"Alright, I think this looks good," Kam said aloud as he checked himself out in the mirror. He currently had on a two-black piece suit with a gray undershirt, with the top buttons undone.
"Yes, I think it fits you quite well," Jasmine replied with a smile. She currently had a few boxes in her hand as she watched the young man.
"I should dress like this more, it feels nice."
"Wearing nice clothes is always an ego boost. Speaking of Ego Boost, I brought a few things for your date. Take a look" Jasmine passed the three boxes in her hand to Kamara.
"Oh, you shouldn't have," Kam said as he took the top box from her. It is a small green box. He opened it to see two small golden pieces of jewelry with diamond faces.
"Those are cuff links, I am sure you can figure out what they do. They are from Dolcine and I felt they were very beautiful." Jasmine smiled
Kam nodded before taking the two links out of the box and putting them in the cuff of his suit. After he looked them over he took the second box, this one is a larger rectangular box with a golden Musa crown on the lid of the box. Kam lifted the lid to reveal a gold-plated watch with a black band. In the center of the watch's face was a small Musa crown with the words Lamin underneath it.
Noticing the confused look on Kam's face, Jasmine spoke
"It is a Lamin: Kalo ni Sankolo 6nan Seri. A watch meant for all occasions, while not the rarest or most valuable thing around. It is beautiful and many would love to get their hands on one. Usually, you would have to make an appointment at a Lamin retailer to get one, but I know a few people, and they helped us out."
"Oh, thank you. Just wondering, how much does this watch run for?" Kam asked as he took the watch out of the case and observed it.
"300,000 credits" Jasmine replied
Kam almost dropped the watch from his hands when he heard her, but he caught himself and quickly calmed down.
"Oh" was all he was able to let out.
Although it was one of the most expensive things he owned, he realized that it was an infinitesimal amount of his wealth, he figured he could buy the lamin company if he wanted to and not feel a scratch. Though he also realized that that had more to do with companies not being valued as much as they were in his old world.
"Ok, so cuff link and a nice watch, I'm excited to see what else you got for me."
"I am glad you like them, I put a lot of effort into finding some good things" Jasmine smiled while opening the last box, this one is longer than it is thick. It has a grey box, with white marble-like veins going through it.
The box opened to reveal a solid gold chain.
"This is a 24 karat, Italian style solid golden chain brought from Egolas. As for the price it was around 15,000 credits. It was a bit easier to obtain in comparison to the watch." She explained as she carefully took the chain out of the box.
"Do you mind?" she asked as she undid the hook
"Please" Kam replied as he turned his back to her and dipped down.
Jasmine gently put the necklace on Kam and adjusted it in the back so that it was underneath his clothes and would just barely show on his bare chest through the top unbuttoned part of the shirt. She felt Kam flinch a little when the cold metal touched his skin.
Kam stood up straight and got a look at himself, and he had to admit, the jewelry did make his outfit look better. It was just enough to where it stood out but wasn't overbearing. He was a particularly big fan of the chin that just slightly showed itself to the world.
"Alright, I guess I should get going. I still have to go pick up my date." Kam said as he grabbed his wallet and put it in his jacket pocket along with his phone.
"Yes, Layla is already waiting outside in the car for you." jasmine said as she made way for him to pass her.
Kam nodded and made his way to the car waiting outside. When he got outside he couldn't help but whistle at the Black Bentley Mulsanne Extended that waited for him.
"I still can't believe that you were able to get this on such short notice, even if it's only rented" Kam exclaimed as he made his way to the car.
"You will come to realize how quick wealth can get things done for you, Kamara" Jasmine told
"I guess so. Well, anyway I will see you when I get back, Wish me luck." Kam said as he got into the car.
"I look forward to hearing good news," Jasmine said before Layla closed the door, she then looked at her partner for the last ten years with a dead serious face."Make sure nothing goes wrong"
Layla looked at her for a second before nodding. Jasmine smiled at her, and the big woman looked for a bit before making her way around to the driver's side. After a few seconds, Jasmine watched the car drive off. Once they were out of her view, she made her way back inside, she had work to do.

Kam's stomach was churning as the car pulled up to Issa's downtown apartment. Scenarios of how the night would go were running through his mind, and none of them were positive. He had already mentally prepared himself to have a drink or two thrown on him. He would do his best to hold his composure when it happened.
The only thing that had briefly been able to take his mind off of the upcoming dinner is the beautiful car that he was currently in. He had never sat in seats so comfortable, it felt like they were made for his body. His body just melded into the seat, if he wasn't so worried he would've fallen asleep on the ride. Speaking of the ride, Kam felt that it was the smoothest driving he had ever felt, not a bump or brake was felt the whole time. If he had closed the window curtain, he was sure that he would've forgotten that they were even driving. The extra leg room was also greatly appreciated.
He didn't know if the great ride was attributed to Layla's excellent driving or is one of the car's features, but he didn't care.
The Bentley pulled up the driveway at the entrance to the Apartment building and parked. Layla then got out and let Kam out of the Car. Who slowly go out.
