Justine Jake Dy's Point of View. (Werewolf, 19 as a human, Son of the alpha, Only child of the Lunaria of the Myral Pack)
I practically threw myself on the sofa, having nothing to do here at home. I also have no one to accompany me wherever I plan to go to let out some steam. I yawned out of boredom as my pack's duties as the Alpha's son had already been fulfilled. I also have nothing to do here at home, since my personal belongings that keep me sane are in my university dorm. I mostly spend my time there, except in summer, as I'm currently studying. My university is far from this beach house as it is in another city. It's pretty famous and many people know about it. The university itself has some high standards keeping it at the top of the podium, having to overthrow many outstanding schools throughout the world. It's strict though, having lots of 'famous and powerful' humans there, and some creatures blending in them of course. Creakwaters university stood beside my father's power plant, as they have this collaboration of work or something.
It's really fun at school, but it's the opposite at home. It's boring here and you can do nothing but to read and study. The maids and other house staff are the only ones here at home, since that father of mine rarely comes home these past few days, and is always at the pack house, managing things. I guess that he's still finding the culprit on my mother's soul-bond, or whatever you call that. It's been three years and he's completed nothing, and still complains about the progress the men he's assigned have completed.
How I wish that my mom was here, even though she's bedridden, and only has the capacity to speak and smile, she has all the time in the world. She's always there for me as I am for her, she wants me to live according to her, and she at least wants to see me get a degree. That didn't happen though as her passing is a loss for all of us.
I would clearly remember our afternoon together, I would be reading beside her while she drinks tea (even if that's bad for her and the doctors already advised her again and again not to drink tea, especially Jasmine, her favorite. She didn't mind their reminders though, as she said that it's her only fuel to go on, haha). We would then watch the sunset together, having the immaculate view right in front of her immeasurable windows. Her smiles and little moments that she would chuckle, make me want my mother back, but reality itself is in the middle of that as every time that I would reach her hand, her image vanishes. A sour smile escaped my lips as I remember moments when my passed mother is still alive.
Coming to terms with time, I've already spent half of my morning approving and declining, some here and there signing, and also training some of the new recruit members of my father's pack. The pack itself, named Mylar for some reason, has been declining over the years as their Lunaria/Luna (the mate or wife/spouse of the pack's alpha), passed away tilting the balance of power between us all. Many female wolves went and proposed themselves to have my father marry them or something but my father refused all of them, thankfully. I don't want to have a stepmother. My mom's more than enough for me.
During my tasks, I have been accompanied by the sons of my father's Gamma, they're twins and look identical to each other but they have different- oh so different personalities, defining each of them apart. The older one's named after his father and grandfather, having Liamme Rhyz as his name. The younger twin is named after his great-grandparents, Matheo Williams is his name. The older one is called Liam by many, The twin that is called Theo is the younger one, though at times they're confused by other people as the other twin is the opposite one. I think they've had enough with that and cut their hair in different styles with each other so they would be different from one another.
* In a pack of wolves, only the alpha's family has surnames. The other pack members will take the pack's name as their last names.
Their family is surely spread wide and is known throughout Agrovia, but their clan has outermost authority, power, and fame. They became entrenched in the judgmental superior society even if they did not choose or want it. They are both a lot like me.
Their father, Gamma Rhyz is one of my father's most trusted accomplices. He's also one of the alpha's trusted advisors and close friends. His sons are close to my family too, since the moment they are born, they are– we are expected to achieve great things. Both of them have grown with me and the three of us have spent most of our childhood together. We trained together and reached the point where we are right now with each other's help. We have formed a brotherly bond over time.
Liam is the quiet and older one. Just like me, he prefers peace and silence all the time, which itself is impossible given the attitude and behavior of his twin. He's really smart and very strategic, having to inherit his father's witty and resourceful mind, and all the tricks they have under their sleeves. I have always been amazed by his creative, unique but deep, and well-planned thinking. He talks less but thinks a lot more. Liam always does this weird pose of him when he is strategizing or planning on something, that especially comes out during most of our chess games, which he is in fact unbeatable at. He places his left hand under his chin and sits straight, the other hand would hold the left side of his forehead, which is also used to move his pieces over the board. He sits weirdly too, having both his feet overlap each other.
