"Mash"

Billy batson whispered, his voice noticeably possessed a notch deeper timbre than before, but he paid no mind to it as he checked over mash's state 'luckily nothing's broken' he gratefully mused 'but…' he trailed off as he raised her face and meticulously cleansed off the blood that rivulet down her lips.

To say he was livid was an understatement, even though the meeting with the Grecian hero was for his own good, he was still possessed a quality amount of grudge against the hero, and most of all at himself.

The demi-servant flustered a little at her master's actions "m-master…"

"Am so sorry for not being here on time mash" the Chaldean master said contritely, his face covered with self-remorse "and not being there for you when you needed me the most"

"No master" mash quickly intercepted as she try to play it off "it isn't your fault, it is all as a result of the circumstances, and after all the only reason, I and caster could fight this long is because we had faith that you would come…" the hand that cupped his cheeks tightened "and here you are caster and our faith wasn't founded on faltering foundations"

Billy turned sheepish at her words of faith in him it was just too much, as he settled her on her feet he cleared his throat before asking "and where is cu chulain, what have happen to him…."

Mash turned poignant as she replied "I don't know master last I saw him…" she trailed off assuming the worse... That is until another voice intercepted her deduced hypothesis.

"Oy-oy don't just start assuming the worse here" the voice groused as we turned to the form of the celtic hero trudging towards us as he favoured an arm "just because am a caster doesn't mean am suddenly not a fighter. The heavens will flip themselves over when I am not able to absorb an attack as worse as that…" his sage motif looked ruffled with sooth in some places but he was thankfully alright.

"Caster!" mash perked up in obvious relief.

The ulster style hero grunted back, before wincing applying pressure on the injured arm "but even so what a monster that heracules, to go through both of us that quick…" he paused before turning to the Chaldean master "and even you more so to kick him just like that" he turned whistling impressed as he gestured at the congested row of buildings a few meters from them now sporting gaping holes "… not to even mention the strength it carried, pertaining the fact of the obvious image change… I just have to ask billy batson, are you an incarnation of heracules?"

Mash nodded in agreement as she tilted her face up seeing the much more drastic image change her master had undergone. His height had been added one more foot, making him a stunning seven foot plus, his hair grew out giving it an appearance of a full lush black mane, than a stretched hair, and his eyes cerulean blue seemed to glow even despite of the flames that surrounded them, his face…. She felt her face grew hot, his face seemed to appear even more handsome, but in a more rugged way. And that wasn't most shocking, no that belonged to his state of dress, his torn singlet was completely no were to be seen as his added frame outgrew it exposing his compact chiselled body abs grated in tattoos that depicted different mystical creatures and mysterious designs, just at the left side of his chest area down to his stomach pecks was the image of what seems to be a multiple headed serpent.

'Definitely the nine-headed hydra' she mused, his pants while stretched miraculously did not tear at billy's apparent mass increase, she speculated it was as a result of the magical enchantments imbued to the cloth wear, but that wasn't all; a black and golden shroud that hadn't been there before was wrapped around his waist by a brown belt, silver greaves adorned his legs, bracelet dark with silverish white at it rims on both his arms and… is that a sword?… mash kyrielight blinked rapidly trying wrap her head around how her master had come into the possession of such a weapon, it had the appearance of an greatsword tall enough to almost reach her height! Its blade was made of an unknown metal but its dark gleam almost seemed to suck out the light produced by the blazing inferno around them, on its rain guard she could faintly spot the symbol of a jagged lightning bolt, the grip suggested it was a two handed sword but the way he held it with one hand ideally fitted him.

All in all if someone had called her master a servant, and she had no prior knowledge she would agree as well while adding that he was definitely an absurdly powerful one 'the presence that I had first felted from him is more stronger than ever, not to mention that it also felt… maybe the word would be stabilized' she noted to herself 'as astounding as it might seem I can't just call billy-kun a normal human after all this'

The said master looked down catching the scrutinizing gaze of his demi-servant, which caused him to smile and shot a wink back at her causing her to turn into a spluttering mess.

He barked an energetic laugh, before turning to the caster class "nope just plain old billy batson"

Cu chulain scoffed "and am an old body rubbing witch" he shot back sarcastically wincing at his sudden movement aggravating his injuries, before he continued "spare me the tall tales kid, if you haven't forgotten I am also a demi-god. The presence of your divine father in you is just as strong as when I was alive…" he paused for a bit his eyes widen a bit more "… nope make that even stronger, and I don't even know how that's even possible! There's no way you're not him"

Mash assented caster's words "I agree with caster master, you feel too… divine to actually feel like a normal human. Even the presence I felt the first time even felt stronger"

Before he could reply, a mighty pressure fell upon the group. Berserker's coming.

More than one hundred meters away from the group, a twenty four storey high rise collapsed.

TMMGO

Some few minutes ago

The beast laid eyes closed, dormant under the weight of the large pieces of rubble, over a hundred plus tons straining against its very existence.

The one it had seeks for had arrived, and there was only one thing that h could have gleamed by the one shrouded in flames, 'strong', plain and simple. As it being what it was it only had three instincts.

If the enemy was weak, destroy without mercy, unless its master says otherwise.

If the enemy was strong, attack fiercely but let its own instincts guide it.

And if the enemy was overwhelming powerful, attack with wild abandon until the very end.

The one it seeks fitted the third category, so much that for the first time since it had been summoned it had felt some sort of 'apprehension', yes it knew that if he faced him as he is now, it won't be a battle… no-no… a 'one sided slaughter' would be a most fitting term… for the beast that is, and funnily enough it was happy with that…..

Although how it wished to had faced him at its full potential….

And that was when it felt it.

Mana… an overflowing amount of mana was being pumped into its core, but from where? It doesn't know, but with this much it could actually release it.

The legend of the one the mad beast dons goes like this; each of the twelve labours it had performed was a deed covenant of immortality, an 'extra life' for a simple term and with each lives granted gives him immunity over what had caused his demise before. But unknown to all who had researched over the fame of the greatest hero in Greece now turned beast, was a small hidden loophole that granted him lives up to thirteen!

