Chapter 118: not my son!
Two hours earlier
Mindy stood in front of the mirror. She checked to see if her make up was in order and it was not that there was anything to check to begin with. Apart from the lip balm, her face was devoid of any notable changes.
She wanted to look special but after an hour of putting on and washing off countless make up, Mindy gave up.
She wanted to call her best friend but Madeline had made her opinion very clear to her, she hated Julian and he wasn't good enough for her and so, she didn't.
Mindy wondered why her friend would purposely turn a blind eyes to the advantage of having Julian as a boyfriend instead of the bad aspect but with Diddy, trying to get her to see the good side of Julian was like pulling a teeth but she was determined not to give up, come what may…not until she can fulfill her goal.
