Hermes turned to look at Vitorio with bloodshot eyes. He knew the man was a vampire, or to be more accurate, the vampire. The Protectors had watched this man waste his life on useless things that added no joy and worthwhile memories to his already short life when he was a human. And of course, they had seen him later too when he had been cursed with this perverted form of immortality. Back then, if Hermes had known that a day would come when this same previously harmless man would threaten his life and the lives of those he cared about, the protector would have stopped at nothing to end the vampire in his infancy.
"What did you say?" Hermes asked Vitorio as if he had not heard what the Vampire had just said. In reply, Vitorio's smile Only grew bigger and his ridiculously Sharp teeth started showing as his smile stretched some more.
