--- Chapter 92 --

"Previously, on Luna's Bizarre Adventure." Luna was lying on a hammock inside Lost Heaven. "Master is somehow able to read my next moves. Hmm, is he an esper that can see the future too? Interesting, very interesting."

"Um, What are you talking about, Luna?" Su Ling'er tilted her head in confusion. She was fetched from the Grandwake City by the little prankster, basically dragged to the Lost Heaven a few hours ago.

The Beast's Princess shrugged and replied, "it's adult things. You won't understand, Ling'er."

"Anyway, let's walk around. I'm sure you wanted to know more about this place." Luna jumped off the hammock and pulled Su Ling'er with her. They teleported out of the Lost Heaven and arrived at Silver Lake City's entrance.

Like blinking stars, Luna could see the eyes of Su Ling'er shining brightly. 'This is one of the fateful individuals on this planet. How amusing~.' She thought while grabbing the young lady's hand.

"Let's go."

As they entered Silver Lake City, some security guards greeted them by waving their hands because Luna was introduced two weeks ago by Hayate. They knew her danger but were assigned to monitor her. That was useless because the little prankster could go everywhere while hiding her presence.

The Ghosts could see Luna physically standing there with an unidentified little girl, but their presence was similar to air. No, even air has a better "Presence." than them.

"Welcome back, Luna." A young woman greeted Luna. She was one of the Ghosts assigned to secure Silver Lake City's main entrance. "Do you want some freshly baked bread?"

"Oh, nice. Give me some, please~." Luna skipped through the air and landed beside the young woman. A basket of bread appeared on top of her head.

"Sankyu!" She dragged Su Ling'er into Silver Lake City.

The young woman shook her head and commented, "How cute and chaotic. I don't think Silver Lake City can handle such energy and cuteness."

The other Ghost agreed with her statement and nodded their heads wryly.

"We are terrified by Luna's ability, but if you think about it, you can't be mad at her. She's just too cute after all." Once again, they nodded in agreement.

"Well, don't eat anything she gives you. It would be a disaster in the dumping part." Some Ghosts agreed in the heartbeat. They are shivering because of the awful experience that little prankster put them in. "She's cute but dangerous, remember that."

"Dangerously Cute?"

"Hahaha... Haha.."

"Ha..."

...

"Ling'er, take this baguette." Luna handed Su Ling'er a 30 centimeters baguette. "This one of the best kind, trust me."

"How did you know?" Su Ling'er asked curiously, grabbing the baguette. She has never seen such long bread with a soft yet crunchy texture. All they had in Grandwake City for the last month was hard bread and vegetable soup.

"This bread is made with special techniques from the ancient city of Paris. One of the best cities for this kind of thing."

"Just eat it."

"Paris?" Luna stuffed her little mouth with the baguette and was surprised because, unlike the hard bread, she could feel the pillow-like texture. There is also a hint of sweetness, but not too overpowering.

"So Good~." She chimed while eating the whole baguette at such a fast speed, leaving Luna with a smug on her face.

Luna proudly swung another baguette like a long sword and said, "All evils in this world shall perish from a slash of my heavenly baguette~!"

"OUI~!!"

After that, Luna and Su Ling'er went to several places in Silver Lake City, enjoying the food here and there, and finally stopped at the city center for ice cream.

"Uugh, so cold." Su Ling'er licked the vanilla ice cream with a surprised look. "It's nice, though."

"Hey, Luna, do you think I can visit again?" Her voice trembled when asking such a question, but Luna only laughed merrily.

Luna winked playfully and replied, "Of course, as a friend, I'd bring you here every day if you want. We could visit the hot springs next time."

"Hot Springs..." Su Ling'er brimmed with excitement. She had never gone to such a place but had heard it from Luna a few days ago. The young lady remembered something and blushed because of it.

"D-Do you think we can visit Big Brother Hayate?"

"Sure," Luna answered while creating a teleportation point inside Hayate's training room. They blinked from the city center and arrived at the secured place.

"Mweh!" Su Ling'er blushed more when seeing half-naked Hayate punching the air.

She covered her eyes and peaked between her little fingers, watching the young man training his martial arts diligently. It's been two weeks since Su Ling'er saw Hayate, but he's still handsome.

Hayate stopped and sighed, "Well, It's useless to place spatial barriers, after all. You can enter this place so effortlessly, Luna."

"Barriers at this level can't stop me, Hehe~. You need to become Divine King Realm first." Luna giggled cheekily. "Here, Su Ling'er wants to meet you."

