Chapter 8 - Chapter Seven: My Research and Theory

When I was at the hospital, I felt the presences of the Crimson Heir. It was coming from the nurse, weirdly enough. I theorized then that the nurse might live near here.

As the doctor drained my toe, my father was still feeling as if it was his fault. Miss. Hirano, am I hurting you? Dr. Xanthos replied. Oh no, doctor. I replied. That must have hurt slamming something heavy on your toe? Dr. Xanthos asked. I didn't hurt as much. My dad feels guilty about it, as you see. I replied. That means your father loves you, Miss Hirano. Dr. Xanthos replied. If you say so. I replied. I will have to put stitches in the nail bed. Don't worry, they are dissolvable. Dr. Xanthos replied. My dad felt better.

As we got out of the hospital, I saw my father in deep thought. I wonder what he was thinking about? The Crimson Heir lives in this town. If the Crimson Heir lives here, then the other Silver Crescent Emperor's son too. I thought. In deep thought, I thought I saw a girl with crimson hair and purple eyes. She ran past my father and I. I shook my head. No way in hell. I replied. What is wrong? Henry asked. I was deep in thought. I replied. When we arrived at the car, my dad opened the door for me. He could tell I felt insulted a little. I know your pride as a woman feels threatened a little. Henry replied. I get in the car and pout all the way home. In hospital, the girl spoke to that nurse. Hey mom, I got your call. Delilah replied. Yes, did you bring it? Hayden asked. Thank you for my lunch, sweetheart. Hayden replied. Sure, mom. Delilah replied. People whisper. The nurse looked at the other doctors. The girl felt a little uneasy. I have to go now, mom. See you when you make it home. Delilah replied. As she left, the nurse said something. That girl is my daughter. She was born with that exact hair color and eye color. Don't judge her by appearance. Hayden replied.

At home, everyone was asking me if it hurt?

I just looked at everyone. Getting stitches as not as bad as you think. I replied. At least you're fine now. Henry replied. You are right. I replied.

Little did I know of what I would find out that night.

Stay Tuned.
