Finished speaking, Kevin who was just about to enter, stopped walking when the man saw his best friend already sitting in front of the door with his eyes focused on them. The man probably just stayed silent without saying anything. But with a deep frown on the man's forehead, Kevin already knew that his best friend wasn't happy about something right now.
Evan's gaze continued to focus on his wife who still hadn't noticed her presence from afar because Maya was busy lowering her head. Evan lightly tapped on the armrests of his wheelchair, making Kevin unconsciously depressed just by that simple movement.
They just talked and exchanged smiles at the end of the conversation. Kevin thought, his friend couldn't have misunderstood them right?