But that required just one thing, the sacrifice of his total divinity; the absolute immolation of his divine core. When he had been alive he dared not to do something like that because doing so would have ruined any chances of seeing his family in Elysium, with the queen goddess Hera perpetuating it as an insult to the very status of the gods, creating fallouts between him and Zeus. But now… now…

It had no such restrictive resolutions… arcs of red lightning coursed over its form as it began its act of self-burning. Growls escaped its mouth as the pain began. No flames had risen from its body but even so it flesh began to boil, his shimmering heat was a fervid ebullitions that turned the covering debris into orange slags as they slimed around him… the weight of the entire building began to vibrate from the flex of its strength… and then it all abruptly ended… it is done.

The beast of Greece has regained its no… his identity as a person back, he knew not what his name was but neither did he care, because even though he had regained his full strength as a berserker class, he knew he wasn't strong enough to go against him. So he went even further.

The parameters of a berserker's madness influences its class a lot, stats from B rank below, only induces anger towards something, someone or an event, but does not provide much else. From A rank above a berserkers experience an absolute increase of stats but the caveat would be loss of self and a full turn instinct for destruction, ultimately making them difficult to control depending on their magic resistance. Berserker original madness status was A rank but was scaled down to a B rank during tis summon for proper control, and even though he could had release such a flimsy bind if he really wanted, he left it because of his master…. But now, for this one fight he shall descend into the abyss of madness once again.

And this time fully, and while it wouldn't be as he hoped for… it will be enough.

The sense of self regain was gone, as he donned the mantle of beast once again… his eyes cranked open exposing a shining ruby, his mana exploded at high levels, he took a deep breath and what came out was…

"...…..!!" an apocalyptic earthquake.

TMMGO

The group looked on with different gamut of emotions on each of their faces, cu chulain looked on with levity in his eyes, the demi-sheilder mash could barely stand at the sudden permeation of ferociousness in the air, while her master looked on inured only his eyes narrowed at what he felt.

"So he can still scrapped up this much huh" he muttered with begrudging respect "well that's the mightiest hero of Greece for you" he turned to the group and began to instruct "berserker's coming and I can't fight him with you guys around" he paused for a moment as he found the connection with mash, he looked at his servant and asked.

"And mash if I send for you more than enough mana, would you be able to patch yourself up?" he inquired.

The lilac nodded while confused at the question, before she could open her mouth to ask why, she felt it.

A sudden rush of mana, greater than even her own mana boost filled her body like an energising drink, she closed her eyes with face flushed almost wanting to moan as she felt all her internal injuries slowly dissipate and body numbing like it was never there before.

The caster huffed impressed by what he had seen "the healing of a heroic spirit through the use of mana rush eh. Are you sure you're not him" he pressed.

The master sighed raising his hand "here…"

The caster arched an eyebrow as he looked at the said hand "and why are you giving me your hand?" he questioned.

The Chaldean thumbed at his demi-servant who was beginning to calm down "do you not want a mana boost or not…" he groused, before showing his hands again.

The caster looked at the girl as she had already calmed down before accepting the hand. Billy slowly closed his eyes as he forced the mana inside of him towards his arms transferring it to the celtic hero, cu chulain sighed was briefly taken aback at the mana boost for a brief second and most important of all he could feel the Chaldean kid's divine core that was only present in demi-gods.

Releasing his hands he was pleased to find out that his internal pains were gone, and mana gauge surprisingly filled to the very brim. But then he scowled again internally spieling profanities to all the gods he knew, that he had been summoned as a caster class.

'And am not even a big user of magic' he grumbled in his mind before calming down. Looking at the ki… no his fellow demi-god he muttered a quick thanks.

"No problem, now you two leave quickly, am sure you both can feel it by now… he coming and this time he's going to fight with all that he has… let me deal with this" he said.

Mash looked at her master not happy with what he had said, and so with a quick shake of the head she replied "no master let me stay and fight with you" the master looked at her incredulously.

"Mash look at what he did to you! It's obvious you're no match for him now, please mash. Leave this to me, I've got this…."

But she shook her head headstrong about this "but even so let me fight by your side please…" she replied back stubbornly.

Billy batson had more than enough reasons for not letting his servant… his friend from joining him in battle. But 'let me fight by your side' who could say no to words like that, and the way her eyes looked as she said those words. The eyes they say, are more than capable of saying a thousand words and mash eyes showed that no matter what she wouldn't let him fight this alone… even though he knows for sure that he is stronger than him. But he couldn't help but laugh with mirth at her implied thought 'what an over-caring girl you are mash. But that is why I expected nothing less from you… well maybe you might be able to activate that little thing I had sent to you through the link, this early' he contemplated for a moment before sighing in resignation.

"All right, all right mash, you win" the girl brightened at his acquiescence, the Chaldean turned to caster who nodded in understanding "yeah, yeah someone's going to have to watch the white haired lady… and that someone's unfortunately gonna be me" he turned in preparation to leave before he paused as he reiterated again "so billy about my question are you him or not?"

The thunderous sound of berserker echo far ahead but the master unperturbed scratched the back for his head searching for a master "well... if you are asking about the fact of me being an incarnation of heracules, well am not… I just fully inherited his power"

"Well what of the divine core I had sensed in you" the caster motioned back waiting for an explanation.

The lush mane shrugged "well that's the thing, remember I said fully inherited his power I might not be heracules, but that doesn't change the fact that I am a full blown demi-god, that is in his likeness"

To call cu chulain stunned would be under playing it "y-y-you…." He trailed off as he finally got the gist. Somehow the kid no he corrected himself yet again the master seems to have been able convert the full powers of a demi-god for his own, by lugh. If this was still the age of the gods there would be a riot and at that he bent bursting out in laughter "hahahahaha… by the gods you really are a wonder, billy! To become a full blown demi-god! And without any clear sign of a negative backlash at that!" he guffawed for a few moments before standing straight the laughter had left his mouth but the smile still on his lips "well this era's not gonna be ready for you, I assure you of that" he turned and crouched "well then may your upcoming battle shine favourably upon you…" he threw a meaningful look at the live demi-god "not that you even need it" and shot away.

Billy twitched at caster's word before his attention turned to his servant who gave him an intense queer look "well mash…" he asked, waiting for her to speak up what was in her mind "so how do you take the news about your master being a demi-god"

The girl blinked before shaking her head lightly replying back with fervour of determination still as presence as before "even if billy-kun's a full god I'll still want to be at your side"

The demi-god smiled facing forward to hide his rising blush "well then mash, you're sure you can keep up" he needled.

