"Wow! wow! wow!. Keneti. I never thought I'd see you again. What brings you here. Do you need money, clothes, or maybe food, or a new job. Bro just mention. Don't be shy, am rich now" Billy said loudly.
Trying to change the topic, Harry said "Son, I didn't know you'd be back today. Good morning. Have a seat". He pointed to a seat close to Keneti but instead Billy sat down close to his dad.
Silence.
Keneti had completely lost his appetite and was looking for the perfect excuse to give his dad.
"I have to go. There's a conference i have to attend". No that won't work, he thought.
"I have an appointment with the doctor". Yeah that's a perfect excuse...but on a second thought it's a bad idea. What if dad gets all curious and wants to know why he wants to see the doctor, and start asking questions or worse he insists he wants to go with him. And then knowing dad fully well, he knew he's going to involve Billy and then despite his disapproval he'd make him spend out of Billy money and that was the last thing he'd ever want to happen.so..... thinking of a better excuse.
Meanwhile, Billy was also putting together words of wisdom.....or maybe words of insult or of pain. The pain his brother had made him feel for years. He could recall that Keneti would always throw words of insult at him before and after every meal. Now it was his turn to get him back.
On the third side, Harry was hoping that maybe his two sons would settle whatever was in between them because frankly he couldn't probably see any reason for dispute. To him it's just a case of two brothers passing through a totally stupid and meaningless phase. But there's nothing he could do because they won't obey him.
But to Keneti it's a case suspicion. How did his brother because rich out of the blues.
And to Billy it's a case of payback. Revenge. He has the biggest urge to spank his brother with his money.
Keneti got up from his seat and said "I really have to go. I.....".
"wait!!! you can talk?. I thought poverty got your tongue. Oh maybe you didn't remember that this is my house and I deserve at least a tiny bit of respect".
"Oh Billy!!. You don't have to consider this things. You know how shy Keneti is. Honestly, I thought you too would be happy to meet again". Their dad said.
"Respect you say. I only respect those who deserves it. Not those that whose source of wealth is undisclosed". Keneti bluffed.
Billy seems a little shaken.
"Source of wealth?. Don't be ridiculous son. Please have your seat and..." Harry started to say.
Billy laughed steadily.
"I knew there was something in your throat. You know what it is?? it's jealousy. Remember all those years you've taunted me Ken. You thought I'd always be a loser but you were wrong. The dice was still rolling and guess what?, it favoured me".
"Don't forget the dice is still rolling". Keneti replied.
"So what??. You're expecting to be rich with your teaching job?...." Billy eroded with laughter.
"I know you got your money in a bad way. And trust me, I'm going to make sure i... "
"Enough!!" Their dad shouted.
Before anyone could say anything else, a knock was heard on the door and a dark, tall and hefty looking guy walked in. He walked into the dining room and went to Billy. He then whispered softly and waited.
Billy stood up and said "excuse me dad. I have to settle something".
Then he walked out with his associates.
"You know what you just did?. You made everything worse. Why do you always have to be the obnoxious one?. Yes your brother was once nothing but now he's everything, just deal with it and let things settle. Your ego is the size of a mountain and you know what ego does?. It destroys". Harry said angrily.
Keneti who was still standing and was completely lost said to his father without facing him.
"Your other son is a fraud and I know it. And am gonna prove it even if it's the last thing I do".
with that, he walked out.
End of the previous day flashback.
Back to Monday morning.
The incidence that happened the previous day together with the terrible weather put Keneti in a very bad mood.
His wish at that moment was that his students don't piss him off that day or else he'd have no choice than to transfer the aggression.
But the closer he got to school, he knew his wish won't be granted.
The only thing keeping him going is that he had overhead his brother say something about the Nage Forest and he knew for sure his brother was hiding something there.
He recall hearing "kill both of them and bury them there. Tell Aanid and the rest to remain in the Nage Forest. I'll settle everything else. And tell them by next week we'll be moving our things out of there. Am tired of this interruption".
"Mr Smith also said..."
"Tell him his needs will be attending to. Just do something to make him calm down"
