He was right that he was not the only one to detect the emergence of the new Inheritance. He had been sorely wrong in the response of the wider world.
The Icy Path was generally only considered a good source of ores or studying the Laws of the storms there. The beasts were useful too but ultimately, beasts could be found anywhere with any elemental alignment.
There were also far less dangerous hunting grounds too.
An Inheritance, however, made all risks seem like nothing in front of Immortals! The chance at special resources, pills, elixirs, artifacts, and all manner of treasure would await them.
The word tsunami did not quite cover the flood of Immortals making their way to the Icy Path.
The Frost Heart Sect could not stop them and the newly opened space seemed like a direct path until every artifact, ship, and individual slammed into some kind of barrier. They could not enter there!