To think though, he's more active with his pack duties as the eldest son of the gamma, much more than his twin brother Theo. He's with more people often, having business and forming some alliances with them, given that peace is the outermost priority of the gamma. He is not very good at socializing with them though, as I've noticed that his demeanor weakens when he's in the spotlight of the conversation. He gets nervous as his heartbeat spikes when it is his turn to speak, especially with a crowd. His fighting skills, however, are incomparable, having beaten many of our bulky, skilled, or not skilled, pack members. Even if he has a slim physique, his body can handle more than what meets the eye.
The twins surely look the same as they are mostly identical. Theo's haircut being different from Liam's is the only difference between them. Their different personalities give them apart too, as here is Liam, being the quiet kid. He's observant but can be considered a beast with his fighting skills and techniques. While there's his twin brother Theo…
"ooooh, Is that a terrarium?. You have a new hobby huh?. ….TARANTULAS?!!?" Theo shrieked like a girl, having seen my new tarantula. He continuously rummaged through the things in my room even though he didn't even ask me for permission.
That made me think that I've been too loose on letting these two in my house. They even followed me home even if I didn't want them to. Theo even insisted that we eat here at home instead of going out. 'Having to taste my personal chef's famous crab legs' is his only reason.
Tch, He doesn't want to see that lady at the mall is the true reason for that. The lady was bugging him the other day, wanting him to buy this or that, haha. He seems annoyed and to think that he doesn't want to go there anymore, even if that's where his favorite food court is located.
I think I need to tighten my rules a bit, having these two lingerings too much with my PERSONAL belongings. Theo's even flipping my study desk over, finding something he can get and bringing it home and labeling it as his.
"Hey, can I have that?" He asked and then pointed at a freaking painting!.
"No," I muttered to him and then covered my face with my palms and sighed big. I saw him frown but didn't even bother as I know that he was just gonna look for another thing that fascinates him.
I heard Liam mutter something and then giggled but I didn't look or ask him what he said. Exhaustion from the day of work starts to sink into every single limb of my body. I started stretching my fingers and shoulders as I felt tired and I can feel that some of my muscles were tightening.
"You have the newest brand of XX shoes?!?" He said and pointed at the shoes still in the box at the bottom of my drawer. "You can have them if you want, they're too little for my feet," I said to him and gestured for him to go on. He happily agreed and immediately put them on, he then put his old shoes inside the box and placed them back in the drawer. I didn't oppose him as the maids would probably clean that later.
He continued rummaging through my stuff, I just let him, as he won't listen to me anyway.
"You also have these?! Wait– what's this?"
"*gasped*You have these?!?! these are like limited– limited editions!"
"Can I have these?? Oh wait– They're fixed at the table, nevermind"
"ooooh, I'll just have these then…"
"Is this sturdy though? would this break If I step on them?" He said pertaining to the little table he found at wherever that's from, I don't even know. "Try it," Liam said to him with a grin.
He stepped on it and then, "ooop, it's wobbling, never mind. Weak wood, bleh.".
'Why would you even think to step on a table?. It's a table so it's probably gonna break if you step on top of it, stupid.' I think to myself of what he just did. I watched him closely from that point on as he might break something if he continues doing those things.
"oooooh, what's that on the corner?"
"and this? What's this? Can I have them?... I'll have them.."
"Wait what?-- How does this even work??"
I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior. Theo's like an ADHD guy, while there's his twin… annoyed at him and constantly questioning the heavens above on how and why this creature is his twin brother?. He's supposed to be the half of himself, and yes, they do look alike but are very– very different on the inside. They're identical people, but on deep scales, one can be considered an angel, and then the other one's this some kind of demonic little entity.
I groaned, thinking that Theo and Liam being in the same room spells T R O U B L E. Once they start to argue over something stupid, they won't stop even if they're disturbing someone else… natural sibling fight. Them being together is hella dangerous, they're like feral cats that can't be in the same room as the other, but they're wolves though, which is even worse.
I stood up and looked at my window. The sun is shining brightly. It is giving most of the light which is illuminating this afternoon's sky. The hands of the big clock placed in my room are clasping each other giving out the time as the roman numerals XII. It's time for lunch, time to feed Theo's hungry inner beast.

I think that Theo loves the food served to us. I've told the kitchen staff that the twins would be here, and I think they do put much effort into serving the best and their favorites. Both of them have been here a couple of times now and the staff already know much about them, they could even tell them apart and know things the twins prefer the most, especially food.