"Not keep up billy-kun. Protect" was her reply

A few hundred meters away from them berserker was in sight.

His form completely changed, his body completely was covered in thick blood cloak of intense mana only leaving him with an appearance of a beast like entity, his eyes shined ruby even through the covering, and with his axe sword looking like it was dripping blood.

The cerulean eye master walked ahead of mash showing her his back, the tattoo of the Nemean lion boldly showcased and activated his own shroud 'this will do for now, while I wait for her' he concluded before turning to his servant "allow me begin to first mash… I'll take the first crank"

Mash nodded back while marvelling at her master's apparent mana boost 'or maybe it's a burst' she mused probably of its intensity, it had the appearance of blue flames and an odd scent of ozone, probably due to his heritage. The power he emanated was something she had never felt before and something in her mind told her that this wasn't even the half of it' she banished the thought as she tightened the grip on her shield handle this time she won't falter.

"Don't make me wait long" she looked at her master at the surety of how he said those words 'he believes in me' her heart jumped at the thought, and she nodded back happily, as her master strode forward ahead….

...…..

Billy batson's gait was that of a champion, his sword trailed across the pavement leaving sparks and a fine mark, on the tar road. But his eyes did not hold the kind light he had previously spoken to mash with 'he truly is different' he mused as he disregarded the looming sight of the titan. He had hoped that maybe just maybe there would be a way to settle this amicably, that he would not have to… kill again because if he begins now, he wouldn't know when to stop, and the thought of how every things has to be solved by killing terrified him. But looking at the mad titan, he knew that he was just too late. It might be as a result of his demi-god status being closely tied to heracules, but he knew that the being before definitely isn't the Greek hero, what lays ahead is nothing more than a boosted shell that holds nothing more than an innate propensity for violence and destruction.

'But finishing off my spirit of madness is the best thing you can do for him, as he is already far too gone'

The words of his predecessor, rang clearly his head, 'maybe his's right…' he forlornly thought 'maybe it is too late…' but, he looked into the eyes of the raging beast that began to slowly move towards him, and boldly proclaimed.

" I AM BILLY BATSON; HEIR TO THE MANTLE OF HERACULES, THE CONQUERING DEMI-GOD… AND I STAND BEFORE YOU NOW, BEAST IN A BATTLE TO THE DEATH… SO WHAT SAY YOU"

The Chaldean demi-god reply was a thundering roar to his face, and the back hunching of the behemoth in a shooting poise, but he still smiled at that "while it'll still be painful for me to kill you" billy batson said as he unconsciously took a tail guard, with a knee bent forward "… fighting you at your very best… is more than I can hope for" he finished with a battle lust grin.

The beast and the demi-god both turned into comets of red and blue, heading towards each other, both breaking and surpassing the barrier of sound. One with a scowl and the other a grin, with an axe sword swung down and with a great sword swung up, an earthquake rocked out for miles…

Meanwhile...

Back with olga marie, seeing that she was practically all alone, only with the protection of a barrier that provided nothing more than a notice-me-not bounded field. She decided to reopen communications back with Chaldea. And began acquainting the head doctor over what has happened.

Romani leaned back on his seat and sighed "so billy-kun is a descendant of heracules huh" the backgrounds of his co-workers went to nil on the Chaldean employee.

The director sighed as she absently adjusted for the furry pet currently nestling on her shoulder "you're telling me… even now I can't still believe it. But well it seems like caster was right for waiting for him, now all just hope for is that he isn't too late" she concluded before her face took on a more serious turn "so romaine archarman, what's the current situation back at Chaldea"

The pink haired doctor sat up as he replied back "well everything's going smoothly, the few mages present, are currently fixing the damages in the control room and they are about…" he trailed off as he peeked overhead "around eighty five percernt done" he estimated likely checking the situation before he continued "after you all return, then can we focus on the other areas"

The director nodded before slowly asking with a small pinch of hope "and what of professor lev"

The doctor shook his head negatively "still no sign of him yet… director am afraid, as of now his status cannot just be considered as missing, as with each passing moments his injuries only increases his probability of d-…"

"That's enough of you head-doctor!" she cut in sharply starring daggers at the man behind the screen, but didn't hold it for long, as he was only a man doing his job "sorry about that" she apologized "it's just that I wanted to hope, t-that may be…" she trailed off trying to stern her expression, the animal patted at her in comfort, before she looked and threw at small smile patting it back. With her comfort regain she was about to address the doctor when she noticed the presence of caster entering the dome.

The white haired mage couldn't handle it any longer as she turned beginning to fire question upon him "what's the status of the battle? Is it going in your favour? How's mash? Where's mash? Have you seen billy-kun? How's the situation over there?"

"Ok-ok stop now before you finish off with your nagging" cu chulain hastily backed off while raising a hand intending to get the woman to shut up "everything's ok, I was just about to get you there anyway" he commented as he went towards her and picked her in a bridal carry.

"w-what are you doing casterrrrrahhhhhh!!!!" her sputtered puzzlement cut off, over the sudden rush of air. Caster had jump off the building high in the air with the mage in tow "what are you doing you dolt!" she shrieked at him. The caster eyebrow twitched at the insult but did not rise to the bait "what does it seem am doing princess…" he replied back in satire, before sighing as he landed on another building continuing his strides "it'll take too long to explain to you everything and you would not even believe me. So, we or rather I need to see the new demi-god's first blood battle, so that you'll see it yourself"

They landed on a building as the heroic mage let down the disoriented master who stood unsteadily in the course of all the jumps caster took; the Chaldean coms were cut off… again. By some sort of miracle the pet fou hadn't fallen even after all that had happened… but still... She let an air in exasperation, glaring heatedly at the target of her ire "caster you… wait" her mounting tirade paused as she instantly latched on one of his words "who were you referring to as a demi-god just now?"

