"Where are here to burst you guys. Idiot" James said blood dripping from the side of his mouth.
"Yeah". Ricky backed him up.
Rose and Joy were to hurt to talk. Well... Moose.. he knew better than to annoy the men, so he kept his month sealed.
"You losers think you get away with this?". James blabbed on.
"Of course. We know we are going to get away with it. We have Mr William Curry on our side. We work for him and guess what, Pineville's so called police officers can't stop us, we've bought them over".
"You shouldn't be telling them anything". One of the men said.
"Why not?. They aren't going to leave here forever. We'll kill and bury them just like we've always done".
That sent shivers down their spine.
"Ooh look. Pineville's little super hero is getting up". One of the men said as James struggled to get up.
"Maybe we should run for our lives while we still can".
The men joked and burst into laughter.
James had successfully gotten up at that time. Way to go James. You've just sentenced yourself to death.
Where should I start.....the height difference, the size difference, the men looked like they've got drugs in their brains...hard drugs, and James, he looked like a tiny carrot in front of a vegetarian giant ready to be devoured.
It was so obvious one of the men could crush him with one hand. Am not exaggerating. If I were, I'd say one finger.
"James, what the hell are you doing?. You wanna get killed?". Moose growled.
"No my dear friend. I just wanna tell this rat looking assholes that people are on their way here. And not just people, Soldiers from Smugville. They know you've been kidnapping people from their state and they are on their way here. Pineville's police officers can do nothing to stop them. And guess what they'll be here in 2 minutes".
What in the name of common Sense is James saying??.
But that did scare the men, they were aware about Smugville's well trained soldiers. If they were to stand with them, they'd be crushed. Smugville's soldiers were the best all over the country.
"Ohh and how did you tell them?".
"Well, this ain't my first time of being here. I know all your secrets".
Someone's got a large mouth.
Even Ricky, James side kick couldn't back him up.
Then Moose noticed something...or someone hiding close to a tree.. Apa.... how long has she been there?. Did she hear what James said?.
Moose silently hoped she doesn't do something stupid.
And then, a very loud siren started to sound. It was so loud. It sounded through the forest.
You should have seen how the men ran, it was as if their feet weren't touching the ground. They ran forgetting about their captured heros.
Although the children were bruised, they still laughed.
Then Apa came out of her hiding place.
James was speechless. He had merely bluffed out of anger and now there were actually soldiers in the forest. They have to get going.
"C'mon, let's get out of there" He said alerted.
"Come down dude" Apa said walking down to them.
"What are you doing here?. How did you get here?"
"Well, I couldn't sleep after you guys left so I decided to come after you. And bla bla bla, here and there. See what I did, when I heard James talk about soldiers, I played this really cool siren sound I had on my phone". Then they heard the siren sound again.
"You mean the was your phone?".
"Yep, that was all me. Smart Apa". She said proudly.
"pppphhhhoooooowwww" Keneti mumbled from where he was bundled.
"What's that" Apa asked.
"Ohhh. It's Mr Keneti".
Rushing to where he was tied. They removed a dirty piece of clothe tied to his mouth.
"Untie me right now and go back to your tents. Pretend all of this never happened and tell no one what you saw". He said harshly.
No way. The spirit of adventure had taken over them. They weren't going back to that tent until they found out what was in that shed.
They all looked at one another and the message was clear except to Apa.
They tied Keneti's mouth back to how it was.
"Don't worry Mr Kenn, we'll find out what's in that shed and help you burst your brother".
"What brother".
"We'll come back for you".
"Yeah but in the mean time, enjoy chewing that cloth and think about the mean things you've said to us".
They said taking turns to give him a light kiss on the cheeks."
They walked out.
Keneti was physically boiling.
"Now tell me. What shed?. What brother?. And why did you leave Mr Kenn behind?". Apa asked.
"Just follow us Apa. Just follow us" James said dramatically.
