Kaminari Denki was many things. A young hero with a successful future, a good friend for many of his classmates, but he was also a dumbass who had managed to capture the heart of the one and only (Y/N) (L/N), a strong student who always sought out to find a solution to a problem, who always made a plan when events went south.
Unfortunately, there was one situation where she couldn't understand why she was with the electric blonde when she could've been happily single and problem free, and so not in a totally pissed off mood where she imagined several different scenarios on how she was going to murder him and get away with it.
"(Y/N)-Chan? Are you okay? You've been staring at Kaminari-San for quite a while, yeah?" Ururaka asked her friend that had spent half of the lunch period staring daggers into her boyfriend's head.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just conducting an experiment." (Y/N) answered back, getting a few weird and concerning stares from her classmates at the table they were sat at.
"What kind of experiment, (Y/N)?" Midoriya asked, trying to not be bothered by the girl's unusual behaviour.
"It's a simple experiment called 'Let's see how long it takes for my boyfriend to realize that he has made dumbass decision', and the way it's performed is by simply staring at the rear of his head until he turns around to notice just how pissed off I am with him." (Y/N) explained calmly while gently flicking a plastic knife between her fingers considering what type of damage she could actually do with it.
"Is that actually a real thing you can do?" Todoroki asked being unsure of the explanation, in all honesty, he didn't really pay too much attention to why this girl was ready to murder her beloved boyfriend.
Didn't couples usually love each other to kill for each other rather than want to kill the other?
"Absolutely not, Todoroki. Please don't be influenced by these acts." Tenya reminded him.
"Fun fact, Todoroki, it is said that if you stare at the rear of someone's head, it actually feels like something is burning holes into the back of their heads, or some people get so paranoid that they start to feel uncomfortable. Therefore, they turn around, the same reaction this asshole is going to pull in a few seconds." She responded as she kept her deathly glare on the electric blondes head.
The DekuSquad watched in anticipation to see if what (Y/N) said would actually happen and true to her word, Kaminari turned his head around and was met with the look from hell by his loving girlfriend, quickly turning his head back to his group, he tried to ignore the burning sensation at the back of his head, he had been feeling it the whole morning and it wasn't helping him in any way, shape or form.
"What's wrong with you, Dunceface?" Bakugou asked him harshly, but Kaminari was used to his harsh remarks by now.
"I don't know man, I've been feeling really off today, it feels like I'm being stalked more than usual today." Kaminari replied.
"Oh. Do you need us to tell Mr. Aizawa, maybe he could give you some tips that could be helpful." Kirishima suggested but all Kaminari did was shake his head.
"I don't think it's life-threatening." He said to them, obviously they wanted to help their friend but at the moment, neither of them knew what was wrong or how to help.
"You and (Y/N) haven't been so lovey-dovey today I notice, did you two have a fight or something?" Mina asked being observant of the situation, the Baku Squad had also noticed the intense glare of the girl Kaminari had sold his heart to.
"I don't think so, I mean, we haven't had any fights recently, I haven't forgotten anything that I know of, her birthday was last month, she's not on her period, umm... I really don't know what I did to tick her off so badly." Kaminari explained as his thoughts ran through his head trying to find if there was anything else.
"Better figure your shit out fast, Sparky." Bakugo added, getting a sharp nudge from Kirishima as their friend was already in term oil and wrecking his brain for what he had done.
"Maybe you two should talk it out after school, you know that sometimes communication is the best tactic to use." Hanta said to his friend, offering a reassuring pat on the back.
Mina noticed Jirou and Momo walking by when she stopped them to quickly ask if they by chance knew what was going on between (Y/N) and Kaminari seeing as Jirou hung out with (Y/N) a lot because they had tastes in common, Jirou explained to her that she hadn't been told anything by (Y/N) in the past few days, but she did mention that (Y/N) had told her that one of her favorite manga's had been missing for a while and that it was an edition that was really difficult and expensive to get and explained further that (Y/N) found one of Kaminari's blonde hairs where she had kept the manga.
"Oh, so...(Y/N) is actually doing it for a reason, maybe I could ask Kaminari if he has seen it?" Mina suggested before being told be Momo that (Y/N) would unleash hell on the dorms if she found out that she was ratted out, so until Kaminari could gather why she was upset, Mina wasn't allowed to say anything.
The day had progressed at a faster rate than the rest of the week, and before he knew it, Kaminari found himself in front of the dorm room of his ever so loving and kind girlfriend. But then why was his heart feeling like it was going to burst out of his chest?
"Are you going to stand there all day or are you actually going to knock?" A voice rang out from the other side of the door, snapping Kaminari out of his daze, but before he could be given the chance to knock the door swung open with a very upset looking (Y/N) staring back at him with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Hey my buzzy beautiful-"
"Don't finish that sentence if you want to be able to even look at me for the rest of the week."
Blinking in surprise, Kaminari quickly nodded his head and asked if he could come inside to which he was granted that wish, once inside the room he turned towards (Y/N) with a frown on his face and eyes that looked glossed over.
"Don't give me that look, you look better when there's a stupid smile on your face."
"What did I do wrong, babe?" He asked with a shaky voice, already scared of the feeling of being dumped and having his heart stomped on. "I haven't done anything to make you mad that I'm aware of, I haven't flirted with anyone since we got together, I know the days when you're on your menstrual cycle, I don't remember ticking you off-"
(Y/N) looked at her boyfriend with both a shocked and surprised, yet, deadpaned face. Did he really put that much effort into dating her?
She had never had anyone care for her that much to remember such things, it's actually kind of a type of euphoria feeling to know that someone loved her so much to keep track of those things, snapping out of her thoughts by Kaminari's babbling about all the things he could've done wrong, she remembered now why he was probably in her dorm in the first place.
Sighing heavily, she walked up to him and grabbed him by the collar of his school uniform, pulling him down to her height and attaching her lips to his in an attempt to shut him up, their lips moved in sync and eventually lead to her hands tangling themselves in his golden locks and his hands supporting her waist.
Breaking away for air, Kaminari was a bit shocked that his quite girlfriend had a dominant side to her, "I'm not mad at you, Denki."
"Then why have you been giving me the stink-eye all day?"
"Do you remember taking a reading comic of mine by any chance?"
"I think I might of come in here looking for something to cure my boredom with, and maybe I did find a comic..."
"Okay, depending on your next answer will determine whether I murder you today or not, alright?"
"Okay."
"Is the comic in perfect condition as the way you found it?"
"I remember putting it on the highest shelf in my room incase there was a ruckus, I can go get it if you want?"
"Please do, Love."
"Okay, I'll be right back."
And true to his word he was back in less than two minutes with her manga, carefully handing it to her, she was quick to check for any damaged edges or any ripped pages with liquid stains, but surprisingly it was in perfect order, she looked at him as if she was the one to get stunned by his quirk.
"What's with that expression, babe?"
"Usually, my stuff I burrow to people comes back in damaged pieces, just surprised that you kept this one safe and in perfect condition. Thank you, Denki."
Wrapping his arms around her waist, Kaminari snuggled his nose into the crook of her neck, making her giggle.
"Now how about we watch some movies to forgive me of my mistake of not asking before I borrowed from you."
"Whatever you say, Denki."
And that is how the day ended, with the couple falling asleep to a movie and Kaminari heaving a sigh of relief.
Thank goodness I bought the last edition of the manga, but that is a story I'll tell her on another day in a different situation.
