you Rob!" Evelyn was happy, because soon her beloved son would have a family.
"40 hours mom, that's a very short time!" Robert reproached then smiled again as Evelyn continued cursing.
The distance between New York and Canada is certainly very far for Robert to stay by his mother's side. And a few days ago, Robert visited Indonesia to finalize his intention to marry Hilda, but somehow a big disaster had stopped in Robert's life, also about the woman who just yesterday became his wife.
Robert was still enjoying the warm conversation with Evelyn, as he occasionally glanced at Persia. Robert wouldn't be able to tell that he had lost his real bride, but he still decided to introduce Persia to his beloved mother.
"When will mom arrive?" Robert couldn't wait for Evelyn to arrive.
"I'm on my way son," Evelyn coughed. "Tom will pick me up later!"
"Okay, be careful mom. I have prepared a beautiful room for you." The room was filled with wall hangings and vines. That's what Robert had prepared for his mother.
After chatting with his mother, Robert again drowned his gaze on the eyelids that were starting to open. Robert was silent while waiting for Persia to wake up after several hours of falling asleep by liquid anesthetic, all that Robert did so that Persia screams didn't deaf and, of course, drained his time.
For a few minutes, Persia groaned as her head felt dizzy, her back seemed to be buried by a heavy object, then slowly Persia got up by massaging the tip of her head.
Persia was confused when she saw the surrounding space, majestic and spacious. Persia had never seen a building with typical American ornaments before, even though she was guessing that she was no longer in Indonesia, but the heaviness in her head and back made Persia weak. Her gaze was still lurking, her voice sounded heavy because Persia endured the pain.
"Wake up!" Robert's voice always surprised Persia.
"You? Ah, I mean you! Where am I?" Persia tried to use English well, because she knew that Robert would not understand what she was talking about.
Again, Robert ignored Persia's question. He just turned his body, then soon Persia was confused when several women in all white dresses entered the room. Moreover, their faces were very beautiful with bouquets of flowers and jewelry items, as well as luxurious and elegant wedding dresses by Ralph and Russo. They took the time to welcome the arrival of Persia bowing their heads and then gently a special maid for Persia immediately brought her to the dressing table.
"What are you doing?" asked Persia, looking up at her surroundings.
There is no answer. They coded for Persia to shut up, without hesitation because they would completely turn Persia into queen overnight.
"Hey! What are you going to do to me?" Persia resolutely got up when someone started to style her hair.
"Let me go!" Persia suddenly resisted because he felt he did not need it all.
"We will only turn you into a prettier woman, madam," said Shandy. "We promise not to let you down at the party."
"Party?" Persia did not understand.
Yes, Party! Persia froze when her eyes caught the handsome face in the doorway. Persia just forgot something. Yes, something that Persia never thought before that she had married a foreign man.
Persia moved away from the reflection of the golden eyes that now languished in her mind, Persia did not dare when Robert approached and stopped exactly twenty centimeters away. Such a distance really torments Persian feelings, because the accident two days ago was now ringing in her head. Even though the Persians did not shy away and were about to take responsibility, the damp, dark and desolate shadow of the iron bars swallowed up the Persia's courage to admit guilt.
"Put on your dress, Miss! All the guests are waiting and I need not repeat that you are wasting too much time!" said Robert firmly.
Heavy! Persia held back tears, then she again hoped that Robert would close the case of Hilda's death.
"No marriage! You're just a shield for my status! And you remember Miss, you can't run away from mistakes!" said Robert savagely, then turned around.
"Why don't you turn around to kill me? Maybe it's a break even because..."
"Excuse me?" Robert stopped his steps, he turned to Persia. "Killing? I'm not a killer, Miss."
Robert's words were heard confirming that Persia had ignored the mistake. Persia then stopped devising a plan of self-defense. She was only able to surrender when Robert's back was out of sight. Then Persia was motionless on the sofa in front of the table filled with make-up tools. There is nothing that Persia needs to do now. All she has to know is that she is starting to feel the bars of a cage that will imprison her, who knows how many days or years and even forever Persia will wrestle with the status of a surrogate wife.
For almost two hours, Persia had to sit in silence doing nothing but smiling sweetly in front of the invited guests. Then Persia would feel chased by the sin of forty hours ago. Persia has not forgotten the testimony of Edo's betrayal, and now the figure of the woman in white dying will be a memory for her.
A lavish party in the backyard of Robert's mansion was lively. State guests include the warmth that Robert has released from his single life. Yes, absolutely stunning and hard to believe because Robert is known for his non-woman nature. Even Robert didn't know what a love life was about.