Hayate moved his gaze to Su Ling'er and smiled at her. "Good afternoon, Ling'er." He greeted her while wearing a coat to cover his upper body.

"G-G-Good afternoon." Su Ling'er greeted him back nervously.

She was staring at the last bit of Hayate's exposed muscle and groaned softly in frustration. 'What a shame.' She thought to herself while fumbling with her fingers.

Hayate was confused by this little girl's response and decided to shrug it off because she was still a kid. "Want to have lunch together?" He asked, to which Su Ling'er responded with a nod.

At the pavilion inside the mansion garden, a series of maids brought food to the table, and Su Ling'er couldn't believe her eyes for a moment. "S-So many foods." She muttered in awe.

Luna picked a skewered meat and commented, "Master needs a lot of food to sustain his body and training. He could eat an entire forest in an hour. This little lunch is only a snack for him."

"Yeah." Hayate chuckled wryly because this one of [Mystic Art of Body Cultivation]'s a downside. He needed a ton of energy to increase his body's growth. There is a reason why his vigor is everlasting.

Su Ling'er stared at Hayate's coat, especially those refined muscles, and whispered, 'Those beautiful muscles need nutrients to grow.'

Hayate started to stuff food into his greedy mouth and recalled a few things. "Ah, does your father know you visited Silver Lake City?" He questioned naturally.

Su Ling'er and Luna froze on the spot when hearing Hayate's question. They panicked inside, hoping the young man wouldn't notice anything quickly.

In the end, Su Ling'er broke the stare and explained everything to Hayate, which left the little prankster speechless.

"I see... Luna just picked you off and brought you here." Hayate sighed again. "I have to apologize to Senior Su Hengshan later."

Luna lowered her head and grumbled, "Betrayer."

"Sorry, Luna." Su Ling'er smiled weakly. "I can't lie to big brother Hayate."

The day continued quickly, and they returned to the Azure Cloud Continent with Hayate.

...

"Nice to meet you again, Senior Su." Hayate greeted Su Hengshan.

The Grandwake City's Lord nodded and said, "I assumed my daughter went to your place this whole time? Mr.Smith said Luna was capable of doing long-distance teleportation."

Hayate only responded with a light nod, leaving Su Hengshan with a speechless look on his face. They knew how valuable such an ability was, but the little prankster used it for some mischief. Well, they can't do anything about it.

Su Hengshan shook his head and continued, "Lady Fran and Mr. Smith are waiting for you in area nine."

"I'll be there in a few hours. Is that okay with you?"

"I'm fine with it," Hayate responded calmly, watching Su Hengshan walk away with Su Ling'er.

Luna sneaked quietly into the corner, but Hayate quickly grabbed her clothes. "Where are you going, Luna?" A smirk appeared on Hayate's face.

"You're coming with me."

"NOOOO!" Luna watched the corner become far away as Hayate dragged her with him. They went to area nine and saw Fran and Gernis inside a room.

As Hayate walked into the room, Fran and Gernis moved their gazes at him.

Meanwhile, Luna returned to her usual antics and said, "Yo, fancy meeting you guys here~!"

"And here she is, the menace." Gernis downed a pint of beer instantly. Depression is apparent on his face.

"Hey, that's not how you greet me!" Luna pouted, "Say it correctly, "Luna is the cutest Kaiju~!" this time."

Still, The dwarf doesn't give a fuck like a drunken uncle and replies, "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Hayate focused on Fran and commented, "Oh, looks who freed herself from her dying host. I bet you only noticed that Xiao Bing'er couldn't handle your core a few weeks ago."

Fran couldn't deny Hayate's statement and hung her head in disappointment. Since the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament, Xiao Bing'er fell sick with a weird fever that made her body pale like a corpse. Even after talking with Gernis, Fran still can't find the cure.

Hayate sat on the chair and said, "Good things, you have me to help you."

"Y-You will?" Fran stared at Hayate's golden eyes.

"It's partially my fault as every Kaiju I created was custom-made for me. You can't shove something unknown to someone else, Fran."

"There is a reason each of you is special."

"Well, let's go straight to the point." He continued while staring at all of them. "What do you think about this world?"

"Fun~!" Luna answered immediately.

"Mid beers, 5/10," Gernis commented drunkenly, forcing Fran alone to answer last as everyone stared at the beautiful elf.

Fran opened her mouth gently and answered, "This world is on the verge of destruction."

"Huh???"
