~Janessa~
I'm still pretty pissed, but I need to take care of this paperwork so that will be one less thing on my plate. Justin walks out once Gemma and I walk in. I greet the men and sit at the table. They hand me the paperwork, explaining what each piece is and what it will mean. I sign everything and walk Alan and Ben to the door. They assure me that within the next few hours, the money will be transferred over and everything will be taken care of. The only thing I need to worry about is finding who put us in this situation in the first place. The rest of the day goes by quickly after I rescheduled all appointments I had. I just can't face clients today.
Gemma left already. She was needed to deal with some warriors at the pack and I know she is trying to find a better solution to our problem that doesn't include Frank. He emailed me his proposition, but I haven't had the right mindset to open the email. I wish I could find another way, but I'm not sure if that is possible.
I clean up the office and head to the door. I hear voices outside my office speaking in a hushed tone. This piques my interest, so I stand by the door to listen. Thankfully, I have wolf hearing so I don't have to strain. "Oh, come on. Let me show you around town." That sounds like Katie. She has been with me for a while.
"Mmmmm, babygirl. If we go out, it is not the town that I'd want you to show me." What?! That sounds like Justin. Justin and Katie?! No way.
"Really? Well, I have some personal landmarks that you just have to see. I'm sure you haven't seen anything like them." That bitch!
'Who exactly does she think she is? He is MINE!'
'What would you have me do, Sky?'
'You know what to do. Tear that bitch's head off…..NOW!'
'Sky, I haven't claimed him. He doesn't even know about the bond. He is free to do what he likes.'
'Oh hell no! Just because your ass is being dumb as fuck doesn't mean that I'm going to let some bitch have my man. Either you can handle it or I will!'
I put the block up so Sky can't hear anymore. If I'm not careful, she will take control and things will go really bad really fast. I continue to listen. "So how about it, handsome? When can we make this a thing?"
"I'm not sure beautiful, but I know that you will be worth it." Katie giggles at that and I see red. I have a hand on the handle and can feel the handle break apart. My other hand is on the wall and I can feel my claws out. I look at my hand and the claws are in the wall so that will have to be fixed. I can't stand what is happening outside of my office, but I know that I can't give into my anger. I throw the door open with no warning and can see Katie leaning across the desk with Justin caressing her face.

The sound of the door crashing against the wall startles Katie and I. We look towards the door at the same time and Janessa is standing there looking as pissed as she did earlier today. "I didn't realize anyone was still here," Janessa says through gritted teeth. Katie clears her throat and stands up straight.
"Uh….I was just leaving, boss." Katie grabs her purse and walks from behind the desk. "Good night." Katie hurries past me and heads to the stairwell. I stand up straight and look at Janessa. This is not the most ideal situation, but I'd imagine her anger has nothing to do with us.
"I didn't realize you were still here. Is there anything you need before I go?" Janessa takes a few steps towards me and I swear the room heats up. I'm feeling drawn to her again and I don't understand how or why.
"No, I'm on my way out."
"Me too." I follow Janessa to the elevator. She presses the button and the door opens automatically. We walk into the elevator, the door closes, and we stand in silence. The air in the elevator feels sexually charged, but that doesn't make sense. She is my boss and I can't feel this way towards her. I think back to my shower activities this past weekend. I don't even know why I had the desire to do that and why she was on my mind when I did. Thinking back to those thoughts, I'm getting worked up again. I can feel my pants getting tighter. I don't realize that I'm moving closer to Janessa. I'm standing right behind her and I can smell her so clearly. She smells like peaches and it is intoxicating. I lean down and run my nose up her neck where her scent is strongest. How did I know her scent is strongest here? How is it that her head is bent to the side right when I place my nose there? I feel some type of static when my nose touches her neck. I hear her sharp intake of air. My hands are on her waist and I move them up and reach in front of her to cup her breasts. Janessa leans her head back and moans softly. I don't know what is going on with me, but I feel that this is exactly where I need to be.
I barely hear a ding and the elevator door opens. Janessa seems to jump and steps away from me, straightening her clothes. She doesn't spare me a glance, but exits the elevator quickly and heads to a SUV that is waiting for her. The driver has the back door open and he closes it once Janessa gets in. I step out of the elevator and watch the SUV drive off. What the hell just happened in that elevator?

That was so damn intense. I swear the elevator was filled with his smell and my body went into overdrive. He could have had me right then and there and I would have had no issues with it.
'And yet here we are, wet as hell and alone. You should let me handle things more often and we might be more satisfied.'
'Oh shut up Sky!'
I make it back to the packhouse and head to my office. Lana and Gemma are waiting for me. "To what do I owe this visit?"
"Gemma filled me in on everything so where do you want to start?" Of course, leave it to Gemma to tell Lana everything that happens throughout the day. I swear Lana should just be at the office with us, it may make things easier.
"Well everything is taken care of as far as the money. I moved the money from my personal account to the joint account. There should be no issues, so continue to make sure that the pack is taken care of and the pack members are paid." Gemma is tapping her fingers on the arm of the chair. "Yes, Gemma?"
"Come on, 'Nessa! What about Frank?" I sigh and roll my eyes. Of course this is what she is worried about.
"He sent the email, but I haven't opened it yet." Gemma looks as if her eyes are going to pop out of her head. She scoffs and just stares at me. Lana is stifling a laugh. "Alright, damn! I will open it now." I get my phone out and check the email. I read the contents and toss my phone on the desk. I get up and walk to the window and just stare at the forest view. I know one of them will pick up my phone and read the email themselves.
"Oh hell no! I don't know who this Frank is, but let me take care of him please," Lana says and I figured she would be the one to suggest that.
"You can't agree to this, Janessa. Nothing is worth this. I mean, I know you aren't a virgin, but this is too much." Gemma does have a point. This would be above and beyond and I'm not sure that I can come back from this if I go through with it. My phone rings. "Uh, Janessa, I think you need to take this." I turn to look at her and her eyes are telling me everything. This is Frank. He must have made sure to be alerted when I read his email. I walk over to the desk and take my phone from Gemma answering the call.
"Mmmmmmm Janessa. I see you read my email."
"I did, Frank," I saw through gritted teeth. Just speaking to this man disgusts me. "There is no way in hell I will be giving myself to you and especially under those conditions."
"Awww come on. It isn't as if people don't do this regularly. Besides, you want my help and this would help me in return."
"I will figure something out. There is no way I will be your feedbag as well as your sex slave. Not happening." I hang up the phone. Did I mention that Frank is a vampire? I still haven't figured out how he gets around during the day and honestly I don't care. There is no way I'm consenting to what he wants.
I sit in my chair and lean back. I have to figure out who is threatening my company and pack, but I have to figure out how to do it without Frank. My door flies open with my mother and dad walking in. "Janessa Marie James! How could you?"
"Mother, it's nice to see you too. My day was okay, thank you for asking, how was yours?"
"Don't you try to change the subject. I just got off of the phone with Jasper. How dare you treat him that way."
"I'm sorry Peaches. I tried to stop her from coming."
"Oh shut up, Herbert! This doesn't have anything to do with you. If you were harder on her, she wouldn't be so quick to turn down a good man." My mother turns to me, but I've had enough. I can't take anything else she has to say.
"Enough Mother! Just forget about Alpha Kent because..." My mother stops and stares at me waiting for the next word out of my mouth. I take a deep breath and look into my mother's eyes. "I found my mate."