The caster gave a smug grin that she really wanted to punch off before, as he pointed at the streets far ahead. With the usage of reinforcement magecraft, her enhanced eyes glowed as she could see the sight of two figures radiating a surfeit amount of mana, it was so much that she just wanted to collapse under the sheer weight. She could also spot the gossamer blue glow that she had first saw billy radiating before, her thoughts reaching a conclusion so absurd she could almost laugh at it…. almost, but still, her asinine thoughts only thoughts, until a loud voice quaked out.

" I AM BILLY BATSON; HEIR TO THE MANTLE OF HERACULES, THE CONQUERING DEMI-GOD… AND I STAND BEFORE YOU NOW, BEAST IN A BATTLE TO THE DEATH… SO WHAT SAY YOU"

The words of billy batson made the mage gape like a fish out of water, her thoughts in total disarray. As she made a movement to scratch her hair, the animal dodged jumping away as it trotted towards hedge to watch the upcoming battle.

The sound of laughter from the celtic hero broke her from her madden ravings, causing her to glare at him. Unaffected he spoke out with a knowing grin "so what did I say, impossible to believe right?"

Olga marie disregarded him turning her attention to the two now apparent demi-gods as they disappeared at each other before the building tottered in a passing earthquake, only one thought passed her mind 'I give up, this is all total bullshit'….

TMMGO

The battle of the two demi-gods kept on revving even more as they fought. Their forms changed into comets of blue and red as they moved bouncing all around the city roads and buildings, producing sonic booms in their wake. For every time they zigzagged and intersected what was produced was the akin to the sound of thunder.

Cars flipped over from their wind pressure, building glass panes within metres proximity busted turning into fine grain, and pavement erupted every time they met. The demi-gods busted out into another one of the major streets still within the metropolis, but were miles away from where they had first fought.

CLANG!!

BOOOOM!!

The sound of swords met once again, but this time the two beings of divine calibre were at an impasse, and the weight of their attack spider webbed the asphalt. Sparks showering at both the two swords point of contact as they shoved against each other in a battle for dominance.

"Hnnn….." billy grunted as he strained to push against his opponent, in a power contest. But all he received was an ear shattering roar directly to his face. Even as deficient as the beast was, it was still a part of heracules. Although,

'His strength' he noted as his hands lightly bent concededly 'when we're both like this. It seems like his strength surpasses mine…' before he flared his mana burst and sent him back 'but only by a small margin…' he fell back for a moment before resuming in the death battle with the beast in blood like aura. Their blades whistled loudly as they tore the air regardless of inertia with trails of red and blue in its wake.

CLANG!

Their sword dance took them moving around each other seeking to gain advantage, and alas an opportunity was revealed in battle… for the berserker that is. The Chaldean demi-god threw an overreaching attack that was deflected by the Grecian beast striking the earth below leaving him wide open.

"...…!" an up swiping bisecting sword attack from the class of madness was met with a quick block from the Chaldean master, while the parry luckily saved the new born demi-god from being torn into two, it also exposed his midsection for the mad beast to take advantage of…. and boy did he take…

A quick twist and a shot out feet sent out an attack straight to the Chaldean's torso. The master gagged out saliva, before he was sent away with a sonic producing force, three hundred and forty six metres in the air over an apartment storey that was over four kilometres away.

Seeing that his opponent wasn't there the beast of madness pursued in hot speed, a few running steps and an earth cracking jump sent him just as high as he had sent his opponent.

".....!" a reverberating bellow announced his presence to his adversary of his coming. At the peak of his semi-flight, berserker's eyes spotted a glint of light and just like that his instincts blared at him to take action. The mad beast of Greece obviously did not possess the capability to dodge and even if it did his current madness would had prevented him from doing so.

Immediately he stretched his arms, his vision was filled with the sight of an arc of crackling light of over twenty five metres in height, heading straight towards him at near hypersonic speeds with a quick side lash; he was hastily saved from probably being fatally lacerated into two. The two half of the arc still kept their momentum as they kept trailing upwards in the air being exploding with a thunderous sound and a flash of light.

But unfortunately, the force of the arc propelled him higher and to make it even worse he still saw more incoming lightning like arcs being sent at him like waves "...…!" but he was the beast of madness, at his core ' endurance' and with a challenging roar.

He began to cut…

And cut….and cut… and cut…..

He had slashed more than eighty of those lightning fast arcs, before he felt a huge shadow covering his sight, eyes still flash blind from all the lights he cuts it without prejudice, only to reveal it wasn't a sent arc of light, no, what it was sent was something it had no knowledge of… it was an fuel tank trailer filled with fuel to the brim with its capacity.

At more than an elevated position of approaching five hundred metres in the air, a fuel tanker was lobbed at extreme speeds at the berserker. The force of his swing caused sparks in the engine as it touched the exposed processed natural resource. For the beast, just as it had bisected the tanker the space was filled with extreme heat, leading him to bear the full brunt of the explosion.

BOOM!!

And unlike the arcs of lights, where they exploded far away from him, he took this one right in the face. But he was given no chance of respite as in the midst of the fiery fumes a loud shout was heard.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!" the Chaldean demi-god was revealed high in the air with his sword charted for a downward chop; apparently billy batson had hidden just behind the tanker he had thrown, in order to strike at the opportune moment, and that time was now.

"Ohhhhhh!!!!"

"...!!" the a quick shift, the sound of metal resistance caused an air distortion that cleared away the flames, while berserker had saved himself from being sliced into two, he still couldn't protect himself from the full force of the attack, leaving diagonally away from the pieces of falling junks. The reclamation of gravity with the added force of the Chaldean master sent both the demi-gods into trailing meteorites speed of red and blue, their impact tore holes through two adjacent buildings collapsing them from their floors above as a result of the passing shockwave, only stopping at the floor of the third one at different locations.

Billy batson upon impact on the seventeenth floor, gave a smooth roll and crouched before slowly standing up, he founded himself in a work office, he deduced based on the cubicle he saw around, but 'where is he…' he scanned around for who he had been fighting only for his enhanced ears to pick up the sound of walls being mowed down, at quick speed. He clenched his weapon hard, as it began to give off incandescence white lustre, with sizzling arcs of lightning occasionally sparking off.

The floor underneath him ruptured as the crimson wisp form of berserker lunged at him, but he flipped dodging in mid-air while swinging at him from afar, sending out the dazzling arc from before. But at this range berserker body swerved it, turning to a red blur as it appeared before the Chaldean demi-god and threw a powerful haymaker at him, billy quickly shifted into a defensive stance, but wasn't fast enough, the more faster ponderous punch impacted against his cheek jaws.

