The journey to the king's lands would be long and tiring and Kraig wasn't interested in that at all. However, it was necessary. He needed the King to understand.
"You will travel to speak with the King after I make you Alpha of the pack. For if not, he can simply choose another successor." Bernard spoke to Kraig, who was sitting in the chair in front of the office desk.
"I understood. But that will be when I don't want to rush you, Father, but I…" Kraig sighed heavily. "I need to settle this soon. Delina is already my mate and there is no way I can lose her."
"Take it easy, Kraig. Since you've already marked it, I don't believe the King will oppose you."
Kraig nodded and stood up.

Bernard intended to make Kraig the Alpha in a few months, but now that he had indeed marked Delina, his position needed to be secured as soon as possible.