Seafood gourmet, Steamed Lobster, Roast Beef and Chicken, Medium rare steak, Marinated Barbeque, Chicken Ravioli, Lasagna, Pumpkin pie and soup, and of course, chocolate desserts served after the entree. I think they like it, I mean, Theo's devouring the BONES of that poor little chicken. Liam's enjoying the food too, as the beef served on his plate wasn't left unattended. I didn't eat much food, It doesn't suit my appetite as I'm a really picky eater. I won't deny that since my mother's demise… My appetite has been down and I hate foods that remind me of her.
They're eating like wild animals but Thankfully, these two are taught dinner manners, and have been using them, even if they're eating wildly and in an inhumane manner. They're not like that in front of others, but since they think that I'm not like other people, They act like they're home and proper manners aren't needed.
I mean it's not a new thing if a werewolf is so tempted to eat vigorously in front of meat, since well, we're wolves after all. Also, Theo's a big foodie. Liam's not very good with seafood but any meat would be his favorite. He's more mannered too since he's been eating properly in front of me, not like his brother.
As I've said, Theo is one bubbly guy, having the most social power among the three of us. I'm not lying when I said that he's a very approachable and charming guy, as that is purely the truth about him. One downside of him though is that he's very sentimental about literally everything. He puts value on every memory, even people or places that he's got, his family being the most important of all. He's a charming guy as I've said, but doesn't have any love interest as of the moment. Even if he's a very popular guy, especially to girls and girls at heart, he's never found 'the one' for him.
I think he already found her, the one that makes his heart beat so fast that you'd think he's racing with the fastest motor car or something. We met this girl when we were in our adolescence, her name is Laureleih. She's a very attractive and pretty girl, also having a socialite clan, but she isn't a werewolf. Laureleih belongs to the Blackwood family, which has so much authority that it is chosen by the monarchs themselves. She has a family of priestesses and wizards and plans to be one too, leading to her rejecting and breaking Theo's heart. I think he's afraid to love again, and am pretty sure that his personality is only there to cover up the mess inside of him. That thought is pretty hard to prove, as if that is true, he's really putting up an act, having many believe in him, even his twin brother.

After the meal, they called me up to the balcony, using our pack link. I'm in my room, changing as they plan to go to the park.
I furrowed my eyebrow as to why the hell is they upstairs and not outside if they plan on going for a walk. Also, why won't they just knock on my door if they're just inside the house? did they suddenly feel ashamed or shy or something?.
I hurried to the balcony and saw them talking privately and silently, and when they noticed my presence, they stopped mid-talk. Liam's in a very serious mood and Theo's awfully quiet, which itself hints me into thinking that the matter they wanted to talk about is very serious. I ready myself and show them that my attention is on full, as to what they're going to say. I slowly walked on to where they were and Theo talked to me when I reached their sides.
"Hey. You remember that Feral-fangs camp your dad has brought up?" Theo started. I accompanied them who were standing at the edge of the glass fence being the only protection of the balcony's edge.
"Yeah? That's tomorrow, right? I already backed out." I said and looked at the distance, having nothing to see except the sea line.
"Yeah, you're not going. right?" Liam asked, I looked at him wondering what the both of them wanted to say. I kind of know what it is but I don't want to admit it to myself.
"Yeah– I'm not," I said, still looking at him, who then looked down. My inner self starts to panic as his body movements seem small, but they do shout the meanings a lot.
We three stood there silently for a moment, feeling each other as if none wanted to strike up the first moves. That is… until Theo said the topic that I would never want to hear from them. Separation of the three.
"We are," Theo said and looked at the horizon. I stood there shocked for a moment and snapped when I processed what he just said.
"What– Why?!" I shouted at them, who didn't even budge. I noticed Theo's sudden seriousness, which is pretty uncommon. He then looked down to the ground and lets his twin continue.
"We didn't choose to go, okay? Don't shout like we even want to be there." Liam calmly replied. I blinked at him and processed it again, processed what he just said.
"You're forced? did the gamma dictate the two of you again?" I asked backing out of the balcony. They suddenly turned to me in a very serious and agitated mood.
"Hey bro, don't put my dad's name in here. It's your dad okay? The alpha. It's an Alpha command. Tch." Theo snagged, which shook me a bit. My father?
"Why the hell would he do that?" I asked myself. dead-silence mediated in between me and the twins, I'm too shocked to even react and I didn't notice the twins leaving. I turned to see them but both their backs were against me.
