Chapter 82: Knight in shining armor
16th century
Semeen froze. The human girl had saved her life. Jamie tried to stop herself from screaming but the pain was unbearable. Max and Alexander howled louder than they have ever done before.
"Your highness, run!" Semeen told him.
"Why?" Alexander asked.
"Because you are becoming human again"
Alexander took off deeper into the forest before he fully changed to his human form.
Jamie pulled herself to rest her frame against the tree. Semeen refused to leave her even after she ordered the rest to leave.
"Go away, now" Jamie spoke softly to the brown wolf "You have to go with your family. They will be back and they will kill you. Go! Run, okay?"
Semeen stared at her one more time before she took off. She knew Alexander would be there with her soon and he had the ability to stop the attack.
