Sixteen years later

"Mia, Matteo. Today is your first day in highschool. I am very sure you both do not want to be late." I called out as I picked up the keys to my range rover car.
It has been sixteen years since the Dynamites attack. But the memories still leaves on. Giovanni Martino did not survive, likewise Nicole, Dimitri and his son. Same with Diego. Carlos has hanged on for the past sixteen years, but he gave up the ghost last month. Both Stefania and Bruno are still in Coma, they were both on life support.
Leila was still alive, we were both badly hurt, but we survived. It was not the same for Bruno and Stefania. We all won't have survived if I did not keep on driving, we were lucky we were the one leading the other cars, we had little time to escape and I made sure of it. We were not able to go back to check or confirm if anyone survived.
