Elemental Cats are known to be one of the most optimal choices for a first beast contract. The reason for this is because of their elemental attributes, which will be easily known the moment they are born, their fur color reflects what attribute they have.

However, Elemental Cats can never survive the wilderness, because the moment they are born, the one that conceived them will die, which means they have no protection at all against their many many predators. Due to this reason, Elemental Cats decided to take up the protection offered by humanity, through making a Sanctuary for them. This sanctuary ensured that Elemental Cats' population thrived, however it also had a condition.

The condition is that, every year Elemental Cat babies should be given to humanity for newbie beastmasters to contract with.