"We wanted to tell you about it during the walk, but we both know that your reactions would be over the top," Liam said and continued walking, putting his hands in his pockets. Theo stopped to look at me, still having that scary serious face, me who is like a damn st*pid thing here, still standing and wouldn't even stop them.
"It's not a proper goodbye, but yeah, we already did bid our bye's. It's not by our choice okay?."
"Yeah, that's pretty much it. See you in a year brother." He said and then smiled, I knew that, that is fake as hell. I just stood frozen at my spot. I'm drowning in my own thoughts, being confused and all. I'm still coping and have been practicing to manage my thoughts ever since my losses.
When I came back to my senses, both their cars were gone and none of their scents are there. I tried calling both of them but they left, leaving me with a heavy heart and a very messed up mind.
I slumped on the sofa once more and pondered about my actions earlier. I laid my head back feeling all the guilt flood in. Why the hell did I shout at them? they did nothing! nothing to me or anyone! You are so stupid Justin! I'm so stupid!.
I spent most of the afternoon thinking in the living room. Aunt Mia brought me some snacks but I declined, telling her that I'm not into eating today. At 6 pm, I went into my room and lay on the bed. I'm still thinking about the twins, feeling so guilty about my sudden reactions.
How can I even shout at them? Why the hell would I even think about that?. Their faces seem disappointed but serious at the same time. I know that they don't want to go, but hearing the Alpha's command, They can't even refuse ethically.
An Alpha's command is hella absolute, no one can oppose it, even if the whole pack's against it. The gamma and Beta's decisions can contribute to declining that command but If he's dedicated, their opinions wouldn't even matter.
Hearing that… My father probably wants me to go there too and thinks that the twins would probably force me. We three are inseparable, having been together for the past 20 years of our lives. A year without them would be so peaceful, but quiet and dull. I can't go on with that
I facepalm myself and think about it again. The Alpha's command….
He's pushing me to go there, is he? What's even special about that camp? Even the name stinks, feral fangs?. That stupid father of mine has been pressuring me over and over and has been controlling me over that command of his. I hate him so much that even the tiniest respect he doesn't deserve.
But this time though… I give in. The twins didn't even want to be there, but because of me… they'll spend a year there.
There wouldn't be a 'they', it would be a 'we'.
~~
I woke up very early in the morning, the sun isn't even up. The cold breeze of the early morning hugs the very skin of me that is exposed. Aunt Mia helped me to pack my belongings and prepared my meal for the morning. I mentally and physically prepared myself for this and nervousness isn't a thing anymore. I also knew that those idiots would be there, feeling down as they thought that I'm not going. They would be surprised I'm betting you. I bid my goodbyes and left my beach house under the care of the house personnel and drives off at dawn.
I drove through streets and turned into paths, I walked when the concrete road turned into dirt and parked my car in some safe spot… I think. I walked for some time until I reached this stupid camp. I'm all alone in front of the gate's front, 'Feral-fangs' is what it said in this super big carved sign placed at the top of a metal front gate. The gate is rusty too, having this creepy ambiance emitting from the inside.
It is said in the invitation that the registration would be closed at 5 am. It was already 4:35 so I stepped in. I walked on the path made of stones and not far I saw what seems like a very modernized building. Not far from the building in front of me, stood the twins. I called them in the pack's link, I'm sure that I would have a lot of attention towards me if I called them vocally. They turned their heads quickly in my direction and a smile plastered on both of their lips. Theo quickly ran into my position and gave me a hug, which is sweet... but It felt so gross to me.
"Yo! f*ck off dude, gross," I said in a joking manner which he laughed at. I smiled at Liam who was trying to hide his smile but failed as even his eyes are now shouting that he was very happy. I am too, knowing that even these two are not here because they want to, but can still smile cause we are together. I felt some pity upon them, thinking that they are here partly because of me. I patted both their backs and pulled them into the building with me.
We talked about our journey on how the hell we got here, which is in the middle of the forest. We chuckled on the way to the registration building, which is in fact ginormous.
Of course, The Alpha's blood seals are in their papers and their signatures aren't needed. I signed mine and we waited for the tour to start.
A part of me is happy to see these two beside me. Even if I don't want to be in this place at all, I'm happy to have them beside me. They're my brothers, maybe not by blood but they're my brothers nonetheless. I'll be happy even in hell if we're all there.
They're always there whenever I need them, especially during my darkest moments. I would never leave them hanging just because I don't want to go here. If we're going to suffer, We'll suffer together.
~ Thank you for all of the support! ~
