The story had sounded like a lot of bullshit to Ethan and if not for the fact that the Protectors were the ones telling him, he would have never believed it from anyone. There were just too many holes and questions to call it trash. Why didn't the Protectors stop Brava when he was committing such evil? Why didn't they kill him after he started being trouble? Why didn't they end him when they foiled Hades'plan during the Pantheon war Instead of imprisoning him? All these were questions Ethan had for the Protectors after their story.
Luckily for Ethan, some of his questions had been deemed Worthy of answers. The rest had been ignored. According to the Protectors, they had refrained from intervening during Brava's slaughter because they had believed he was going to pay only the people who had wronged his parents in kind. Then when he had gone overboard, they had decided to see if he would exercise control and tamper justice with mercy.