Hilda was the first woman to plant the seeds of love in Robert's heart, until their meeting led to marriage. But unfortunately, all the beginning of Robert's story has been completed. Yes, completely finished without him being able to imagine. Only the beautiful shadow of Hilda that sometimes appears but is solved by tragedy.
After feeling tired from today's party, Robert stepped out of the crowd to enjoy a meal. Then Robert walked towards the lobby with a searching look.
The feelings have not calmed down because Evelyn hasn't come yet. The call was only answered by voicemail. 'Where are you mom?' Robert's mind made sure, then he stepped further from the glass door. Not long after his search, Robert saw the beautiful face of his mother busy talking to Persia.
Just now Robert felt Hilda had undermined his power, but soon Robert killed prejudice because Persia managed to make Evelyn laugh out loud. A laugh that Robert had not seen before since the death of Joseph Luxembourg, Robert's identical twin brother. 'She's laughing again.' In his heart, Robert felt that he had found the unspoken happiness on Evelyn's face. But Persia and Evelyn's romance broke Robert's prejudice that could never create Evelyn's happiness again.
I don't know what they were talking about. Robert didn't know that and he just walked over to his mother, then with a habit that he said was a little naughty, Robert hugged Evelyn's waist and nuzzled his head into Evelyn's neck.
"Hi, sexy!" said Robert to his mother.
Evelyn immediately pressed Robert's dimple with his index finger. "Hi, lovely!"
"When did you arrive? Why turn off the phone?" Robert was curious as to why the woman he had always considered beautiful in the world kept his arrival a secret.
"About an hour ago! And sorry I forgot to tell you," Evelyn pressed a second time against Robert's dimples. "But that means I can know your naughty behavior, brat!"
"Mom, I'm not Joseph! And I'm not like that, remember that!" Evelyn was overreacting. Robert's attitude is not like his twin brother's.
"By the way, why did you leave Persia alone?" Evelyn asked again, not wanting to stop blaming Robert. A moment! Robert listened, because he didn't understand why Evelyn would say that. 'Persia?' In his heart, Robert guessed who Evelyn meant.
"It's very unfair considering it's Persia's first time in America, isn't it? What if she gets lost?" Evelyn snatched Persia's hand in hers.
Now Robert knew why Evelyn had called him a bad boy, as if a little boy had not followed advice. 'So this beautiful girl's name is Persia?' Finally, Robert didn't have to ask the woman in the blue silk dress that question. Robert thought it was enough if Persia replaced Hilda temporarily, before Robert revealed the specifics of his life to Evelyn.
Right now, Persia had to do the job of not telling the truth when Evelyn arrived. If not, then the man in a suit that matches the color of her dress will do something crazy. Robert's confidant has given a step and a way for Persia to be the Grand Lady of Luxembourg. Although Persia knew that Robert's plan was not only that, Persia wanted to be free from all demands. With the death of Hilda which has brought Persia in a drastic change, in a matter of hours that Persia did not know himself. It is true that this is not a responsibility, but Persia hopes that her mistakes will not be caught by her family in Indonesia. Persia awaits the moment when she is free from the case of someone's death.
Persia had felt that the night of the wedding party shook her mind. Because she found a woman as good as Evelyn, Persia felt a soft touch like her mother who was probably waiting for her. Yes, that's for sure! And last but not least, Persia's body trembled, when Robert's hard hands brightly wrapped around her waist, then his footsteps followed the rhythm of Jazz music. Persia couldn't hold back the excitement when she caught Robert's beautiful eyes, but she had to remain casual as they danced. The shaving marks around the jaws seemed to indicate assertiveness, requiring Persia to stay in the dance area.
"So your name is Persia?" suddenly Robert confirmed. Really! Persia couldn't catch her breath, but she was too good at controlling herself.
"You can think of it that way!" Persia quickly gave an answer, so as to quickly pass from Robert's attention.
"Then what's your real name, Miss? Maybe it's better than me feeling like dancing with a female cat!" Robert was frankly curious. Oh, that really sucks! Persia had a snort, but indeed he had to leave and choose to tell.
Oh, that really sucks! Persia had a snort but she had to leave immediately and chose to tell him, "I'm not a cat! That's just my father's opinion. I have a beautiful name. Claudia Pricilia!"
Robert tugged the side of his lips. 'Claudia Pricilia, what a beautiful name.' In his heart, Robert praised him just to make sure that the body in front of him was so charming. Taking light steps to the accompaniment of slow music, with a graceful dance in his arms, Robert forgot his ex-wife for a moment."I'm not a cat! That's just my father's opinion. I have a beautiful name. Claudia Pricilia!"