BOOM!

An air wave pulsed out fracturing all the windows of the floor, forcing both combatants, three floor lower. As they fell the beast of Greece tried to keep on the advantage but the Chaldean wasn't having any of it, he parried a sword swing before pulling the enemy god by the arm and digging into him, with a knee to the torso hard, billy's aqua-marine aura flared up as he used more force than before turning be his opponent into a human bullet crashing him out through building in the floor of another building straight ahead.

BOOM!!

And if that wasn't enough, with a loud shout, he began swinging his sword rapidly at the thrown spirit sending out white arcs at hypersonic speeds.

The mad beast gave out a discordant roar at the approaching arcs of destruction as they carved through the building like butter heading towards him without any loss of speed, his hand turned into blurs as he swung madly at them, all in the span of four seconds, and then the building started to rumble.

The force of both his blows and the arcs had ripped the building apart right from its foundations.

Berserker rushed out in the form of a red streak out through the building into the other, smashing against the master who had been dashing at him, with both their swords striking against the other. Due to the beast ultimately having more force than the new born demi-god, the corrupted servant sent both himself and the living demi-god out again, this time down the earth below.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOOOM!!!

They were flung smashing through buildings as they fell, only this time, they didn't possess the amount of kinetic energy as they had before at the first fall, so no building collapsed this time. The forms that were covered in dust cleared as they both found themselves at the streets once again in-between buildings that were sixty metres away from each other.

They both gave out roars rushing to the other, as they began to swing their swords furiously at each other.

"Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!!!!!!!!"

"...............….!!!!!!!!!"

With their screams reaching a fever-pitch, they swung, even faster… and faster… and faster… and faster… and then.

Their world turned white.

...…..

Miles away from the battle, the reactions of the rooftop spectators were of varying reactions. The ulster style hero folded his as he watched the battle carry out from afar, and for not the last time cursed the beings of higher powers for summoning him as a caster 'by lugh, I can't even see them any more' and for a fighter such as him who was known also for his speed, a part of his skill with the spear and that itself that was something, although, it could attributed to his body parameters. But if his teacher could hear him whining at this thought.

' Sentata…' an apathetic female cool voice called out slowly.

He unconsciously shivered, he refuses to even continue that line of thought; all the old memories were already painful as it was before. To think of the training schedules, that the evil old hag would cook up for him now… it would just be plain masochistic.

But still he mused with a grin appearing on his face, as he saw the lines of blue and red falling from the burning sky impacting and collapsing the buildings 'this is what you call a battle' he praised internally 'a speed that's comparable or maybe even surpasses mine as a lancer, the strength to casually uproot buildings' he continued as he saw arcs of light launched at speeds considered blinding to him 'and their fortitude, I would have loved to fight someone like you billy' but then he tilted his head bemused 'why even so. Why is he fighting like that, it feels so restrained, like he's still… holding back' he slowly widen his eyes at the incomprehensible thought, before his grin grew into a full blown smirk, as his eyes spotted the illuminated form of sheilder approaching the present site of battle 'oh-ohhh, I see now, but if it's true…' he placed a hand on his chin, pondering at the thought, before breaking out in a fit of crazed laugh starling the occupants, the squirrel like creature already on the mage's shoulder as it could no more see the battle while the mage could only inch away from him cautiously, but he was unperturbed as his eyes glowed in the flames "you were are a wonder, billy" he said with a fanged smile.

Meanwhile the mage having given space to now returned her attention back to the battle… that is if you can even call it that, the only thing her enhanced sight to register was the two comets impacting each other at the start of the battle and that was over ten minutes ago… 'and just in ten minutes…' she tailed of as her eyes took on the buildings that were destroyed just like that and the skies that seemed to have exploded with flashes of lightning and fire, and then the two streaks of colours falling down. Calling it a battle would be downright insulting….

This is a war…

For not more than once, she had feared that the building she stood upon would collapse at the violent tremors that passed through it 'what are you billy batson' she raged internally, 'are you really a demi-god' she dare to think, but each passing moment only seem to add credibility to the thought. And if that were true she couldn't even begin to comprehend, what it would mean, for the moonlit world as a whole; if this was a once in a root-damn coincidence. Then billy batson would become one of the new focal point of the mage world, and if billy-kun decides to stay with Chaldea… that would mean the absolute turning point and the start of her meteoric rise in her power standing in the mage association, but a pessimistic thought arose within her, admonishing her, telling her to give up hope; of what she might even be able to offer him, that the other lords cannot offer even ten times, no, hundred times more, she gritted her teeth before clearing her head 'No one thing at a time olga marie animusphere' she chided herself 'the singularity first, then the matter of billy-kun second' after all one cannot reap the benefits, when they're dead after all.

She winced as she deduced the sounds of both the combatants. The berserker seemed to merely roaring while the sound of the other, which was her Chaldean demi-god employee, seems to be… laughing? She unconsciously touched her ear, unsure if her auditory organs were messing with her, only for another bizarre sight shape into being before her very eyes.

"i-is that a tornado!" she pointed stuttering dumbly, as she tried to wrap her head around what was even going on there. A land-sprout localized tornado was being formulated, a violently rotating column of sands was steadily rising miles away and it seemed to be getting bigger, not to even mention the fact of the arcs of lightening it was giving off and destroying the nearest infrastructures, just what are they even doing?.

Caster seemed to have read her mind as he answered in grudging respect "they're just swinging their swords"

"Eh!!" she turned to him fast enough to cause a whiplash, before turning to the source of the prevalent screaming, another building within their vicinity had just collapsed again "but that's just ridiculous"

The caster just grinned and answered back "but that's why we're heroic spirits, we're characters who're meant to do the impossible, and as for those guys" he gestured at the now hundred metres tall tornado "all their doing is simply swinging fast, just Chaldean demi-god's probably unintentionally sending out those lightning arcs. Summon me as a lancer and I might be able to do the same, if I had a fight of this magnitude" he added the last part with grumbling.

The mage paid no attention to way he said the last part, but directed her attention back to the battle with a small prayer in her heart ' win this billy-kun… mash. I can't afford to lose both pf you'

...…..

