"what? Tanks? Did those men really say that?" One of the high ranking military officials asked with no little surprise and a lot of doubt. He didn't believe the general's words that the soldiers had really said that. Why would they demand for such powerful war weapons to deal with some mere mutants.. maybe these mutants had incredible defenses such that even special bullets like the incendiary and toxic bullets didn't have any effect on them, however, that did not warrant them being considered dangerous enough to command a dispatch of heavy weapons like tanks. Such a thing would be nothing short of overkill.
"Even if they did, how exactly do they expect us to send them such machines immediately upon notice?" Another one of the high ranking military leaders asked his colleague sitting beside him and the other person just shrugged as he shook his head Incredulously. The officials could tell what was going on here.
