Reed was standing beside the window, looking at Emy. She was lying next to her youngest brother. Emy could no longer get dressed. She was still wearing a robe, and she had no bra underneath. Since she left the room, Reed has waited for her, but she has never returned. Reed discovered that Emy's brother was sick, and Emy watched over him all night. Reed watches Emy without her knowing. He saw how Emy would take care of her brother, who was eight years old. Every fourth hour, Emy wakes her brother up to give him medicine. Emy also checks the temperature and wipes his brother's body with a cold towel.
Reed didn't realize he was already smiling as he watched Emy. He suddenly realized that even if Emy were to adopt his child, she wouldn't abandon her future. Emily chooses her family over him. If Emy were his queen, he could depend on her and be certain he would succeed as king of the entire realm.
Reed approached the boy and touched his forehead. His temperature was still high. Should he fail to assist Emy, her focus will shift away from him, making him invisible. This would make it more difficult for him to claim Emy. As he touched the boy's forehead, Reed's eye color changed, and his fever disappeared. He lifted Emy, who was sleeping deeply and carried her to her room.
Emy woke up when she felt someone caressing her cheek. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Reed caressing a finger on her cheek while staring at her. Reed was also lying on his side with his head resting on his arms. Emy suddenly stood up in shock. She remembered she was in her youngest brother's room. She also looked at the robe she was wearing.
'Did he do anything to me?' Emy thought.
Reed's eyebrows rose as he read Emy's thoughts. "I told you I'd rather claim you when you're awake, so I did nothing to you, even though I wanted to after you left me last night," Reed said. "Did you know you just caused pain in my lower abdomen with what you did?"
Emy blushed as she remembered what had happened to them the night before. She hugged herself. She almost surrenders herself to Reed again.
"How did I get here?" Emy asked. "And Elijah is sick."
Emy quickly got out of bed and looked for clothes in her closet. Reed is watching her.
"He's okay now," said Reed.
"Is he okay?" Emy asked. "He doesn't have a fever anymore."
"Yeah, you took care of him last night," Reed said. "How can he not get better?"
Emy was carrying her clothes when Reed suddenly stopped in front of her. It surprised Emy because she had just talked to him in bed, and now he was in front of her.
"Where are you going?" Reed asked.
"I'll get dressed," said Emy.
"Do it here," said Reed.
"What?" Emy asked. She has never worn clothing in front of a man.
"Go get dressed, or are you waiting for me to get you dressed?" There was a mischievous smile on Reed's lips.
Emy just stood and stared at Reed. When Reed raised his hand, Emy quickly backed away.
"Turn around," said Emy.
"Why? I had a taste of you last night." Reed said it with a frown. "Do you still feel embarrassed?"
"If you don't do it, I'll get dressed in the bathroom," said Emy.
Reed chuckled. "Okay, fine."
Reed turned his back on her. "Close your eyes," said Emy.
"I've turned my back," he said. "Why do I have to close my eyes?"
"In the bathroom," Emy said.
"Fine," said Reed. He closed his eyes and folded his arms. "My eyes are already closed."
Emy untied her robe. Unbeknownst to her, Reed hears everything she does as if he sees it. Reed knew Emy had completely untied her robe's knot. He felt the robe fall to the floor, and Emy was now wearing her bra. With each move Emy makes, Reed takes a deep breath. Reed also noticed that Emy was wearing both pants and a dress. After finishing, Emy was shocked to find herself suddenly lying on the bed, with Reed holding her two hands above her head.
"Damn, Emy. Let's do this now." Reed said. "You are driving me crazy with your every movement." He didn't let Emy speak anymore.
With a kiss, Reed crushed Emy's lips and suppressed them immediately. His tongue traveled inside Emy's mouth. Reed's lips went down to Emy's neck, and he could hear Emy's heartbeat. And when she moans, it's like music to Reed's ears. He heated. He wants to claim her again.
"Ooh, Emy," Reed whispered. "I want you now."
When he lifted Emy's shirt, her breasts exposed themselves to him. He plays with Emy's bra until her nip reveals itself.
Emy couldn't help but moan. "Ooh.." She even lifted herself back to the bed. The sensation of Reed suckling tickled her. As a result of her actions, something gradually took shape inside Reed's body. She tried to express her desire to yank Reed's hair and even force his head into her breast, but she was unable to do so because he gripped her two hands.
"R-Reed..." Emy whispered in a seductive voice.
Reed's body warmed up at what he heard. Emy called his name in an enticing voice. Reed caressed Emy's body until it reached her abdomen, but he stopped. When they heard a loud knock on Emy's bedroom door, it distracted them. Reed immediately released Emy's hand.
Reed heard the commotion outside the downstairs room. Something happened to Emy's father.
"Something happened to your father," Reed said.
"What?" Emy immediately got up and approached the door.
Meanwhile, Emy's father was lying on the floor, unconscious. Reed glanced at Devin, who was standing just on the third step of the stairs, leaning against the railings and smiling. Emy's siblings and her father's housemate are present. They couldn't see them, so Reed immediately sat down and touched the older man's chest. He is still alive, but his heart is weak.
"Tatay!"
Emy hurried down the stairs and sat down next to the older man. She hugged her body.
"What happened to Tatay?" Emy asked. "Did you call an ambulance?"
"I already called the ambulance," Maria said. "The ambulance is coming."
"What happened?" Emy refrains from crying in front of the siblings.
"I think he had a heart attack," said Maria. "He suddenly fell while going down the stairs."
A few moments later, the ambulance came. Emy joined the medics, leaving her other siblings behind. They will still wait for their driver, whom Maria also called. Reed stood as he watched the ambulance pull away. Devin stood beside Reed.
"One down," Devin said, smiling. "There are four left."
"Stop what you are doing," Reed said. "I don't need your help, Devin."
Devin didn't respond, just laughing it off until he disappeared.