Mash ran shield facing forward as she vaulted over a car heading towards her, 'incredible' she thought in awe as she could feel the seismic reverberating through her soles; probably due to the intensity of both her master and the enemy servant fight.

"Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!!!!!!!!"

"...............….!!!!!!!!!"

Over twenty five kilometres ahead, her eyes spotted the formation of a tornado; there he was, her master going toe to toe with berserker, and even keeping up, maybe surpassing, but she nothing but a shield heading towards a battle very much over her calibre.

A building was falling mid-air as she jumped into it, through its floor window pane.

BOOM!

Her shield facing ahead, she bulldozed and rammed through the walls and the varying resistance the building offered, as she busted out of the other end.

Maybe she was a failure, someone who isn't qualified to stand by billy-kun. But… but.

"Don't make me wait long"

The way he said those words, made her un-wanting to disappoint him. It felt strange to her, but ever since the time she had saw the eyes of her master, she had always felt jittery. in a positive sort of way, those eyes did not hold the cold distant light the mages of the organisation always threw at her, those eyes did not hold the pitying light that was plainly shown by some of the employees and some in some cases where they think she isn't looking like the doctor and director animusphere. No, those eyes, looked at her in a normal sort way, it was like she existed in the first place. When he had called her beautiful, his eyes sparkled in a way that caused her butterflies in her stomach, and then his words now 'he's still waiting for me' she blushed as her eyes took on a determined glint. Stray arcs of lightning impacted her shield but she still prevailed on regardless of the destruction that lay before her.

No matter what; Even if it takes all of her strength, she will squeeze even more.

All of her soul, she will draw even more.

All of her very being, even then she will give her all and more.

She swears she will fight by his side ' at billy-kun's side'

Such kind of resolution called out to places far beyond her imagination. The world slowed down to a crawl, as she heard a pearly sound of laughter, just as immediately, a voice communicated straight into her head.

'Fight by his side no matter what eh' a feminine voice repeated impressed 'that's a good resolve you got there mash kyrielight'

Mash body still hung in the time crawled world thought nervously 'what's going on, who talking to me now, is this some form of telepathy-attack'

'Whoa, calm down young warrior, do not be of fear, I was sent by my apparently new master, to be in your care… I believe you know him as the new demi-god'

'Billy-kun?!'

' Ah yes him, and don't bother trying to talk back, I believe this might be the first and the last time we might speak like this ever again…' the voice paused before continuing in a sombre tone ' and because of your believe and the faith of the conquering demi-god in you, a resonance has been formed, and an ascension has been achieved. And with this power I grant to you, may the blessings of the war god bless your shield as it heads into battle'

The girl had no chance to speak as she felt her very core being tempered, deep within her soul, something momentous was happening.

.....

' REESTABLISHING SERVANT-MASTER CONTRACT BETWEEN BILLY BATSON AND MASH KYRIELIGHT'

'AUTHENTIFICATION OF SOUL CONTRACT RESONACE BETWEEN PARTIES COMFIRMED'

'ESTABLISHING EVOLUTION GROWT-... ERROR, RECEIVING A NEW EVOLUTION ANOMALY CHART COUSERE IN SPIRIT GRAPH… ORIGIN? 'LABOURS OF HERACULES''

'COMPUTING COMPARISON BETWEEN ALL AVIALABLE EVOLUTIONAL GROWTHS…. LOGICAL COMPUTATION CONCLUDES THE ANOMALY 'HYPPOLYTA SASH' AS THE COURSE WITH THE MOST POTENTIAL'

'INNITIALIZING…. BEGIN COMMENCEMENT OF ASCENSION….'

.....

Mash entire form was enveloped in a jade luminesce, all the knowledge of her new found power was being inputted in her, telepathically, it provided no additional powers but her physical specs would be increased more than enough.

'Well this is all I can give to you mash kyrielight'

The still glowing demi-servant gave an imperceptible grateful nod.

'No need to thank me young warrior. Your strength, your conviction was what had given to you this power. So go mash kyrielight, go and show the master, what you have become, show him that you have what it takes to stand by him, to be his unfaltering shield…. Show him the might of… AN AMAZON'

Her luminosity blazed even greater before shooting of in an unreal burst of speed leaving the trail of neon jade afterglow behind.

...…..

Tuberous winds stirred around the around the demi-gods but that did not deter their rising battle fever.

"Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

".........!!!!!!!"

Billy batson couldn't deny the smirk he wore and his undeniable rising combative spirit, maybe he had always been a belligerent person, or maybe he was just influenced from bearing the vestiges of his predecessor. But there was no denying the thrill he felt at the moment.

He made no effort to evade knowing that berserker would do the same, at this point calling what their action swinging of swords at each other would be absolutely incorrect, the more correct term at this point would be flogging.

They both danced around, their eyes on the movement of their opponents as one tried to gain advantage over the other.

Billy batson's sword unknowingly glowed, as it indiscriminately discharged lightning everywhere, the beast of Greece swung defiantly meeting the sword of the living demi-god head on.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The ions in the air were supercharged, and lightning snaked all around them, the surrounding sounds were like that of cluster bombs going of like fire crackers. At this point a normal human being would be killed even staying within the vicinity, and the death dance kept on going faster.

In the middle of the fight billy batson came into one realisation as his grin widened even more 'while I won't deny as I am now, berserker has me a little beat in strength, I however possess enough to surpass him in speed, heh' he tittered, eyes spied the building through the sandy whirlwind, as he settled on a plan.

His aura flared accelerating his already divine speed even further, he tucked under an incoming slash, rolling under the famed beast as he threw at him an ascending punch straight at his solar plexus.

The force blasted away some of the sandy grinder, sending the greek heroic spirit upwards, the Chaldean demi-god was still on the move. His movement disrupted the already slash ridden earth as he shot upwards on the building that portioned the road, his fleetness took him even before the arrival of heracules.

When he had arrived at the middle floors of the building billy then turned, transitioning into a crouched with one of his fist on the window glass, as on his left calf portion, the symbol of the Ceryneian hind, began to glow. The world slowed down a notch, as he watched the frame of berserker arrived ever slowly, reaching where he was.

