I wanted to grab that bastard's hand and shove it from my mate's chin, but I couldn't. Not yet. He glanced at me, of course. He could smell how I was feeling and he just smirked.
"Your mate is gorgeous. It's a shame she is not a werewolf. But then, she would be better as a Queen, not a Luna." I understood those words. That son of a bitch! How dared him to look at my woman, MY FEMALE and say those words? He really believed he was invincible, because he was not only a King, but a Lycan.
"She is perfect, indeed. And the best part? She is all mine." My words were not indecent or disrespectful, so he had no reason to retaliate me, but I could tell he was unhappy. Well, fuck him.
"I know." The King answered and got back to his throne.
"We need your blessings, Your Majesty."
"My… blessings?" The King snorted. "I won't give you my blessing, Alpha Kurt."
