I did try to smile but it looks scary even, I was scared, when one time I tried I saw myself in in mirror, it had been a long since I tried again in front of a mirror again.
I'm practising I think there is progress like about 2%. I can now do the smile but, it looks fake. so, it is better not to smile. let them guess my mood. it's getting so frustrating.
Xia pov:
I had no other way, I was scared of thunder, so came to dad.
mom acted weird after the day mom was talking to someone on phone then mom changed a lot.
tears filled his eyes... 'I catch those bad people one day but now I cant snick into the room so dont know who they are... '
author pov:
also at the same time, there was a big thunder! ...
xia started crying.
"..." Meanwhile, his dad is having a mental crisis. He was so confused about what he do that made the little guy start crying.
"Are you afraid of me ?" he blurts out what was on his mind.
Xia nodded his head
"is that yes or no tell me!" I asked him.
"No ... " Xia said looking down 'obviously lying'.
"Okay then come here" I patted the bed, signalling to him 'you-can-come-here' not scary as possible.
Xia came a little near the bed, more like he did a little jump due to the sudden thunder. his eyes are tightly closed when there is thunder, too scared of the thunder, he believes if he looks at the thunder he might become dust.
[what's one of the things Xia hates the most? thunder! ]
Xia tried to climb the bed two times but couldn't make it. he is trying but still can't reach. the heaviest thing he carried with him every day was his butt. which not letting him climb up the bed. seeing his son struggle he decides to help him.
he felt the little guy was having a hard time around him. hope everything turns out to be good in the future.
Xia covered himself in the quilt, he looks like a small rabbit 'cute' and soon both of them went into their sleep.
