"As expected, your room looks 10 times better than ours. Look! There's even an indoor pool! What the hell!" Kari pointed out as she grumbled in jealousy.
"Wanna play some Xbox?" Kain asked,
Kari's eyes lit up as she nodded vigorously, making her way over to Kain's side who was holding a white controller.
"Woahhh, did you buy every game Xbox had to offer?" Kari asked as she scrolled through the list.
Deciding on a game, Kain and Kari started to play. Completely forgot about the others.
~A few hours~
Kari snickered as she landed a final blow, killing Kain once again. Kari let out a victory cheer as Kain shouted in disbelief.
"Are you guys done playing? It's like 8 pm already. You guys should go back to your rooms and sleep. Cause we have to wake up early tomorrow." Arties said.
"Alright, alright. Let's go back, Amelia." Kari sighed dejectedly, having to part from the console.
~The next day~
Kari drooled as she stared at the food displayed on the table. "Ah...What should I pick..." She grabbed a plate as she walked around.
Kari took a second look at the food choices, finding many of them unrecognizable, sure, the food looked extremely pleasing and delicious to the eyes. But really...What was even all of this!?
She frowned as she looked at the food, hesitant to pick one.
Suddenly, she felt a hand placed on her shoulder, "Are you okay? You seem troubled." Kain asked as he looked at her questionably.
Kari stammered, "I-i, I never seen this food before....?" She scratched her head awkwardly.
Kain raised an eyebrow, "Never? Uh...How about I pick for you then? What do you prefer?" He took the plate from Kari as he asked.
"I'm not picky, you can just pick anything," Kari replied.
Kain nodded as he started moving from table to table, filling her plate with food.
Kain handed her the plate, "Here you go, I hope you like it." Kari thanked him, following Kain to the table where Amelia and the others were seated at.
Sitting next to Amelia, she immediately started eating, she was quite hungry after all!
×After Eating×
Kari wiped her mouth with a piece of tissue and toss it in the trash bin.
Getting up from her chair, she informed the others that she was gonna go back to her room to go get her bag for the expenditure.
~After getting her stuff~
-Kari POV-
"Kariiiiiii!!" Amelia called out to me, she was standing next to a black limo. I assumed the others were already in the car.
I made my way over to her, smiled and nodded. We got inside the car and I eventually fell asleep until Arties woke me up.
My eyes were sparkling as I look around the infamous crowded street.
We were told to go into groups and come back to the designated location.
Of course, I decided to go with Amelia and the princes. The street was extremely lively and many things were sold.
Mostly technologies or food, some souvenirs.
Walking around, I somehow got separated from the others and ended up on an empty street?
"Where the hell am I?" I said to myself as I look around, feeling not one bit nervous.
I decided to wall a bit further when I heard down kicks and punches....?
I look in the direction of the source and discovered it was from another alleyway.
'I just have been to another alleyway like a few chapters ago and another one appear? Author! Are you really that uncreative?' Yes, yes I am.
I shake my head as I cautiously made my way over there, tiptoeing over.
I look in the alleyway and saw 4 burly men surrounding a pastel green-haired man who was glaring at them and holding his arm.
"..."
I raised my hand and conjured up a ball of lava and tossed it towards the burly men. It hit one of their legs and they shriek loudly like a girl. Well, there goes their skins.
"...."
I made a deadpanned expression as I conjured up more and tossed it towards them.
They finally ran away seeing the lava ball I had in my hand. I was expecting a fight but okay...
I walked toward the green-haired man,
"Hey, you alright buddy?" I got no response.
Black lines appeared at the side of my face.
"Don't die aye. I don't wanna be charged for murder."
Still no response. I sighed as I called out to Isabella.
Isabella appeared at my side, "What do you need help with Master?" She said cheerfully as she bounced around.
Noticing the green-haired man, she turned to me. "Do I need to heal him, Master?"
I nodded and she turned towards him and held up her hands, a white light swirled out of her hand and surrounded his body.
The light then enveloped him and soon disappear. "Is he unconscious?" I asked.
Isabella nodded. "I see, you can go back now."
