Ren was frustrated but not out of the fight! He refused to capitulate to a junior that was so disheveled and clearly weak! Her weapon was terrifyingly powerful and she once knew how to use it, but he could discern gaps.
The problem was her speed! He could not take advantage of the minor gaps she left open and worse, the gaps were disappearing. She was relearning by using him as a training dummy!
Blood trickled from some slices but the pill he consumed before was still working. The spirits smiled on him in luck it seemed. Lind Frey was clearly depleted and unable to escape, so Ren focused on the final threat.
He wondered why none of his remaining men had warned him of the incoming attack but pushed it aside as any distraction meant death!
The clang of metal told him all he needed to know as he deflected her sword once more from his ribs. Peak grade 5! Her weapon was peak grade 5!
