Loren POV
One moment I was burning to a crisp, and the next I was panting on the floor of Sybil Parris’s office. However, the Sybil and the Book of Prophecy were nowhere to be seen.
“Sybil Parris!” I called out, my voice was strained and my entire body was in pain.
But my head, my head was the worst. The after images of what I had witnessed in that strange realm kept flashing across my vision.
“Sybil Parris please, I need help, I don’t understand what I saw,” I cried out.
I managed to get up and stumbled over to her desk where I hoped she had left a note about where she had gone and why she had left me.
But there was nothing.
Desperate for answers, I stumbled to the elevator and made my way down the Astral Tower. I needed to find Alex and Lichenstroff. Hopefully one of them could help me make sense of what I had just experienced.
