Chapter 15 - Cindy Venicee

Third Individual's POV

"Are you serious? You should have said that earlier. Why didn't you inform me before me? You made me into a total joke," Tyler said with a frown.

"Excuse me sir? You're the one who made yourself into a joke. How could someone be so idiotic? You heard our last names. Isn't it obvious that we're siblings? Besides, we look alike. Only morons can't figure out that we're siblings," Seo ya said, with a sigh.

Seo ya rolled up her sleeves and placed her arms on her waist. 'Ah, now I can see the resemblance,' Tyler thought.

"It's currently 9 in the morning. I'll be at my office so get your documents done around 9:30 this morning. I expect you to finish them, neatly and perfect," Tyler said as he fixed his tie.

'Phew,' Seo ya let out a deep breath. "I can't believe that I did so much in just a day," Seo ye walked around, until he reached her office. She opened the door, and saw a pile of documents on the table.

"The fuck? He wants this done at 9:30? Why, I ought to kill—WAHH!" All of the sudden, Seo ya slipped from the slippery floor. Her bottom made a huge impact on the floor, causing her to feel immense pain.

"Curse this day. Huh?" She looked below the table and saw crumpled paper. It seems like the paper was left for a few days already. "Did no one clean this room? Or did someone go inside this room and drop it?" Seo ya asked herself.

'Weird,' she thought. She grabbed the crumpled paper and went back to her seat. Slowly, she unfolds the paper and the contents within made her widen her eyes in surprise.

'This is...!' she thought.

In the meantime, at a certain building in Sydney, "What happened to Seo ya?" A blonde haired woman with pale skin, and pink lips asked. Her eyes were low, as if she had zero energy left.

"She got into an accident, while on the way to the airport," a man in his 30s said. The moment the woman heard those words, she froze. "What should we do about the project," he continued, "Miss Cindy Venicee?"

Cindy Venicee. A woman in her 20s, who's secretly the heir of the most prestigious organization in Sydney. All that's left for her to successfully inherit that organization is by the help of the Jang Company and the Lee organization.

However, her plan shattered into pieces the moment a problem was acquired during the process of doing so, causing their businesses to experience a downfall in the past few days.

"The project? Ah, leave it be. For now, I want you to investigate the death of Seo ya Jang," she said, flickering her eyes. "May I ask, what's the reason for that, miss?" Her secretary asked.

"I need to clarify whether or not she's dead," she said with a glare. Her secretary gulped, as if he was scared and said, "Noted miss."

Now back to where Seo ya was, "This paper... The handwriting engraved within, it's my brother's!" She yelled in excitement.

'For years, I haven't seen his handwriting, but I could never forget. Fortunately, his handwriting didn't change!'She thought, widening her eyes.

"But this paper... A diary?" She asked herself. 'Today, we've decided to accept a collaboration made from the so-called heir of the most prestigious organization in Sydney. Not many know this, but Cindy and I met too many times which caused me to know that she's an heir,'Seo ya read the paper, silently.

'Which is why, with no hesitation, we accepted her offer. However, everything seems too perfect. It's almost weird. Since sometimes, I would feel like Cindy went to me, and became friends with me for a reason. I wonder why I'm feeling this way?'that concludes the message within the paper.

"Cindy Venicee. I accepted her offer too, back then. I received a call from her, and she told me about the collaboration. I thought about it for a few days also. The offer is way too good, and I was sure that it'll help the future of my company." Seo ya folded the paper neatly and slid it into the pocket of her coat.

'But huh? Is it just a mere coincidence, that my stocks were slowly dropping, and that's when she called me, saying she'll help?'she asked herself in her thoughts.

'Or all these time, what if she planned everything in the beginning? The downfall of stocks, the collaboration, everything?'Seo ya thought. Seo ya scratched her head, and said, "My head hurts."

'How can I know more about the collaboration of the Lee organization and Cindy? And why is this paper torn? Doesn't that mean that there's a whole diary?'After a little thinking, she finally came up with a conclusion.

"I guess I have no choice but to do it the hard way," she said, brushing her silky hair with her hand. A flashback entered her mind.  'Jang organization and my CEO's organization are in danger, you should track down the spy and inherit what's yours.'her brother mumbled.

"A spy? Then doesn't that mean...?" Seo ya stood up. 'I must never trust anyone, including myself. Because you never know, the spy might be someone closer to me,'she thought.

"Ha, I can't believe I'm thinking all of these things when I still have plenty of documents to work on—Shit, right! I have plenty to work on! Argh! I wasted too much time!" Seo ya said as she looked at the clock in her office that points at 9:20 o'clock.

"Whatever happens, it's all Cindy's fault that I lost track of time!" She yelled, as she scribbled on the paper. "Achoo!" Cindy said as she rubs her nose with her left hand. "Oh my, do you have a cold, young miss?" Her secretary asked.

"Hmm. I guess? I hope not," she said in a hoarse whisper. She looked at the scenery by the window and said, "Or what if someone's talking behind my back?" Cindy Venicee grinned.