"Yes, Master!" Isabella twirled and jumped, disappearing into thin air. I sighed, looking at the extra luggage. 'Is there a hotel nearby?'
================================
Kari could have just let the man stay in her space room, but how was she gonna explain where he was?
And how awkward it would be if she just brought him out. Not really a good idea considering she wanted to keep her Void Powers a secret.
Sadly, she also forgot to contact the others who had just realised that Kari was gone and was panicking.
Good thing they didn't inform the teacher though. Kari would have been in one hell of trouble since they were specifically told to stay with their group.
After finding hitting the green-haired man on the head to make sure he stay unconscious longer, Kari tossed him in the space room, went off to find a hotel and got a room.
Sitting on the bed and looking at the green-haired man, she poked his cheek when she felt a slight movement from him.
Moving away, she saw him blink his eyes and made a loud groan. He turned his head to see Kari giving him a bored face and suddenly sat up. His eyes are cautious and alert.
He tried to speak but no sound came out of his mouth.
Kari snickered as she poured a glass of water for him and gave it to him to drink.
The man's face was bright red as he drank the water.
"Uh...Thank you..." He said with a hoarse voice.
Kari smiled, "No problem, what's your name?"
"Seyden." He answered, "Where am I? And who are you?" He asked, his eyes darting around.
"You're in a hotel room after I saved your ass, I'm Kari. A pleasure to meet you." He nodded and an awkward atmosphere rose again.
Kari coughed, "I need to contact my friends...Uhm, do whatever you want." Kari went off, taking out a phone as she made a call.
"KARIIIIII!" Amelia lunged towards Kari with her arms stretched out, hugging Kari tightly.
Her eyes were all red and her nose was stuffy. Kari patted her head as she turned to look at the others who were glaring at her and also showing relieved expressions except for Xlec.
"See guys! I told you she was fine. No one is gonna take her or injure her with that attitude of hers!"
Kari glared at Xlec who stuck his tongue out and made a seemingly 'sorry' expression.
"Besides that, who's that man on the bed?" Arties asked, pointing towards him.
"Oh? Him? I found him in an alleyway." Kari said nonchalantly as she quietly rubbed Amelia's back who was asleep due to her constant crying just now.
Kari put down Amelia on another bed provided in the room. "How much time do we have left?" Kari asked.
Kain looked at his watch. "3 hours left before 5." Kari nodded. "By the way, what's his name?" Xlec asked, curious.
"Seyden." Arties frowned, "A person from Archert?" Kari blinked, "Who?" She asked questionably.
"Considering his name, he's probably from Archert. What did his voice sound like?"
"Uh....Seyden, would you mind speaking?" Kari turned to look at him. He hesitated before he spoke a word.
"Yea..." Arties nodded, "Definitely from Archert."
"What is Archert anyway?" Kain asked. "Yea, I never heard of it before.." Kari said.
'Even in the game...'
"It's actually another country across the sea. I read about it in the library in my house. It had some documents on it. But the question is, what is a citizen doing here?"
Kari turned to Seyden. "Do you remember how you got here?"
Seyden frowned and shake his head. "No..." He softly said.
"That's gonna be a problem...what should we do? We can't exactly...bring him back..." Kari said. "Anyone got any ideas?"
Damon raised his hand, "I got an idea, you can just leave him here. I will contact the staff using my identity and let him stay here until the trip is over. Then we can come back here, pick him up and bring him back to school."
Kari grinned, "Alright."
"Seyden, do you mind staying here alone?" Kari asked gently. Seyden hesitated before nodding his head slowly.
"That's great!" Kari looks through her pockets, connecting them to her space room.
Pulling out a phone, she put in her number and the rest before handing it to him for use.
"Here. You can contact us and we will be right here to assist!" Kari said, smiling.
Seyden took the phone in his head and stared at it.
Kari patted his head, "Well, We need to go now. Don't go out okay? Who knows what will happen to you."
Kari picked up Amelia and they all left the room.
Seyden sat on the bed, staring at the phone. His eyes swirled with emotions. "I wonder...." He sighed and laid back down on his bed.
