After the shenanigans Conrad pulled on her, Defiance was surprised that she strangely went to sleep. And it was a peaceful sleep nevertheless.
She woke up late and only did because Mindy was shaking her to wake up.
Mindy was drying her hair when she entered the bathroom for a quick shower. They had about an hour to get to school.
She borrowed a bright red blouse and Jeans but after some careful thought, she decided to go with the flowering gown at the back of Mindy's wardrobe.
Maybe Julian would be more receptive to her request if she dressed like a regular damsel in distress.
She quickly wore her boots and grabbed a jacket, just in case she needed it.
Mindy was ready to go too. Her best friend went for the comfortable yet alluring looks.
