"So what's up?" Johnathan decides to probe how this conversation going to go.
"We need talk about why you picked me for empress." The look on Johnathan's face doesn't change much, but he realizes this is going to get personal.
"Why me is what I want to know. I'm sure you could have easily found someone else and that was better politically" Johnathan just looks at her, he currently thinking of his best excuse to get out of here. After a few seconds, he had an excuse.
"As much as I would love to talk about this, I'm going to go make sure the elven capital is still one piece." Johnathan then opens up a portal and hops through it. Ruby had opened her mouth, he closes the portal before he could hear anything.
While his journey to the capital was an excuse to avoid that conversation, he also was genuinely worried something happened. He was mostly concerned about whether or not they swung the blade indoors or not. He wasn't going to take the fall because they were stupid.
He teleports back outside, and looks through his eyes. When he looks inside, he doesn't see any major damage. He sighs in relief and decides to level up some more, maybe test his trump card. He was just going to fly over the ocean and fight whatever jumped at him.
After teleporting in the middle of the ocean, he makes a plate of ice, solid enough to hold his weight, and he waits. After around 3 minutes, he sense something coming from below him and he jumps up, switching to his true form as he jumps. When he looks down, he sees a massive eellike creature about a mile wide and 5 miles long swallows the ice he was just on. While in the air, Johnathan had decided on his game plan, and was getting ready to fly down. He switches Tsukuyomi to it's full moon form while adding midday sun Amaterasu, the blade crackled with black lighting, and he had the perfect way to defeat this monster and a way to test his newest sword technique, and start his own martial art.
He then drops down towards the monsters head at a breakneck pace, and swings his sword downward, with lighting striking the water, he goes for the neck area, the monster quickly ducks under the water. The blade suddenly stops, but the force behind the blade is enough to part some water and send a shockwave going out. This was Johnathan's newest technique, instant acceleration.
The monster then jumps up and tries to swallow him again, but Johnathan switches Tsukuyomi to new moon and uses it's element. The light from the surroundings are swallowed as the multiple shards scattered around the sky glow and eerie purple. When the eel is about to reach Johnathan, he teleports away and sends all the shards inside the it's mouth. It looks terrified as it tries to close it's mouth, but it was to late. The color returns to the surroundings, as Johnathan uses the blades to turn the eel into sashimi.

While harvesting the corpse, Johnathan suddenly feels an immense pressure from behind him, he could instantly tell he stood no chance. Not wasting any time, he opens a portal to his house, and goes inside. After escaping whatever was out there, Johnathan lies down on his bed and starts thinking about power, and how he's probably a frog in a well when it comes to power.
While he was thinking about this, he makes another brain. While he was making a brain he decides to look over his time mage skill tree, it was something he didn't feel like he needed to do, but that encounter was an eye opener.
