Nux froze, unable to believe what he just heard. He instantly started doubting his hearing ability, not even trying to consider the possibility that what his mother said might be true.
After all, how did that even make sense?
Forming a Law was important, extremely important. After all, without a Law, breaking through the Divine Stage was simply impossible.
One of the perquisites of reaching the Primordial Stage was to form a Law. A Cultivator without a Law, no matter how strong, no matter how talented, will always face a 'Wall' after the Divine Stage, a Wall that cannot be broken if he or she doesn't have a Law.
