Chapter 4 - Chapter-4[Dinner]

CHAPTER-4

Two days have passed since Han Xiao showed the information to his family. His life was going the usual way except he had started training. He also stayed silent about the lie that he had made after being told by his mother.

After all, being a novel reader, he knew how harsh it was for the children who should signs of premature awakening to live.

'Even though the timeline is still several years before the actual plot of the novel, people's hearts are still the same. Premature awakening kids were taken by big guilds, or rich families and given intensive training from an early age along with brainwashing them to become the dogs of the place where they are from.'

'If not for being someone from a rich family, then my fate would be the same. After all, for how long could I hide from not using the information of the future?'

Right now, he was going to the dining room for dinner as it was already that time. Everyone from the family had to be present during dinner and breakfast, no matter what. Except you were somewhere important.

And, Han Xiao was trying to appear a good kid in the eyes of his family to start his plan. He needed many resources which he can't get without showing something worth the same value.

While there were many other ideas brewing in his mind, those were the things he wanted to avoid for now. After all, he wanted to do things in the normal way for now. . Gaining more attention than he already had was going to ruin his plans for the future.

Soon, he reached the dining room. There were many people in the dining room. From the head seat where his father, Han Zhuang was sitting while showing a warm smile looking at his family. Servants were standing on the corners of the room, waiting for the orders. Food was not served as it was still not the time yet.

On his father's both sides were two women.

The woman on the left was wearing relaxing comfy pink pajamas that were covering her body completely. Her face looked childish with her bubbly pink hair and pink eyes, but it was just a picture that she had created for herself.

'After all…she is head of one of the most important departments, Xu Xueman, who is originally from an Alchemist family in Taiwan. She is Father's first wife.'

The one on the right was wearing a black office suit with her black square glasses on her sharp eyes. She had black hair and black eyes with a serious look in them.

'She is Su Linger. Head of one of the world's top 10 companies under the Han Family name. She was originally head of a small company that she started herself. She was neither from a big family nor from some prestigious faction but still, she is Father's second wife.'

And beside Xu Xueman was Song Xian, who was looking at her son's face.

'And, my mother, Song Xian. She is from Song Family, a first-tier family. While many may think that their marriage was to make a profit and other things for the family, but No, their marriage was out of love too. After all, my mother was a well-known Healer when she worked along with her unique skill.'

Han Xiao took a seat on the chair assigned to him. His seat was the third on the right side of the table. Beside him was his big sister, Han Xue. From the name, it was easy to guess whose daughter she was. She had pink hair and pink eyes, but her eyes were showing seriousness, unlike the playfulness that her mother's eyes had.

'Han Xue, 14 years old. Mother Xueman's daughter. With exceptional talent in management and business. Learning directly from Mother Linger.'

And directly in front of him was a man, Han Zong. He was Han Xiao's big brother, around in his 20's. With black hair and black eyes. His looks were serious but just like their family, he too was showing a warm smile while looking at the family sitting at the dining table.

Han Zong, Su Linger's eldest son. He was learning the management of family directly from Han Zhong as he was the eldest out of all the boys in the family.

While beside Han Zong was another teenager sitting. He had red blazing hair and a physique like an athlete. He looked around 18 or 19 in age. He was Su Linger's second son.

'Han Wu Hen is the most talented hunter in the family. Awakening the skills of the same attribute as father and reaching B-Rank in a year.'

Han Family was full of talents. Two more members were not here during dinner time as they had gone to another country for work.

Everyone sitting at the dining table looked at Han Xiao with curious looks. Only Han Wu Hen was glaring at him, but rather than a glare filled with hatred, it was filled with rivalry.

Su Linger gazed linger on Han Xiao with a curious look in her eyes, "Xiao'er, what are doing for the past two days? I haven't seen you much around roaming around in the mansion."

Sweat appeared on Han Xiao's forehead but his look remained calm, "Mother Linger, I am working out nowadays as my schooling will start next year. I want to appear superior to my classmates in both physical and academics quality."

Su Linger nodded at his response. Even though she saw that he was nervous for a moment but she ignored it.

'Looks like he saw something else…I wonder when is he going to tell others what he is seeing in his vision. Dear is right. He seems to be hiding or more like locking his heart now? Guess due to seeing deaths and other things.'

Su Linger had been managing the Company for several years before she even married Han Zhuang and had met people from all walks of life. She had eyes to see through what the other person was feeling or going through.

While Han Xiao was an orphan in his past life. He had neither learned the skills to hide his emotions nor had he learned how to be a poker face. So, his face would give away his emotions which were easy for those in Han Family to look through.

"Be careful though. There is no need to think about being better than others lest you got ill or something else." Su Linger warned.

Han Xiao nodded.

"No need to think that much. If he wants to stay above others, then hard work is the best choice for him. You can't be better than others if you are limiting yourself in fear." Han Zhuang encouraged in his unique way.

"Yes, Father!" Han Xiao replied while smiling brightly.

"Dear, don't put the burden on him more than necessary." Song Xian then looked at Han Xiao with a loving smile, "Do everything at your own pace. No need to think much about others."

Just as the discussion was going to be prolonged, Xu Xueman pointed her finger at Song Xian.

"Sister Xian! Xiao'er needs to be brave! He needs to show those trashes at the school their place!!" Xu Xueman exclaimed with a proud smile on her face.

Han Xue lowered her head in embracement at her mother's words. While the adults sitting at the table ignored her words while shaking their heads.

Xu Xueman looked around as she saw others ignoring her words and become a loss for her own words before she pointed her finger at everyone, "Why are you ignoring me?!!" and protested.

But got ignored again.

Han Xue's face become red in embarrassment as she muttered, "P-please stop now, mother…"

Han Xiao looked at her pitifully, '…Poor her.'

Xu Xueman was the most eccentric character in the family. From the start, she liked having to trample those talented people or those who worked hard with her work. But she never used the support of others and did everything with her hard work and talent.

"Ignore them for now, Xiao'er, you want to come with me to the company tomorrow?" Han Zong called Han Xiao while the adults started to bicker in their way.

Han Xiao shook his head, "Big Brother, I still want to train. And, the last time I was there, you made me watch you work half of the time, and then left me to other workers, so I am not going with you!"

'Yup, being the youngest has its benefits too.'

He didn't have to care about what others are feeling that much even if he rejected others. The only one he can't reject was his father.

Han Xiao glanced at his father who was trying his best to stop his wives from quarreling but as though he sensed his son's gaze, he immediately looked at him and showed a smile.

"What happened, Xiao'er?"