'This much should do the trick' he pulled back a fist as the grin on his face threatened to spill out 'alright then hero of endurance, I hope you're up to fill the shoes of the main incarnation' before he completed the words by speaking out "cause you're about to enter a whole world of hurt"

He smashed against the glass resulting in a spherical fracture throwing a side hook against the berserkers face, his speed took him over to the other side of the building as he bounced back to the other structure, he kept on bouncing alternately between the two buildings, sandwiching berserker with indiscriminate hails of punches raining all over.

Face-stomach-skull-shoulder-ribcage… none were spared as berserker was being turned into a human Ping-Pong, and at this point it couldn't be denied that heracules sufferance thresh-hold was very high. Even under the rain of attacks, he still hadn't let go his sword, waving it all around him madly. But how can you swing what you can't hit, to the eyes of even the hero of myth the Chaldean demi-god had turned into a blur of his own.

On the course of billy batson's impetus just as he reached another building and prepared for another blast off, he suddenly felt it, a sharp pain from his soul, something intrinsically to his being was being pulled out, but even despite the pain, he couldn't deny the laughter, that threatened to bubble up 'you did it mash',

But that was when he made an error….

Any form of distraction in a battle at this level… costs very dearly. The few moments the Chaldean paused at the building side gave the spirit of madness enough to see which angle he was coming from.

".........!" a roar erupted out of his mouth, as all the glasses in both buildings shattered.

"Hgh!!" billy batson faltered a little but still, jumped at his opponent in battle, but this time with less speed "..........!" And this time he was met with resistance. Crimson aura pulsated out berserker's body, smashing against the living demi-god like a sledgehammer; the force contained no real oomph, but it was enough to send the demi god crashing to base of the building.

"....!" The berserker, giving a roar of vindication, roused up his sword to strike looming at the downed form of the living demi-divine, but then he saw something confused him. His opponent made no move to do anything, but still possess a smirk on his face.

But at this point, the spirit of movement did not care, victory was in his sight in he would take, but just as he had entered the proximity of where the Chaldean laid, he was interrupted by the sight of a viridian luminesce, serving as a barrier, the force of his blow struck the luminesce without any effect, until he saw it move, the glow died down revealing it to be a giant shield.

And then shield smashed against the beast with enough force to send him flying away.

.....

Billy batson chuckled as he saw the glow died down revealing who she was, 'she's certainly changed' he mused as the figure revealed itself to be one who he knew with great familiarity.

"It took long enough but now you're finally here eh, mash" he groused out without any form of heat.

The now revealed mash turned to her master a half-linden smile on her face "yes master am back"

....

The Chaldean demi-god, couldn't help but give an appreciative over as he looked over his servant, her height increased a few inches bringing her to almost six feet, her lilac hair grew a little more longer passing the base of her neck and it had a lustrous sheen to it, even her face had took on a more mature aesthetics theme. But most notable was the white sash tied around her waist; all in all she had just become even more captivating.

As she helped him up his feet he couldn't help but inadvertently blurt out "damn mash I knew that, the sash was going to change you but I didn't conceive that it was going to the make you look like this"

The girl tilted her head; a tuft of her hair covered her eyes making it all the more bewitching "master?"

Suddenly billy became more aware of the female before him, scratching his cheeks as he answered awkwardly, his eyes looking at anywhere but her "n-no, what I meant is that, y-you suddenly become more beautiful mash"

As the demi-servant, she flushed red, her free hand covered her face as she squeaked out "ma-master what are you saying now…" before suddenly her eyes turned serious, her shield hastily taking a fortified stance, before the origin of her changed appeared.

".....!" berserker is back.

'Master' this time through the medium of their telepathic communications 'please your order'

Billy gazed at the figure of mash, as he felt an odd sense of… pride? He wasn't sure what it was but it was something close to that, he shook his head clearing out the thoughts as he analysed the situation.

Apparently wherever mash had sent berserker was far enough, seeing that he hadn't appeared as quickly as before, he overviewed the situation, before relaying his plans to his servant.

'I don't have much to think about mash' he shrugged through the link 'the main reason why I hadn't finished him off was because, of you. But now I have no reason to hold back…. But' he trailed off as he looked at his servant once again 'if asked to hold off berserker for a short amount of time, how long do think you can do so'

This time even through the link, billy could feel the radiating pride from ash as she answered 'for as long as you wish it master… but what do you have in mind?'

'Well, to be truthful I just want to get this done and over with. But, I just want to show him… berserker that is. The power he has entrusted to me. Wouldn't be in vain' the demi-god gripped his greatsword tightly 'that my story won't be like his. That me, you, olga, after we're done with all this will head back, to Chaldea, and to the sun' he raised his sword to punctuate his words 'and I want him to see my conviction through my sword, that yes, the power he has given to me… was definitely not a mistake'

While mash might not understand why her master wanted to do all this, she could understand this. Her master wanted her help, and that was what she would give, her resolution still rang in her, she turned and glanced him with a smile 'all right then master, I'll hold him off, inform me when you're ready'

She took a step forward and spoke out "demi-servant sheilder, mash kryrielight, heads out in battle" and dashed forward ahead, to once again face the Grecian berserker.

...…

The blade of her shield scraped across the pavement resulting in sparks, her eyes narrowed and body tensed for incoming assault. In battle she was just a shield, and that all she could and will ever be in any battle formation, but that was fine with her.

"...….!" The ruby exposed eyes of the hero of madness roared at her, his intimidation ever present. But this time she will face him with a different mind-set, this time… her shield will not waver… this time she will push him back.

The two servants rushed at each other.

An unwavering shield and an overpowering sword meet in a clash….

One brought his sword down and the other braced her shield up.

BOOM!!!

The earth ruptured and shattered the impact travelled through the girl's shield… but this time apart from some little tingling… the shield did not move an inch back. The force moved the two back as the sheilder took a few steps back to stabilise herself while heracules took even much further, to orient himself.

"....!" The beast couldn't understand what was happening, but he knew that he had meet a field that has refused to give ground, he jumped at the shield and began raining it blows to none effect.

'He definitely is heracules' she thought, while the blows where no longer as effective it was before, she could tell he was about four times stronger, than the last time they had fought. If she had fought him like this no amount of blocking would prevent her from being turned to a road stain.

