No Law or anything he could conceive of could explain why the molded flesh over the massive beating heart could respond at all. It would have been bad enough if it was simply preserved limbs and pieces mashed together, it would be bad enough but the reality was horrifying.
It was made worse by how innocent it sounded in Lind's mind!
