"Fuck yeah, this is even better than my original room." Boltus laughed while slamming his body into the bed, causing it to creak under his weight.
But the bed was a fighter and hence was able to handle Boltus's weight without any problem.
"Bwahaha!! This is called luck. When one door closes, another opens up eventually. And in my case, It was the door to a palace." Boltus was crying tears of joy.
It's been a long time since he saw a private bathroom. And who knew that he would get it working for a little girl.
'A henchman of marquess daughter doesn't sound bad."
To Boltus, the difference between there was no difference between being a vassal of a marquess or their henchman. To him, both of these things were the same. And if he can do great at his job, there is a chance of promotion.
Opening his door, Boltus was met with the ass of the horse. Which didn't surprise him much as he slapped it away and made his way toward the two great men who were responsible for his current job.
So what if his room was in the stables? A good room with space was hard to come by in the capital.
Which also confused Boltus.
"Boy was that room great.. Do you guys live in a singular room as well?"
"Nah bruh, you see… well, how to say it." Boulder mike struggled to explain.
"Dude, most of us share a room. But no one wanted to be close to your stanky ass. Hence that whole room is for you." But OilyJack was not as careful as Boulder. He answered without care for Boltus's feelings.
"Oh… I see." And it would be a lie that this sentence didn't hurt Boltus.
And what can he even say, he knows why these people would be scared. It was the same reason why he got kicked out of the academy.
"Man, it's not like we don't appreciate your ballistic ass. It's the sole reason you were employed by the boss." Looking at the sad expression on Boltus's face. Boulder Mike tried his best to change his mood toward Alfin and compliment his ass in the process, but it worked the opposite.
"Oh, I am way more worthless than my ass."
"Bruh, don't be so sad. Look at me, I was only employed by my boss because of my oily skin. She said she wanted to use my oily skin to seal up her letters."
And so went Boltus's day of job hunting.

"*Nyeeeh"
The cries of horses from the other side of the wall kept breaking Boltus's concentration during his meditation.
And meditation was his only path to becoming someone better than his ass.
"Tomorrow, the three of you will go to Kathi restaurant to ask for some protection money, if they fail to do so. Let your ass do the magic."
Recalling the words of his boss, the drive to get stronger increased in Boltus.
This was a gang with only eleven members before he joined. Comprised three teams of three members each, while Oily Jack and Boulder Mike were the backups.
And now with the addition of Boltus, the fourth team can be formed.
"Keep concentrating on Boltus, only then can you gain the chance of becoming an official vassal of Marquis of Blood."
He now remembers clearly the name and background of this annoying side character in the anime.
Her name was Mercury Ulthad, the second daughter of Marquis of Blood which was dotted on to no end.
Even her older brother is a romantic target for the main character of the anime. He is the Senior student archetype, who wears specs.
Making her background even stronger. As anything closer to the main character is the strongest and most perfect in the world of an Otome.
"Concentrate Boltus, the henchman is not the end of your path. You are a goddamn transmigrator. Be OP like all those other fellow transmigrators." He shouted with the full force of his lungs, enhancing the rate at which he absorbed mana in his body.
His mana heart was already heavier than normal mana hearts. So with this force, his heart started to attract more mana to his body.
"Good… only with this rate, would I be able to build mana veins as fast as possible."
The trainee knight is divided into three parts.
When the mana heart has just been formed, it is a grade one trainee. When the mana veins have been developed, then a person can be deemed to be a grade two trainee.
In a grade three trainee's case, they have to cover their whole body with a mana field for at least one minute before they are considered true trainees.
And when they can cover their body with mana field for five minutes, then it is a peak trainee, just a step away from actually becoming a knight.
For most, this process is pretty fast and easy after forming their mana heart.
And the same was true for Boltus, whose mana heart was absurdly heavy, attracting more mana than normal and forming thicker mana veins than needed.
"That's it…"
Boltus can feel his new heart grow out of small roots that were slowly spreading through his body. The heart acted as a tree while Boltus's body was considered the foundation where the seed spread its roots while absorbing nutrients from the surroundings.
"This is good… if I can progress at this rate, becoming someone more than that ass guy would become easier."
As he was thinking this, he farted once again. His ass's way of conveying that Boltus will never leave its shadow.
And in doing so, he felt a strange boost in his mana vein creation process.
"Wait, don't tell me?"
After noticing that his farts still worked in helping his progression, Boltus started to fart. But this time in moderation, bit by bit.
He doesn't want an accident that happened before to repeat itself.
'But why are my farts so magical?' Boltus questioned, confused over why and how his farts were turning out to be so magical.
Then, he recalled a classic cliche of all transmigration novels.
"Golden finger… No, in my case, it's the golden ass. This is my cheat." Boltus rubbed his head in frustration.
"Others get systems, OP weapons, magical manuals, or some grandpa/loli teacher. But why is my cheat, my ass?"
"Y U do Dis gOd. Me being a fat bastard doesn't give you the right to give me such an evil cheat."
If things are going the way he expects them to go, then in the future. He would never be able to leave the shadow of his ass.
"Fuck it, cheat is a cheat. So let's fart away." Being used to his farts. Boltus didn't react to any of his farts. But for the horses in the stable, it was a hellish night.
They cried, asking for mercy in their language. But no help came, for there was no horse god in this world to listen to their pleading.

Two hundred kilometers away from the capital, in Dreeg Territory.
A young girl, with beautiful hair and a sword attached to her back, was getting ready to leave for Cloud Velfas Academy.
The young girl was named Tilia Dreeg and was the fourth child of the Dreeg family and loved by virtually everyone, besides the evil stepmother who lived in the west manor.
To Tilia Dreeg, her stepmother's face matched her nature. Completely ugly and always jealous of Tilia and her siblings.
But why would she not? It was a well-known fact that her only son and Tilia's half-brother were as useless as her and he was disowned by the family due to failing his college.
As for the details, she doesn't remember. When this happened, she was very young and could barely recall the face of her half-brother.
But she was sure of one thing, he was as ugly as his mother, and if his mother had anything to go by. Then this half-brother's nature might not be good as well.
Her older brother and sister have warned the same. They have told her how the stain of the Dreeg family was working as a janitor in the Academy she will be going to, so meeting him was a fact of course.
So she should be ready for it.
"Remember to kick him when he tries to approach you. You don't wanna smell him, believe me."
"Brother is right. If kicking doesn't work, you can always use your sword to threaten him."
Tilia was getting all kinds of advice that made her ask. Just how disgusting and evil her half-brother was.
She felt glad to be young when her half-brother lived in Dreeg manor, for her young mind had forgotten all about this disgusting and evil brother.
Maybe, it was her mind's way of suppressing any horrible memories that may traumatize her. So, she didn't try anything to force it.
"Please take care, everyone." And with that, she left for the capital city.
She felt glad that everyone was here to see her off, besides that evil stepmother of course.
Her father seems to be taking the greatest hit by her departure. As the man that never cried even at the death of his father, cried for the first time watching his daughter leave home. And the same was true for her mother.
While her older brother and sister both tried to support their parents.
"Please take care, everyone."

"Hmph, these bastards, they not only ruined my life. But ruined my child's life too."
On the other side, from the west manor. Sat a giant fat woman close to the window. And on her face was nothing but scorn.
"Ten years, you have kept me away from my son for ten years."
"Just wait… I will make all of you suffer."