But this wasn't the sheilder who couldn't block a few glancing blows, or would had almost died from a full one "I too have changed berserker" she declared out, as she activated her mana boost, with a dodge of a sword slice and a swing of her shield, her retaliating attack connected at heracules side chest cavity but unlike before the result was different.

".....!" the force lifted the beast throwing him sideways into a nearby car, the beast immediately bursted out, but mash was perturbed, she wasn't meant to be an attacker, so she knew her attacks wouldn't be that effective, and as she was ready for the next round.

As the battle went on, up the starless sky, storm clouds slowly began to gather...

....

Meanwhile back with billy. He closed his eyes as he concentrated on what would very well be his ultimate attack 'a noble phantasm, I think that what it's called' he reflected. Like he said before he wasn't heraucules, just someone who holds his power, so his mind-set to some of his more… natural gifts would totally be different from his predecessor. He was far more acceptable of his divine heritage. He held no repugnance for the gods, as he did not know them and so held no aversion of using his godly abilities.

Billy batson clasped both hands over his sword grip and raised it high above his head, as lightning began to flicker all over his body, his aura flared out like a torrential wind and the pavement around ten radius began to melt into yellow slags, just high above, storm clouds began to gather, as thunder echoed around the city.

The thunder grew louder and louder and then streaks of lightning crashed over the demi-god, as his tattoos began to glow, the bolts of lightning did not harm their caller; quite the opposite they made him even more invigorated.

He then settled on a right roof stance, as words suddenly began to flow out freely from his mouth " OH LIGHTNING! BY MY AUTHORITY AS THE PROGENY OF ZEUS, I CALL UPON YOUR MIGHT NOW TO AID ME IN BATTLE!!. FILL ME. SANTIFY ME. FORGE FOR ME A ROAD TO VICTORY….MY PATH IS THAT OF EVERLASTING CONQUEST"

He quickly sent out a quick telepathic message to mash telling her to move away, as he felt an affirmative feedback… he dialled up his speed as his world darkened leaving only him and heracules….

BOOM!!

The ground shattered from the recoil of his increased speed, to the outside world he could be described as nothing more than a living lightning, the Chaldean perception of the world's time was in full slow motion. One full step took him to the frozen form of heracules.

" I SHALL CUT YOU DOWN" as he brought down his sword, as he finally revealed its true name "KERAUNOS; O, FULMEN… VIKN!!!" and lightning roared in response.

A light pastel blue arc emerged, as the sword passed through berserker's physical and magical resistances like butter. A clean linear segment sliced his left shoulder down to the kidney and out of his body. It was truly the attack of one in a divine calibre…. But it was what had followed that had truly mattered….

The arc kept on its velocity despite the foe being defeated. The size have become even more gargantuan, occasional lightning from the storm clouds supplemented the arc's growth, it kept on growing until it reached colossal heights towering even the most tallest buildings. Its width increase more as the attack ate out the nearby city infrastructures for over fifty kilometres, turning the already ruined city, into a landscape of magma.

The arc travelled for over miles as it then detonated far out the city with the force of a nuclear bomb!... That was the power of the chief god, the thunderer of the Greek pantheon…. the manifestation of Zeus's authority; KERAUNOS the god thunder bolt sword, now vested in the hands of billy batson… and it was awe-inspiring for all to see

And most important in all this was…. the battle had finally been finally won.

...….

Billy expelled out vapour, before standing up and taking a deep breath….

"Keraunos…. Huh, the very heritage we abscounded out of despise, you accept in your quest for victory" a voice of great familiarity whispered.

Billy raised his head up as his eyes calmly set upon the heroic demi-god; his clarity had been finally restored, but he was soon to depart from the world, his body showed signs of crumbling. But even still he had a small smile on his face, he continued "billy batson inheritor of my power and you who has chosen his path of conquest… of what do you hope to achieve at the end"

Billy stayed till for a moment before he felt a hand slip into his, he looked down at the said hand before lifting his face to its comely owner. Mash shot at him an encouraging smile before he smiled back; he got his answer right here.

"For everyone I love to be safe, for everyone I love to smile… it is for their protection that I wield this power, heracules and I swear by this sword keraunos, that i intend to uphold my promise. So rest easy heracules. I won't let you down"

His hand gripped a little tighter around mash as she too added with a light bow "and thank you berserk… no I mean heracules-san for entrusting me and billy-kun with your power, I also promise never to let you down too"

Heracules felt a strange feeling bubbling up at the demi-servant words. At the rest of his better years, he had been searching for the true meaning joy. The thrill of battle never satisfied him, neither did the praises singed in his name nor did the women and the gold moved him much….

'But to think that the answer was just so simple' he mused as he broke out in a fit of laughter. By then the crumbling had reached the upper portion of his body, he was due to leave.

"If that truly is your path in conquest billy batson, hold that sword with pride young demi-god… and may all your future endeavours be blessed in your favour" he lifted his eyes to the starry skies as eternal darkness claimed him one last thought stayed in his heart 'illya, I am sorry for not being the protector you deserve…. But if…. if we ever meet again, then…..' his thoughts remained unfinished as his apparition finally vanished.

And at last the soul of the berserker hero had truly been vanquished.

TMMGO

Billy batson cleaned his eyes as he tried to awkwardly hide the lines of tears that streamed his face.

"He truly is a great man isn't he" mash remarked, at the dissipating ashes that still lingered as billy replied back quiet nasally "yes-yes he truly is"

Mash eyes looked knowingly at her master; she really wanted to cheer him up, as she didn't like the sight of her master's gloominess….

To the mention that she finds the image of a seven foot Adonis crying a little funny. She remembered a discussion on dealing with sadness with the doctor before coming to a decision.

And so with a determined nod, she went before him and ribbed "billy-kun is that tears I spy in your eyes"

"W-what are you talking about mash" he turned his head away "it's obviously just some dust that got in my eyes. What's with you asking this all of a sudden mash?"

"Oh don't deny it billy-kun" she consolatory added, patting his arm "and don't worry. People say it's ok for big boys to cry every now and then"

The master bristled and blushed as he turned stomping away from the site of destruction "no am not crying mash!"

"Yes you are billy-kun!"

"No am not!"

"Yes you are!"
