Chapter 145: There is hell to pay
Defiance waited for Connie to explode and she was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that her cousin Alex was holding hands with the she-devil but then she heard Connie say…"Sure, we will be sitting over there, come find me later, Diddy"
Defiance was still reeling from the shock of hearing Connie say something remotely nice when she heard a voice behind her.
"Come to wish me luck?" She turned around and found Jeremy behind her.
He was in a blue jersey and still every bit roguishly handsome as ever.
"Hey, Jeremy" Defiance waved at him shyly. She took a step closer to Conrad. It could only be one of the two things, it was either she did that out of fear that she might mistakenly let her confusing feelings show or she needed comfort from the one person she was allowed to seek comfort from.
Conrad's arm instinctively went around her waist. He liked that she came towards him.
