The massive fleet of ships were not, as many would assume, artifacts. There were artifacts at work inside but they were in fact flying vessels designed by Lind alone. The original Nautilus had been a work of art but it had many flaws.
The channels could overload, the control crystals were too easy to break, and so forth. He had learned many lessons and now had the chance to improve it.
The new prototype, named Nautilus II by Benny after hearing the story, was his alone. Compared to the mass produced ships, it had a lot more abilities because of Lind. It had reinforced channels of crystal of all elements and the pedestal controls were now inlaid with grade 6 weavings that were far more durable than crystals.
Each ship's heart did need to be bound by its owner but the Qi was absorbed from the world like before, not from the cultivator. As such, the ships would not stop flying even if the cultivator was exhausted.