At the entrance of the building, a stunning woman dressed in a Green Body Dress that matches her eyes and accentuates all of her assets, especially her exceptional backside. With her green dress, she has silver heels that match the three silver rings and necklaces she has on. Her hairstyle has been changed a little bit, with her curls being noticeably tighter, being an inch above her shoulders. Like always, she doesn't have any make-up on, but that is a personal choice. In her hands, she holds a small pocket book that held all her essentials, including her phone.
Right now she is looking at her boyfriend with shocked eyes, the tall pale woman next to her is also just as shocked look.
"Is that him?" Raven asked her best friend
"Yea, yea that's him" Issa replied, a large smile forming on her face as she looked at the man that stood waiting for her by the car door. He was pulling out his phone and getting ready to text her.
"Oh, wow," Raven said
"Wow, indeed. I will see you tomorrow, Raven" Issa said as she gave her confused friends a hug.
"I thought we were going to play later tonight?"
"I changed my mind!" Issa told while hurriedly walking toward her date
Raven just looked at her with aggrieved eyes until she sighed and just watched the two of them.
Back at the car, Kam was just about to press send on his text to Issa until he heard the sounds of heels clicking on the ground. He looked up and was greeted with a sight that he would never forget. The woman he was sure was the love of his life walking towards him in the most second most beautiful clothes that he could imagine. He hurriedly put his phone down as a wide, goofy smile appeared on his face.
He slowly clapped his hands as he watched her walk to him. Issa smiled shyly at him as he clapped for her.
"Damn, you look good Issa," Kam said as he got a good look at her
"You're not so shabby yourself, stranger, and it seems that your car isn't shabby either," Issa said before hugging and kissing him.
"Mm, I try. As for the car. I had a, a friend helps me out" Kam explained as he opened the door for her to get in. "After you m'lady," he said
"Why thank you good sir" Issa did a playful curtsy and got into the car
"Anything for you" Kam unknowingly said before closing the door once she was in. He walked around to the other side of the car with a weird look on his face before ignoring it. He got inside the car and after a few seconds, the door closed.
The Drive to the restaurant was fairly short since it was also located in the downtown area of the city. So the two of them did not have much time to talk about anything in detail, but they did manage to get greeting out of the way and catch up on each other's weeks. During the whole ride, Kam tried his best to hide that he was nervous, but he wasn't an actor. Fortunately, Issa did not bring anything up in the car, and they arrived at the restaurant without any problems.
"How did you get a reservation for this place? I was told it was fully booked every time I've tried to schedule it?" Issa asked as they stood in front of the restaurant.
Kam looked up the restaurant sign, The Bell Tower, it read. Before yesterday, Kam had no idea that this place even existed, but now he knew that it was the only Michelin Restaurant in Georgia, and it was a two-star restaurant at that. It is one of the many reasons why Aline was such a big tourist destination worldwide. He didn't know how Jasmine had got the reservation, and he didn't care.
"A friend helped me," Kam said with a slight smile on his face.
"Some friends you have," Issa said as she looked at him with a skeptical look.
Before Kam could reply, a man dressed in a butler's tuxedo walked out of the door.
"Young Master Kamara, Miss Issa, if the two of you will follow me, I will lead you to your room." The man said in a respectful tone.
"Room?" Kam asked confusedly, although he knew about the place it was only on a surface level. He didn't have time to look into it in detail, he left all of that to Jasmine.
" Yes, Sir, a private dinner has been booked for the young master and misses." He clarified
Issa looked at Kam with another surprised look. "Your friends must really like you" she said as she hooks her arms around his.
"Ha I guess so" Kam sighed out "lead the way…
"Javier, Sir"
"Yes, lead the way, Javier," Kam said as he hooked his arm with Issa.
"Right Away, please follow me" the man said as he began leading the two of them throughout the Lavish restaurant.
The two were brought past the regular crowd and led to a separate area with four doors. They walked past the first two doors and were led to the third one which opened up into a gorgeous open dining room, with a crescent seat and table, big enough to fit six people.
"Here, you go, sir and madam. If you can take your seats, your server will be with you shortly" Javier said as he motioned for them to sit.
"Thank you," they both said before taking their seats, once they were seated Javier closed the door letting them have some privacy.
"This is nice" Issa exclaimed as she looked around the room
The two talked for a little while about the room until their waitress came and took their drink orders. Kam just got some water while Issa got a margarita since she didn't like any of the drinks served with the meals.
After an hour the two had made it past five of the ten courses they were going to be served for the night and while the food was heavenly, Issa had gotten fed up with the awkward energy Kam had.
"So, what's your problem?" Issa asked as she put down her utensils and stared at him.
Kam froze and looked into the sharp green eyes and flinched a little bit. He thought about not telling her at all tonight, but since she had brought it up he had no choice but to say something.
"Sigh, it was that obvious?" He sighed
"Yes, very" she replied with a frown, seeing that she wasn't wrong with her assumption.
