Rowan was inside the carriage, although he wanted to be on the horseback. But Maise told him it might be a trap and on the horseback he was unprotected. If she told him to let the horse to be on his back, he would let. Her words were law to him.
When they got there, Hans was waiting near the little house where his brother was inside.
"Your Majesty!" He said, bowing.
Rowan got out of the carriage, looking around.
"What the hell just happened?" He asked, growing.
"I'm sorry to disrupt your honeymoon, but a Duke's murder is something unsettling and that requires your attention."
"Damn sure it is.' Rowan said, and sighed. "Lead the way, Hans, please. I just want to be done with this and get back to my wife's arms."
"Sure, Your Majesty."
