"It seems like you are awake all night, Miss Emy."
Avery and Jasmin were in the pantry, while Emy got coffee. "Blooming," Jasmin said. "Miss Emy, it looks quite different after watering."
"Haist, stop up," Emma replied, her face red.
Jasmin and Avery giggled. "You don't have to say anything; your face says everything," Jasmin said.
"Reed will hear you later," Emy said. "It's embarrassing."
Reed is in his office, hearing Avery and Jasmin's thoughts. Reed is well aware that they are teasing Emy. He couldn't take away her smile. When Maria arrived outside his office door, he got up and approached them.
"Maria," Reed began. "What are you doing here?"
"The Briones have a visitor," Maria explained.
"Who?" Reed asked.
"Princess Eve," Maria said.
"Damn it!" Reed said.
Reed suddenly vanished, followed by Maria.
